This makes me wonder who else around the world is now suffering, surviving, in hostage somewhere and haven't been found. It's heartbreaking and it pains me that somewhere there is someone like that. May God give them faith to keep them going 💔💘

not related but my father didnt kidnap or anything but he did go to jail. for anger issues attacking someone with a metal pole. this was like in the 90s before my dad passed away. its kinda weird to think my dad went to jail. none of my friends dads been to jail or at least not that i know of. i never tell my friends my dad went to jail. when i was little i always saw him as too violent and abusive. if i said something wrong he would slap me hard on the face. or if i complained about something in a store he would spank me so hard. my first time in grade 1 class i was whining about being in class. he went to get a ruler right in front of the class on the ledge of the chalkboard and threatened me. that was embarassing. the teacher wasnt in the room but the kids were. if i even said something small like WHAT THE HELL hed get a coat hanger and gave me mulitple hard beating on my thighs and butt. it hurt like hell! so i didnt really miss him much when he passed away.
I'm sorry. To those of you making hateful comments - Unless you have some real evidence that this woman was in any way involved with this or had knowledge of this, you should put down your pitchforks. This is not the Middle Ages. The fact that she is related to Ariel Castro does not make her guilty. The fact that she didn't figure out what he was up to does not make her guilty (And she was not the only one who went into that house and didn't figure it out). It's not her fault she's related to an asshole. By disparaging her you're helping Ariel Castro win by creating more victims. Don't you think this bastard has created enough suffering?
NiecyQ Im no expert myself but i kind of thinking the same thing for one of the daughters. This girl seems very sincere. i doubt she knew anything about it. but one of the younger daughters i seen interviewed seemed shady. but then again who knows how youl act after finding out youre dad did something so evil. Maybe she did know but was scared maybe she was a victim of the father herself. But we dont know anything and these girls shouldnt be treated like some people are treating them. Just because they are his daughters doesnt mean they are guilty also. I have plenty of bad people in my family. some worse than others, but that doesnt mean im a bad person myself. Also where you get the info about Michelle saying the daughter knew something? just wondering cuz i havent heard that anywhere.

I’m saddened for all 3 girls but my heart is broken the most for poor Michelle. No loving family, a city that didn’t care and the alienation by the other 2 girls (especially after their freedom) is absolutely devastating.
How didn’t anyone in Astoros family see a sight of the baby, I mean as a baby, i mean it would be impossible for the baby to survive while being locked up in a basement, excessive crying? Baby diapers had to be seen somewhere, Baby clothes, how do u not observe all those things, How did he get away with it??

I do agree with that. I do believe it takes a village. I'm just saying that when you do see something suspicious, you don't automatically think things like that because sometimes we can't even imagine something so horrible.
I'm proud of Angie that she doesn't want to see her father again. My cousins were molested by their stepfather, two of them committed suicide, my one cousin who survived the abuse is still in touch with her stepfather and I will never understand how anyone could stay in touch with such monsters, knowing the abuse they have done.
Brainwashing into making the victim think is ok. !! Sadly young people especially young girls are so trusting !! Multiple evidence of this !! Amanda,Gina, and Michelle trusted this monster it’s happened more then these 3 times look at Ted Bundy and other serial rapist - murders !!
Yeah like when someone in my family acts weird and doesn't want me to go in certain parts of the house, I don't just think of them as weirdos, I assume they have three girls locked up as sex slaves and should really push to expose it.
I truly believe if she had legitimately suspected him of these atrocities, she would have reported it immediately. It’s not always easy to see the evil in people you loved and trusted. I can tell she’s a strong woman with incredible integrity.
It would be unfair to ever blame or accuse his offspring for anything related to what the sick man did . I would not have any problem never seeing him again either . My father was not this bad but did do some sex offender crimes including rape and it has always cause me much shame and rejection in my life . Its not fair but it happens. God bless all three of you ladies .
I'm so glad she stood up for Michelle. I also think she said the right thing about the whole situation. Can you imagine the family's shock over his actions?
