1:19 love the TV position, very effective 😂😂😂
I think this is a great video, very helpful as I’m looking at buying one of these off road trucks.
Glad it was helpful!
Love, love, love this!
Congratulations on a very interesting, informative, and well put together presentation. It's great that you ask the questions often left out by many presenters, well done.
Maybe a litttle more on the mechanics.????

thanks, which questions were those?
Good video, but please use a gumball. I was getting a bit sea sick!
It was GoPro "stabilisation" not stabilising sorry about that
@@L2SFBC OK .. and damb auto correct ... I meant gimbal :(
Check the dji osmo action 3
@@Tim_E lol auto correct didn’t correct “damb”, it should be damn.

Great stuff!
In such cases consider post production stabilizer programs, I think TH-cam got one built in...
Love the vertical toilet roll holder.
Were there tie points in the bathroom to string a clothes line for drying of clothes? Wet rain jackets would be the first thing I would be hanging in the bathroom.
I would have thought a solid piece of something could be handy to lock the camper from the inside of the camper from the truck cabin for when transporting on ships/trains, on the back of a truck or for when getting the vehicle serviced. It wouldn't have to be a swinging or sliding door, just something you can lock in place when needed and store somewhere when not needed.
AAV supply a panel that can secure the motorhome module separately from the truck cabin.
I'd like to know more about the diesel cook top. didn't even know they existed.
What are your questions?
It is a Wallas (made in Finland) diesel cook top and air heater combo. Used fuel from the main vehicle tank. The concept is from the marine industry. As a global remote travel vehicle gas is not always available.
The trouble with east-west beds is that you have to climb over your partner multiple times at night to take a piss. Or they’re climbing over you.
Camp solo. Problem, solved :-)
No good for tall folks either
life’s so hard
Great looking trucks. I noticed they didn't have any breathing space under the bed. Do you think they'll have mold issues down the line?
Nice lay out.
Breathing space? What's that and why's it needed?
@@L2SFBC I think like maybe anti condensation matts or similar.
@@L2SFBC Great question. When people sleep on mattresses they sweat, or if there is high humidity / lots or rain.
Mattresses need to breath and have some airflow. This prevents mold forming or building up. So one can use wooden slats with openings, air-flow moisture barriers, or the more expensive European Froli sleep systems, to help manage this.
I hope this helps.
It’s a 100mm foam mattress with an option for a innerspring/ latex mattress. = no sweat. Some owners add the plastic spaces below the foam mattress.
@@goannatracks1 Not all latex foam mattresses are equal, some have more synthetic properties than others, something we found out when purchasing our first latex foam mattress for our house. In our camper we have a latex foam mattress sitting atop a set of wooden slats, in really humid weather, even with our Sirocco fan running; having the slats under the mattress is for us, a better arrangement.
how long is the rear cabin?
Note a fan of the East West bed due to my height. How's the view from the driver's side window if you're a 6'+ chap? I know it was mentioned in a video I watched that the Isuzu is terrible for tall drivers, necessitating having to bob ones head down to do a head check out the window!
Didn't check the bed. I did drive an Isuzu and found visibility not to be a problem and I'm 6.0.
@@L2SFBC maybe I'll need to sit in the driver's seat, to judge. 188cm/ 6'2".
Join the owner's groups on FB and ask, there will be some tall ones there.
Still. I couldn't figure out the comment he made when looking at the back-tail gate storage area, regarding international shipping, I e roll-on roll- off!
Which comments?
What would be price of such rig ?
Ask AAV4X4
Are these available in the US
Regrettably no. It requires a complete redesign for a LHD vehicle. Although we have had clients purchase one here and tour Australia then take it back to Europe
@@goannatracks1 well that sucks, thanks for the response, take care.
I guess it'd be mirroring the design; changing the door from left to right, and the shower, cooking etc. And then are Canters or Isuzus even available in the USA?
@@L2SFBC well if there's ever a desire to reach the market over seas I'm sure there's lots in the US that are willing to purchase your campers
Aren't there equivalents over there already? Or are they all much larger?
Video: Excellent thank you. Truck: Awful. I would not take this anywhere!
Why not?
I have one and currently touring Japan. Have driven Madigans Lind 3 times, and further back in time 360,000kms through Africa, Nth to Sth America, Europe and Iceland. I think that covers most of everywhere!
@@L2SFBC Very good question, specifics would be helpful.
geeez the camera work in this is shocking... shame he forgot to put on the stabilization..... so frustrating to watch....
so nothing good to say about his effort to give you all this information? yep.
Heh AAV. Good luck with that, their workmanship is terrible, and they actively avoid warranty claims. They don’t even have qualified mechanics doing the fit outs. Plenty of people have been burned by them, everything from winch wiring failures, to sub frames not installed correctly, diesel fittings leaking, rims being that far out of round they are impossible to balance etc etc. and their camper bodies are full of timber, which even with a subframe crack under torsion
Do you have proof of any of these claims?
Do you have proof of any of these claims?
@@geoffcasson8024 Yep, purchased through them in 2020/2021, had multiple parts that they fitted fail and no warranty, also if you look on the truck pages particularly the NPS pages you will find people with similar experiences
@@geoffcasson8024 yep, purchased from them in 2021, have had multiple parts they supplied and fitted fail, rims, both winches, fuel transfer pump, leaking fittings on the diesel sub tank and water tanks and chassis springs rusting out and breaking.
