Polaroid B&W film is almost perfect. Other than the fact that it turns Sepia after awhile it's considerably sharper than color (probably because of all the color layers added on top) and it is genuine B&W film with silver transfer unlike the Fuji Instax Monochrome
Soo glad your back and I love the street photography. Naahem is one laid back guy, love watching him taking pictures and his chat. I have instant regret with Instant pictures but I loved how yours turned out Ribsy 😊. Thank you for taking us back to the Streets of New York ❤
Oh, wow! Colman Domingo! AND he posed for shots! Awesome video as always. Especially when you got Naeem on. You really made me nostalgic for my hometown with this one.
Yo! That dude with the baseball hat and yellow socks was Coleman Domingo...a fairly famous Emmy winning actor. He was in Fear of the Walking Dead and and lots of other movies and TV shows. I love watching him. And great video as well!
Glad you are not leaving my watch list! Always enjoyed your channel and whilst I don't think we ever met in London (very sad on that) I feel like you are a film tog friend. Good luck with the new direction.
I was sad when I saw that you left (via your threads account) but I'm glad you've returned. Not gonna lie, I liked your old videos, but I'm enjoying this format more and look forward to what's next.
So happy you are back! Just yesterday I was out in the park with some bulk-rolled Vision 3 and got a portrait of a guy who looked really cool with his outfit and posture. After taking the exposure I thought to myself if it wasn’t for Ribsy I probably wouldn’t have fallen in love with street photography. This was the perfect video to come back to with you and Naeem being out in the streets and getting Stellar portraits of people in the moment. Can’t wait to see what you do next. To celebrate you being back I am going to get me some rolls of New Classic 400 before they sell out.
MAN...SHOTS (POSES) CAME OUT FIRE.......BUT I AM NOT LIKING THE LOOK FROM THAT LOMO 92 STOCK!! I TRIED A ROLL MYSELF AND I JUST CAN'T GET DOWN WITH IT!!! GREAT VIDEO AND I LOVE WATCHING YOU TWO IN THE STREETS GETTING YOUR SHOTS!💯🤘🏾🤘🏾👊🏾
I actually really like this & hope to see more. I loved seeing y’all interactions with ppl. As an introvert it’s so hard to spark up conversation. One of the many reasons why I enjoy shooting street. Im so out of my comfort zone lol
Just re-watching of your old videos, and you say you are going to try and take some picture in Washington Heights,, and you say we should hold you to it.. so.... me points at Ribsy!!
The Polaroids kicked ass. Great portraits! I still prefer my Retrospekt upgraded SX-70 over the I-2, but the I-2 is a great camera! Shoot more Polaroid!
"Polaroid film is very sensitive to bright light during the first few minutes of development. It's important to shield your photo from bright light immediately after it ejects from the camera and keep it in a dark place while it develops."
@@ribsy At least give it just a couple of seconds, as that's the most critical period: "Polaroid film is sensitive to light even after it has been ejected from the camera. During these sensitive first few seconds, the film shield installed on your camera will extend on top of the photo and protect it from light. This allows enough time for the blue opacification layer to spread over the whole frame. After the first few moments have passed, your photo can be removed from under the film shield. The photo is still sensitive to light, however, and should still be kept shielded from strong light sources until it has developed further."
Yall, don’t hold my underexposed photos against me. It was a great day in the office except the film didn’t wanna play. 😭😭🤣🤣
😂, still came out good!
No more funny games! Next time we stick to portra! 😂
You’re an amazing photographer. Thanks for keeping it real too.
11:57 is like such an amazing scene, the look, vibe, cityscape, stogie, thats a portrait I want, a portrait of a portrait

I have to know the color grading workflow for this video.
just a negative lab pro negative conversion
why does everyone do a countdown when taking a photo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ????????????
To make sure your subject knows and doesn’t blink
Yo that was fucking Colman Domingo!!
It was! 😃
Yo bro❤
🙏
What do you vlog on?
Sony fx30
I am still waiting for someone to make '92 not look like crap. There is K Lomo, then there is bad Lomo.
The 92 just ain’t it! You have to over expose it a lot to have a chance
"Polaroid film is very sensitive to bright light during the first few minutes of development. It's important to shield your photo from bright light immediately after it ejects from the camera and keep it in a dark place while it develops."
Good to know, but I can’t always accommodate that. Still very happy with the results I got
@@ribsy At least give it just a couple of seconds, as that's the most critical period:

That dude's mind is like.....three dimensional..
10 minutes?!? Seems a LONG damn time from the inventor of "instant" photography. 😕
its def longer than id prefer
Well... That Lomo92 film is complete crap ! What a waste of time to shoot such a film...
Haha I don’t disagree at all. Naeem was tight!
Still tight!
Welcome back man!! bruh this camera you're using for video is cleeeeean btw dammit
Sony fx30! 😃
