You're a wonderful human being. Most people would just send a check for $50 to their local shelter but you actually involved your dog/best friend and got the things that the animals at the shelter really want/need.
One last thing: help control the population have your pet spayed or neutered!

Thank you Teddy, you cutie, for finding so many toys and food that shelter dogs surely desperately need, there is only one thing they will surely miss: their human soulmate to give them all their love. There is absolutely no other being that can give more love than a dog. We adopted a dog from a shelter some years ago and that was the best decision we made so far.
