I love how you make everything work. We all make mistakes but you turn them into happy little accidents that are super creative. You've really helped me let go of perfectionism and enjoy the process. That paper stack is beautiful! I never tire of looking at patterned paper. For me, it's very similar to the sensory experience I get when I look at a lot of patterned fabric...all the beautiful patterns and colors and even the touch, is just something I can do forever. ❤

My grandparents had a “Dry Goods” store… and sold fabric and sewing notions, among other things. I think that is where my love of pretty paper, and other craft supplies comes from. I used to look at pattern swatch books, and open the embroidery floss drawers, and the zippers lined up on the rack organized by color, go through the BIG pattern books, spin the button rack… I loved it all!

Love the white lines on the flower card. Maybe stamping on the rose gold cardstock you should have used staz-on? Could you then stamp it again with clear ink and then clear powder? But you still can use that flag bit as a mat and put something over ot like with the circles. :) don't want to waste the pretty stuff! The last card: those flowers look very 1960s to me. I think they'd look great in 60s brown, orange, yellow, and avocado green. 5 great cards! ♥️

Yeah the cream is so much better than the pink on that first card.
Those are all so pretty! I love the cream cardstock and the inlay. It's so hard to pick a favorite. I think the two I like best are the "hello friend" landscape card and the one with all the stamped flowers and gold pearls.
I would be so grumpy with out air conditioning. It's 100 plus here. Hope you start enjoying your sanity soon! BTW you will need a couple extra chairs in your cool room when your family realizes how awesome Cathy's craft room is!
Yeah, it has been a bit stressful over the years, as I've been self employed for oh… 25 of those years, and always hot in here in the summer! NO MORE! hahahah
@@czdesign You would never know by your videos. You seem to approach the world with humor and kindness. Yes, stress happens nonetheless. Oh, you may have a video outlining this, but I see folks in our community not understanding what makes something clean and simple. You are the expert of clean and simple cards and really understand the boundaries.

Great cards, Cathy! Remember " Flower Power"?? That's what this stamp set makes me think of. I love how you put the cream cut out over the pink. It did look better with the cream, but the pink was great with it. I really look forward to your unboxings. It is amazing all the different cards you make from one kit. I wonder if the violet studio gel pens (from a past kit), would have worked with the pink ink flowers. Thanks so much for your inspiration! 🌺🌷

I love how well the tape adheres. My only issue is that sometimes it is difficult to run the tape across the paper - kind of like the rolling mechanism freezes up. I’ve opened 3 rolls so far and they have each done it. User error possibly? Thank you so much for taking your time to go through the release! Seeing the kit details up close is so nice before I pay for my subscription.