I watched the movie and it was heartbreaking! My heart broke for ALL the girls, but especially Michelle and her story about losing her son! I’m glad she brought up Michelle’s name cause it seemed to be mostly about the other two girls!
Angie is very sincere in what she is saying. He was abusive to her mom to that's why her mom divorced Castro. It's a terrible thing to live with that your father kidnapped three girls for years and were held hostage in his home for his sick sexual pleasure. I don't blame Angie for not wanting anything to do with her father.
How she handled this interview was beautiful. I just watched the interview with her father's brother in law and all he had to say was.. poor Ariel was depressed and how he missed his daughter and how his family suffer (after his suicide). Without an ounce of compassion to these girls nor taking account how God awful his actions were. But his daughter acknowledging from the depth of her soul how horrible the actions of her father and the level of compassion she had for the girls. She will provide some needed healing for these girls as I'm sure they saw this video. Most families minimize the actions of the perpetrators because they don't wanna see them a different way but his daughter truly kept it real.
I like how she is clear and straight to the point. She seems very authentic and genuinely sorry which she shouldn't be. It was his evil and his alone!! I feel so sorry for his kids and the 3 women! He senselessly hurt and effected so many people.
from my opinion this girl is extremely strong hearted and honest. I hope she makes it through this just as much as the three girls. I couldn't imagine what it must feel like.
Wow!!! This young woman speaks with such bravery and wisdom. I hope that healing and more trafficking prevention results from this tragedy. Evil is an individual's choice, not an inherited trait.
Let's not forget that this monster was abusive to his wife and those kids. So it's clear that they are afraid of him. Maybe they decided not to search after he said no because they knew what he would've done to them, so you people shouldn't blame them because it's obvious he was good at hiding. Enough said
One person I feel so bad for who is never mentioned is his ex wife who he literally threw down the stairs and caused her brain tumors that ultimately led to her death. I don’t know how in this day and age, men who commit domestic abuse can still find jobs as school bus drivers. I would never let my kids be around someone who threw his wife down the stairs.
I always feel bad for the families of monsters. Most of the time it’s a character defect that they’ve just somehow developed on their own. I can’t imagine having to live with the knowledge that your father, son, brother, etc had done all of this horrible stuff.
Listen daughter, God loves you and even if He used a evil man to bring you here, it is His plan. Not for evil, only good. Seek Him! The ladies should do this as well. God bless you!
Poor girl. I hope she keeps strong. None of this was her fault. I bet this experience has been very traumatic for her too. She’s very brave for speaking on camera. It’s sad to think she was probably pressured into feeling she had to appear and speak on what her father did - just to show she is nothing like him. Shame on anyone who judges her in anyway.
Angie seems like a really good person. Sweet and well raised. Also very sincere in wanting to meet the three women and her little half sister. Hopefully time will heal and Amanda will allow Angie into her life because the relationship can be so rewarding. It's hard , but extended family can mean so much down the line.
I cannot imagine the pain that this would cause her as well. Finding out that your father is this heinous monster. Those girls were close to her age. That could have been her that was held captive, raped, and tormented. He took it out on others instead. She is very lucky really. Children can make a conscious decision to be like their parents, or to be nothing like them. Im glad that she is so loving, and I do hope that she gets to meet these girls one day.
I feel badly for both Castro's son and daughter. Although their pain can't match the victims', this whole thing must be pretty horrible for them, too. Like she says, his actions aren't a reflection of her or her brother, but that's how they'll be treated for the rest of their lives. World. give them a break, too.
That poor woman has to be SO thoroughly disgusted and embarrassed. She never asked for this. Good for her for speaking out and being so mature about this. She is a victim too!
I'm sorry, but how did u go to your dad's and not know about this. When I go to my parents house I go in every room and if a room is blocked off that would make me wanna go in that room more.....
+DivasKOThemes I read every single book. Castro is a fucking coward!!! I will still scream, they were put in the backyard where the neighbors saw them scream, do something. I was held captive for 4 days and tortured So I understand what they were going through, but I consider myself lucky. My way of thinking was if I'm going to die I'm not going out like this, it's not over until it's over I thought. all 3 girls could of took him out!!!! and I was only 14 too.
