I'm a senior with a golden who pulls on the leash so much that I'm unable to even take her for walks. I've been watching Teddy Tuesdays for a while and it breaks my heart that my golden doesn't get days of fun. Yes, it's so hard to lose one person close to you let alone multiple people. My family lost all but two of the Greatest Generation in less than 2 years. It was so strange to realize we were, for all intents and and purposes, now the elders of our family.

My own dog Bambi has also helped me through incredibly hard times and I always refer to her as a person. I often refer to her as a person because she means so much to me that I genuinely sometimes just feel that she's a human being. My family thinks I'm weird because of it but I don't care.

My rescue dog is similar-he would never hurt anyone. I bought security cameras to protect him. He also had a $10,000 plus surgery 2 weeks ago or he would pass. Had a ruptured gallbladder. Animals are in some ways better than any human. Love them and take care of them and they will give you ten fold in return for the rest of their life.
@@starstencahl8985 OK, you just made me cry. 2 weeks ago, I lost my 13 year old kitty that I'd had since he was 6 months old. It was very sudden, and I've really been struggling the past couple of days. I'm so grateful for the time I had with him.

I don't know if it will work for him, but I have found a solution for my little destroyer. If I give him three toys at a time, it spreads his attention and the toys live a much longer life. Love this dog house.
