Add that to the cooldown quirks and this is definitely one premium mech worth paying for! I love the scattershot. That was money well spent. I almost ran that same build you ran today, I love lbx10 and mrm so much! But I wanted to try that triple lbx2 and srm and that is such a fun build too!
Classic MWO, one medium mech drawing almost a quarter of your team away to a far side of the map, leaving those in the actual battleground outnumbered and picked apart. SMH.
What's worse is when you're a medium or a light surrounded by 3 to 5 assault mechs and the entire enemy team decides to focus YOU down instead of the buffet of assaults...
Great consideration for others by not highlighting faults. :) not every one is aware of the battle around them. Shooting what's in front takes up lots of brain power.
that second round was definitely your assaults' fault. All of them were acting with some tier 5 brains. I don't know if they were rat chasing or what, but they needed to be on the frontline and weren't.
I've been playing for many years, and I thought all the buffs were good buffs, not negatives. I should pay more attention and revise all my mechs to see if the quirks are proper, or wrong for the builds. :0
@@zr6671 Oh and also, you can buy the one in the video (Scattershot) for MC now. You don't need 'real' money anymore for it, although you won't get the battlepass, how those things work I'm not sure so not wasting my money on them.
Hey Baradul, I love the Daily Dose videos. Did you get the clan Wolfhound when they issued out the loyalty mechs? Trying to figure out a decent build for mine atm would love to see what you think about it.
The lbx spread from skills lists as a +xx%. So the +25 quirk actually tightens the spread. Just like the skill does. It just displays as a + because it’s a + to that particular bonus. It’s weird. But go look before and after the lbx spread skill nodes
Nope, sorry to correct you here. The Skill nodes are a -5% each. The Quirk is a +%. It also shows a red number (compared to the other green enhancements) wenn you hover over the isntalled weapon and check the spread modifier. The spread is increased here.

you should a Golden Boy MRM build. the MRM velocityy with the quirks is insane.

This thing was a true beast before it got nerfed. Before, you could sandblast the armor off of mechs at 600 meters no problem.
The Shadowhawk is definitely XL friendly. I run my SHD-2D2 with AC-10 and 3xSRM6, XL 280 and regularly tank 500+ damage
@Baradul you should do the Uziel hero with JJs, 2xMRM10 4xLPPCs. the missile velocity quirks are crazy

Yeah, this variant is one of the few mechs that has no jump jet jiggle