+DivasKOThemes honestly, I believe they gave up because there were times where they were dancing around the house trying to keep themselves occupied. 3 girls against his fat ass. I'm sorry, but I had to try. all I'm saying is try to do something Castro was a coward!
What a sweetheart! Goes to show you can't help her your relatives are and the actions of what they do. I feel sorry for her. She was so oblivious to what he was doing. I hope his family can heal as well as the girls.
there was literally no reason to judge her because she did more than condemn her father's actions. she cut him off without hesitation. i commend her because some people would be conflicted.
Hi There In my opinion it was not Amanda Berry who was the real hero! Yes she bammed through the screen door, calling for help. The neighbor's as well as Charles Ramsey helped her out of The House of Horror. But in reality the real hero/heroine? was Michele Knight! She did everything she could to protect Georgina. Michele also delivered Amanda's baby Jocelyn and breathed life into her. She had developed a horrible stomach bacteria. Georgina was the youngest and was weak from hunger as she sounded like she became anorexic from not eating healthy wholesome meals. She was upstairs with Michele. Let's call a spade a spade here...the real hero was Michele! Another thing watch Michele Knight's interview with Dr. Phil, in the interview Dr. Phil asks Michele, "How do you feel about Amanda Berry?" Look at Michele's expression as she responds to the question. She is very dignified when she responds, but you can see her facial expression,"We're not best of friends, but we're okay." I think that said it all. I have my opinions from both books and the movie and rather not give an opinion here as I wasn't there, but it is obvious something more was amiss here.
Cant help but imagine that while all of us were out there experiencing the outside world for those 10 years, these poor girls were going through the most horrible things.
I would feel guilty that I didn't see the signs and be able to have helped them. Thank God she don't feel that way because in no way would it have been her fault.
This may sound horrible but i actually think that one day it may be good for the little girl to meet Angie. There has to be so much for her to process and seems like it might be good for her to see the part of that side of her bloodline that is kind. Kids identify with there parents no matter what the situation is. Even today 5 yrs later I know the road is long for these girls. Prayers

so very odd that family. knew nothing or even checked in the house at all is so unbelievable
i really dont buy that family knew nothing come on he had to been acting crazy
some one in family knew something why she say how long did he think he keep them there exactly ..family never went in house lol in 10 yrs
Angie had spoken a mere six words when I knew she was a real person. I acknowledge her strength in the face of her fathers weakness. She keeps a healing focus on the survivors and their families , expresses her tremendous angst and banishes her father as such. Women are a lesson to us all.
This lady has a heart of an angel. She accepts that her father made a horrible mistake. And he's not worth keeping in her life.
This makes me wonder who else around the world is now suffering, surviving, in hostage somewhere and haven't been found. It's heartbreaking and it pains me that somewhere there is someone like that. May God give them faith to keep them going 💔💘
These days? Human trafficking was a thing back then too but more common these days😢
Who cares
If this was not me or anyone i care for who cares
She is brave and admirable for going on film and discussing her father and his actions. So many people will probably continually link her to her father in their minds, which is a tragedy in itself. I hope you're doing well now and have been able to recover from this. ❤️
I can't imagine my father doing this. I would have some real trust issues.
not related but my father didnt kidnap or anything but he did go to jail. for anger issues attacking someone with a metal pole. this was like in the 90s before my dad passed away. its kinda weird to think my dad went to jail. none of my friends dads been to jail or at least not that i know of. i never tell my friends my dad went to jail. when i was little i always saw him as too violent and abusive. if i said something wrong he would slap me hard on the face. or if i complained about something in a store he would spank me so hard. my first time in grade 1 class i was whining about being in class. he went to get a ruler right in front of the class on the ledge of the chalkboard and threatened me. that was embarassing. the teacher wasnt in the room but the kids were. if i even said something small like WHAT THE HELL hed get a coat hanger and gave me mulitple hard beating on my thighs and butt. it hurt like hell! so i didnt really miss him much when he passed away.
@monkeyboy2461 awh that's sad but keep in mind that you aren't alone, a lot of others have parents with the same issues.
