    These two lenses may be compared to 2 almost identical cars with the only one major difference - the first has a manual transmission, the second one - automatic. The rest is more or less the same. Well...almost. Do you have any of these?

    Have u tried to use samyang e-mount? Maybe u got the vignetting issue because of your lens converter. Btw, great videos content. thank you

      Thanks, mate! Unfortunately I haven’t used with the e-mount, but I believe it is quite ok the amount of vignetting - not terrible, not great. Average I would say. But yes, with e-mount it MAY give a little bit different results. But I am not sure :)

    I was hoping for a comparison of image character, background blur, blur falloff, bokeh quality, highlight fall off, flares.

      Some of these items are covered. Some not.

    Just the comparison I was looking for... using Samyang Cines 14, 35, 85 for my Sony A7Rii. Wanted an autofocus lens for my dji RS 2 (I have the 3D focus module). So both the Samyang and the sony are viable options... Seems like Sony will be the winner. Thanks

      Yes, definitely a Sony lens is the best choice for a gimbal + autofocus combo. 👌🏼

      @@PavelSupanenka Hi Pavel - even though it's an Sony ARii (not known for it's stellar autofocus)?

      Right. Anyway whatever autofocus is much better than lack of autofocus (as we have in case with Samsung 24 T1.5), right? ☺️

    The flange distance of adapter might cause big difference in quality of pictures taken....

    • @PavelSupanenka
      @PavelSupanenka  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      A mount adapter has no glass and will generally not affect the optical performance of the lens- unless it's exceptionally poorly made.
