"Tell me, Ambassador. Have you ever read anything by Sun Tzu? It's fine, I'll set you up with a copy of his writings. You may find them enlightening."
I’ve read a few versions of the book, he would need a fully annotated copy to catch all of the subtleties.
its miltary doctrine for the humans.
if fighting is sure to result in victory then you must fight sun tzu said that
“Mr tzu had a lot more than 4 pillars to his warfare philosophy, and after a thousand years of military advancement he’s pretty much considered entry level. We’ve had WAY better generals since then.”
Thank you, Commander Riker..
Centuries later, a human & an alien attending a conference listen to the very story being orated by the speaker. Afterwards, the alien notices an odd look in the human's facial expression. "Something wrong?" he asks. "No," the human replies, "Just remembered a similar incident in our ancient past." "WHAT!" The shout startled other species & the orator, the orator calls the human down to the podium, "You say this is not the 1st time your species encountered this kind of incident?" "No," the human replies, "It happened before, centuries ago, we use the story as a warning to not only never be negligent of your duties, but also not to allow yourself be corrupted by the desire for power." The human narrates the tale of the French Revolution, how the French Monarchs were deposed & how the man responsible for their demise became consumed by power & all it had to offer fell victim to the same fate. "Every Earth Politician familiar with the story keeps it fresh in his or her memory, do not be negligent in your duties, listen to those under you & no trouble will occur."
And every politician on The Planet forgets these stories these lessons and continue to neglect their duties let people suffer and die force people to do this and that force more money out of people's hands and know that People can't do Jack about it because The Politicians have all the weapons money and personal to stop any uprising.
@@rodan9773. We can still hope.
@@rodan9773lesson on only armed men are truly free.
@labelledamedumanor4876 - Indeed, we can, and we must.
All it takes for evil to triumph is for good people to sit back and do nothing.
Be the change you want to see in the world and you will lead by example.
Balkanisation being mentioned at the end sent me reeling
balkanisation was the best result possible.
imagine them after losing all support home for the fleet, being invaded by other species hungry for slaves or worse
imagine them after losing all the leaders (nobles) and therefore all possible coordination between them
God damn. This story is the reason why I'll go thru a hundred of these stories to find the diamond in the rough.
That was some awesome strategy. The human ambassador should do a mic drop at the end there..
The Zox deserved it. And who knows... the strategy could be used during these times too against oppressors....
The Zox were the equivalent of every Earth Monarchy that caused it's own demise through neglecting their duties in favour of satisfying their own indulgences. The Human Ambassador obviously suspected this.
@@labelledamedumanor4876 I personally find monarchies really useless. It's worse than that: With all the pomp and circumstance (without circumstances until the inevitable revolution), it becomes a huge money suck, taking the money away from what would really benefit the people... not that republics do all that will these days in that regard, but still....
@@theplaintech
I come to the exact same conclusion about democracies, with the notable difference that monarchies are a lot more stable and happier.
@@prestonjones1653 You mean the British Monarchy? Surely you jest.
Democracies are mob rule... and we got to see how that works in 'the summer of love'.
Nope. It sort of looks like (and I could be wrong here) that republics are the way to go. Of course, over the centuries, republics seem to give way to democracies, democracies seem to give way to autocratic rulers (like monarchies or just plain dictatorships) and eventually, the whole thing collapses into anarchy. Then the whole cycle starts over again as if nobody has learned a thing.
Let's just watch what comes up in the next year or so, shall we. From here, it doesn't look promising... unless you've isolated yourself completely and compartmentalize the rest of the world away.
This is ONI level of sneaky, tho those orbital cannonsyiu need to build a couple of hundred more. Also turning the people against the monarchs
One of the best stories.....
A very Satisfying Conclusion for the Zox's Empire. Commonly, Empires on this level of Narcissism set themselves up for collapse.
"let me play for you the song of my people..."
_Proceeds to show a montage of humans destroying 5 Zox home worlds, all set to "Party Party Party" by Andrew W Kay_
Zox diplomat attaché> "Man... He set the whole thing to rock music too..."
I thought of the Book of Five Rings and The Art of War. Spycraft and subterfuge. Love this story. Thank you.
4000 quatloo's the humans cannot be contained!
Alex Jones would be proud of the galactic honoring of InfoWars :)
All of these videos follow the same pattern: The aliens thought the peace-loving humans would be easy prey .... and then the humans kick their ass. Over and over again - I think this premise has been explored sufficiently after 50 videos.
It's the genre...HFY (Humanity,Fuck Yeah!)
This is really a good story. A planet killer halo rail gun. Dam.
yuuup
China vs the Philippines scenario. A falling economy, and the politicians want their citizens to look in the other way so they used the "South China Sea" and "Taiwan" scenario.
TikTok and the great firewall of China is how they are winning the information warfare
Croatian War of Independence 1991-1995! Only on the galaxy level (Balkanization)
Great story
Genius 😂😂
You should be writing in Hollywood.
Information Warfare. Yup.
Great story
Obviously sent Americans, they send in Jackels to do this.
Very much enjoyable
Excellent.
I thought that the ambassador would have blown up the planet that they were on. Could have taken out the entire enemy fleet. Albeit at the cost of his own.
Brilliant.
Name of the series please
thanks !
They made a Coilgun out of the Halo rings?
It was said earlier today. You do it.
An pray for the God of algorithm 😊
Propaganda they forgot about Propaganda
This is barely thumb-upable. Still disjointed AI narration and text issues.
Its fine, you can understand what hes saying right?
Who writes this stuff?
Someone needs an editor.
Ai
Very bad voice using wrong intonation for complex sentences and mispronouncing some English words.
Oooof
Another dreadful story read by a dreadful AI.
I find it funny nobody cared about tecy to speech until some Hollywood elites' jobs started being threatened by it.
it's easy to topple an empire when it's built on slavery *cough, america*
Oh fuck off with irl political bullshit.
Slavery was outlawed in the USA over 150 years ago and the USA was not built on slavery. Few people owned slaves. The US education system is now teaching a twisted version of history. Slavery was common around the world when it was occurring in the USA. The USA fought a terrible war that killed a lot of non-slave owners to end slavery. You really should evaluate your understanding of the US slavery issue.
@@BigTomInTheBasement Okay kiddo
@@ryandelgaty5793 yeah baby boy, you go on repeating the fake history the elites made up for you to repeat and divide the USA further.
@@ryandelgaty5793 It is not built on slavery. It was built by pioneers from Europe. The fact that we invented industries and a new economic model proved it. Not a single slave built a building. not a single slave built the roads. Only the rich ever owned slaves. including a black man who invented Chattel slavery.