Such empathy from the daughter of a “monster”. She us clearly a good person and this has been traumatic for her as well.
This is horrible!!!!!
She's a victim also...
I know she’s embarrassed of her dad. She’s beautiful.
This is NOT the girl who tried to cut the baby's throat. This girl is a different sister.
what?????
Yea it was Emily, Castro other daughter that Michelle was friends with
NiecyQ lol are you some experienced criminal investigator?
Which interview is that? I listened to the whole Dr. Phil interview and don't remember hearing her say anything of the sort.
What a compassionate, courteous woman. It would be unfair to judge her and the rest of their family based on the mistakes of that monster. They're victims too, having to live with this stigma
How do you not notice your dad has 3 girls in the basement? She was obviously a part of it
@@RandyLahey33 oh my. I hope not. That would make this a sadder story yet
She is so strong and glad that she’s choosing to see him for what he is instead of denying his deeds...
its not their fault for what her dad did why r ppl so mean to her
Hmm...
interesting question, I'm a little curious myself!
Michelle said he made her dig holes in the yard.. I think he was gonna kill them
@@mzbatonrougebeauty5267 yes...or he just wanted the holes to be ready in case...or even making her dig her own grave..gruesome man....glad he's gone
@@mzbatonrougebeauty5267 He had Gina digging holes too. The one she dug was for his dog Kashla though. He hit the dog with his car. Like the monster he is
My hair is real too
I’m saddened for all 3 girls but my heart is broken the most for poor Michelle. No loving family, a city that didn’t care and the alienation by the other 2 girls (especially after their freedom) is absolutely devastating.
Why did the other two girl alienate poor Michelle? That is so cruel
@@SweeTeaNLemon what does that mean?
@@geetanjalidas3417
What does what mean?
@@SweeTeaNLemon what ur statement mean. What the 2 other girl did to her? I watched all of this case documentary but never found any of those. So wanna ask of I skipped something
I thought that he brought Jocelyn around everyone and that he took her to church? Also it was said that he played with her in the yard and took her on errands and out to dinner. How is that not suspicious? I'm too noisy my Dad could never get away with anything!
Well he can probably pull that off when he tells everyone that that's his girlfriend little girl he's spending time with
+cubanita365 and the mother is never around? i would be like wheres her mother!
+PinkJoy 2 I think it's very easy for people not to be suspicious. Even if you notice something is a little off your first thought isn't going to be, Shit! He might have 3 women chained up in his house for years
Nicole M But Nicole a grown man playing with a random kid from time to time yet you never see the mother? I think we as a society need to return to our old ways of neighborly and community love. What happened to it takes a village? We have lost our core values. Don't you think?
I do agree with that. I do believe it takes a village. I'm just saying that when you do see something suspicious, you don't automatically think things like that because sometimes we can't even imagine something so horrible.
I feel really bad for that girl...
I’m so sorry for your losses. 💔
Such an amazing woman. She is absolutely nothing like her father.
Yeah like when someone in my family acts weird and doesn't want me to go in certain parts of the house, I don't just think of them as weirdos, I assume they have three girls locked up as sex slaves and should really push to expose it.
Missfeke wtf not everybody is mentally ill 😂😂😂. i understand though.
• SOULESS • pretty sure its sarcasm lol
very strange that is red flag s right there family scared off that creepy weirdo
Who's here after watching the movie Room?
me

ayye me
me!!
me.too i seen this on the news back then n thought it was boring but watching room makes it interesting
Imagine having the thought that your own dad has had your best friend in the basement.
I truly believe if she had legitimately suspected him of these atrocities, she would have reported it immediately. It’s not always easy to see the evil in people you loved and trusted. I can tell she’s a strong woman with incredible integrity.
Definitely ,she strong morals ,
I feel bad for his daughter. She
Will be Judged by other ppl because of
What her dad did but she is not a reflection of who she is as a person.
His daughter was collateral damage. My heart goes out to any of his kids
I don't blame Angie for not wanting anything to do with her father.
his other daughter is imprisoned for attempted murder for 25 years for slitting her baby's throat.
Kyle Tee Wtf!? Omg that family is so fucked up. It makes me sick!
