What about Michelle Knight? Everyone forgets about her. She’s the one that suffered the most. She was abducted first. She does more talk shows and even went to the movie scenes for the one they based off there’s on. They should really show her equal attention.

Michelle's story is even more tragic than the other two victims and that is an incredible thing to acknowledge ! Poor girl had a broken and dis functional family BEFORE she went missing. Breaks my heart she didn't have a warm and supportive family but, by God, she's a survivor !

Let's be honest. These brothers would have seen SOMETHING or sensed SOMETHING over 11 years. They chose not to pay attention. That is on them. I don't believe for a second they were unaware of something sinister going on. They chose to ignore it because it was awkward and inconvenient to bring up with their brother. It must be so hard to be a family member to someone who did something that atrocious. People just expect them to hate him for what he did, and are completely oblivious to the fact that you can't switch off your feelings. The family are victims as well, and admitting you still care for a convicted person doesn't make YOU an atrocious person.
If I found out my brothers or mother had done something like this I wouldn't be able to stop loving them, and it would break my heart and I would feel torn between my emotions for them and my guilt for the poor families.

Michelle Knight doesn't receive the same recognition and Castro wasn't charged as seriously with her because she was an adult when abducted while Amanda and Gina were teens. It's not right. But it's reality.

The psychic told Amanda's parents that she was dead...Amanda Berry's mom passed away years later not knowing her daughter is alive and free.
I feel really bad for his kids. They are hurting knowing their dad was such a monster.

@Julie W. The only one who saw the girl was his brither Pedro and that was at a McDOnalds not Castro's backyard. He told him it was his girlfriend's daughter and Ariel told her (Berry's Daughter) to not say anything about GIna Amanda and Michelle. I suggest you read all of their books. both of their books show how smart and methodical Castro was in regards to hiding them in plain sight. Also when you're at a relative's house I am sure there are soe areas he/she doesn't let you go to. Not to mention the girls were starved and malnourished so they couldn't really cry for help
I was never allowed in the basement when my grandparents were alive (even as an adult) and I never found it odd. The reason no one was allowed because they had so much junk down there, and no one questioned that. After they died, we were the ones who cleaned out the basement. It's really not that odd when it comes to relatives.

Considering the circumstances it is understandable why they all 3 were taken in. Once the story was told by the hostages, it cleared up the accusations of these 2 brothers.