Kyle Tee Omg no way!, are you serious???
UK DQ yeah im serious
Jessey Booker google her...she comes up somewhere..
Kyle Tee yea one messed up family my god
People are so sick... judging her... laying guilt on her by association... these people out there make me so sick....
I just can’t believe the girls lived in there 10 years and he had family in and out and no one knew. Crazy!
exactly. not judging but family in and out knew nothing come on now? he show baby photo his with Amanda he raped the gurl she didn't want tht creep
exactly the point 10 yrs family member s knew absolutely shit is beyond crazy
He would turn the music high when he had family over
I have so much empathy and respect for her in this interview. God bless her sweet heart.💗
That poor girl's face is contorted in pain. She had nothing to do with her evil father. My heart goes out to her.
The worst part is is that he used her as bait for these girls... not like physically but they all knew her
her father is the monster not her. She shouldn't have to pay for her father's disgusting and disastrous sins. God bless her.
She has so much goodness in her, she's nothing like her father.
Who we become is our choice.
It's not her fault that her Dad was crazy. She didn't know.
I feel for this poor woman. How horrifying it must've been when she found out. I believe her. U can hear the sorriness in her speaking. God bless her.
Sadly the man didn’t feel any pain in jail and killed himself instantly what a coward
Anyone watching in 2019? 🤔
Sex on the shelf 😂😂😈😂😈
Me...i didnt know about this case if i didnt watch the movie 😅😅
Yup. Happy new year!

She's brave for speaking out. I would've changed my name and moved.
I feel badly for both Castro's son and daughter. Although their pain can't match the victims', this whole thing must be pretty horrible for them, too. Like she says, his actions aren't a reflection of her or her brother, but that's how they'll be treated for the rest of their lives. World. give them a break, too.
I feel sorry for his brothers also. They got arrested for no reason.
Her and her uncles had nothing to do with the girls kidnapper, she's such a smart young lady, God bless her.

That poor woman has to be SO thoroughly disgusted and embarrassed. She never asked for this. Good for her for speaking out and being so mature about this. She is a victim too!
I'm sorry, but how did u go to your dad's and not know about this. When I go to my parents house I go in every room and if a room is blocked off that would make me wanna go in that room more.....
exactly!
+DivasKOThemes and my father, I'm going in every room, I don't give a shit what he says
True... Just so sad what those girls went through, my heart breaks for them
That monster ruined hundreds of people lives... when I hear this story the first time I cryed for days.
Love you GINA , MICHELLE, Amanda 💖💖💖🙏🙏🙏
What a sweetheart! Goes to show you can't help her your relatives are and the actions of what they do. I feel sorry for her. She was so oblivious to what he was doing. I hope his family can heal as well as the girls.
I'm not impressed with this interviewer - she is smiling while interviewing this young woman. Amateur.
the actions of one should not be the reflection of everyone else.
there was literally no reason to judge her because she did more than condemn her father's actions. she cut him off without hesitation. i commend her because some people would be conflicted.
Hi There
In my opinion it was not Amanda Berry who was the real hero!
What's sucks is she has the same blood as him.
DarkMistress17 little Jocylene has the same blood now as well, still sucks?!
Not necessarily. Everybody has unique blood and unique dna so your statement is incorrect literally and figuratively
We all have the same blood as Adam and Eve.
Jorge Abrego 😂 no sea mamón
@@Jorge01234 Proof or bullshit.
Cant help but imagine that while all of us were out there experiencing the outside world for those 10 years, these poor girls were going through the most horrible things.
I would feel guilty that I didn't see the signs and be able to have helped them. Thank God she don't feel that way because in no way would it have been her fault.
He destroyed 2 families he destroyed his own family in theirs he mess up their life he deserve to be jail for life never get out
I cannot imagine learning that my loved one committed such atrocities. I think I'd just roll over and die. Poor family
Prayers
her dad took her friends from school and no one found that alarming?
odd
I feel so bad for her! Very brave of you to do this interview 👍
How can she not know there were someone in the house??? She had to know.. She had to... over 10 years?? She didn't know? Hell no!!
