Very good videos Beau, I am addicted, LOL. You have a great way of making it fun for those of us watching you and I appreciate that my kids can watch too since you keep it clean, thx.
Things I've learned from watching these videos: 1. If I'm out someplace and need sunglasses, jump in the nearest river. 2. If I go swimming, don't take along any sunglasses I want to keep. Quite an amazing collection you've amassed in the few videos I've seen. :)
Love your videos Beau! I'm from Australia and just today went into the bush around Ballarat and found a WW1 Australian army button cleaned it up and figured out it is about 100 years old!
Congrats on having a new GoPro. It looks like it was fresh out of the box before it ended up in the river, those cases sure do a good job. I am very happy that you found the bracelet.
after seeing so much garbage in my local river, I was amazed how clean it still was.. Of course we sponsor our Boy Scouts that clean it out in sections in and along the river banks 2x a yr and the rest of us donate $ to them for doing so.. to pay for their protection clothing and I bring 2 knit bags with with to put the cans and other Junk in those Knit Bags ( water flows thru them) I then will send the Bag Up to the surface with a Balloon , later come back and Take it to the Towns Gabage Cans that Line our Section of the River .. Get your town to do the same if you can..Lobbying your City Council Member.. Getting a Go Fund Me account and getting just 100 people donating just $10 can pay for several Garbage Cans... and turn your section of a river into a Park for your town! :-) DTM
Steven Hurt I used to bring my keys down the river swimming all the time in my teens and early twenties. My solution was take two heavy duty baby diaper pins and pin the keys to your shorts pocket lining in two separate places. You can use one but two is good insurance I never lost my keys or had them come unhooked while swimming in all kinds of water conditions. You can actually leave the diaper pin(s) attached to your standard key ring all the time for use anytime the need arises. However on rare occasion they can open and poke you in the thigh as they get worn. They also come in handy for other stuff like removing slivers when you'd normally not have anything to use to remove them on you.
Those bracelets mean a lot to soldiers. I just retired and live in a military community so I see them all the time on soldiers. I'm sure the soldier who lost that would love it back hope you find out who's it was.
Beau, What do you do with all the sunglasses you find?Decorate the trees in your yard? Have a booth at a swap meet? Cement them together and build a fence out of them? Have a different pair for every minute of the day? lolThanks for the videos. I really enjoy watching them!
The bracelet reminds me of the POW-MIA bracelets from the Vietnam war. You would wear it until the person was found or came home. When you found out the fate of the soldier you would return the bracelet to his family. Possibly you found a more recent version of the ones from the Vietnam War.
you must have a blast hunting. I wish I was lucky enough to even find sun glasses...let alone a frickin go pro.. that would make my day...I'm way to poor to have a luxury like that X,D I get my kicks by watching these videos...
I LOVE the fact that you try and return the items to the rightful owners. So many people would just do this and go right to the pawn shop for easy cash. So much respect for you. I can't believe how many people in the comments seriously try to claim the items. But thank you for being an honest person, this channel is amazing. Wanna come to my local river and help me look for my old gopro 2? hahaha
Nice one Beau! All those GoPro's you keep finding, it wont be long before you have enough cameras to open your own film studio ;) Well done mate, another excellent video, thanks.
Your my Hero. PS I bought a small blue bottle with no mold lines & lots of bubbles for 15c at the Goodwill Outlet that was dug by some one else. Perfect condition. Some one had to re-key a bunch of locks! Geez.
5:20 Now that represents one massive F-bomb! LOL The GoPro did too. 5:42 Good thing they wrote "Bottle Opener" on that bottle opener. I wouldn't know WTF is was if they didn't! LOL. That's sarcasm, for those that don't recognize it. ;-)
Beau Ouimette (AquaChigger), Great finds as always!!! I think you may have enough Sunglasses found to maybe go into the Guinness Book of World Record!!!! It amazes me how some people actually think that you are just going to give them a free GoPro Camera. I've seen something unknown in the water and I've tried to magnet fish it out but alas I can't throw it that far. And my shoes are water shoes but the bottom of the river is so thick my feet sink into the ground in the water and I just got these shoes so I am not looking forward to losing them so soon. There is a good amount of broken glass and slaw Aluminum and rusty hooks that is keeping me from going in bare foot. Although I did try it and that is when I came across some ifies that could really hurt me. It's been raining alot lately also which is making the water rise. So I'll have to wait for the water to go down before I can go in and maybe get whatever it is out. I don't have scuba gear either. I had two pairs of goggles but not sure where they went too when I moved. I might have to get another pair. It's hard because I wear glasses to see and the goggles don't work real well around the side pieces. GL and HH
When I was a kid, they had MIA bracelets that were similar in design to the bracelet you found. These bracelets were designed to remember US service personal missing in action in the Vietnam war. Perhaps they have brought that back to honor KIA service members in Iraq and Afghanistan? Good luck.
Unlike..I only Go HUnt in a Certain Area in a Resort Lake were Boaters come and drop a hook in 20-40 ft of water and hang out for 5-7 hrs nd go ashore in the Sandy Botton that is covered with smaller Boats in closer.. And of course, those boaters are rich spoiled kids and people.. and they loose everything can imagine.. from Designer Sun Glases to current Phones, $, Real Diamond Earrings and Expensive watches, even their Boat Anchors( Not tied to their Boat or purposly lost to get a better one) Gold Jewlerly either lost by accident or On Purpose to collect the Insurance or Broke ukp with BoyFriends/Husbands, etc..Its Amazing! In my 1st 5 Summers of Skin diving the 1/4 mile long area in 20-40 ft of water in the seaweed? over $25k in cashed in Jewelery ( Very Little claimed after turned in to P Lost and Found and after 90 days, its yours.. Now using Kayack and Small 5lb pull Jewelery Magenic fishing Not using those Big one's, just enough to hook Jewelery right under a Bidge, right in town , but Only after Dark and only Mon, Tues & Wed.. Let the Rich Tourist fill it up
I think that bracelet is like a sponsor type thing, i heard about them a while ago. You can sponsor a marine by getting one of those and engraving their name on it sort of thing, i'm not 100% sure because i've only heard about them, never seen one. Maybe thats what it is? No idea, just a thought
If you ever get tired of collecting GoPros, I'd be more than happy to give you a finder's fee and pay shipping on one! Same thing for any American Optical or Randolph Engineering aviator glasses (I know the Navy/Marines use them and possible Air Force also.) IMO, they have the best neutral gray (doesn't change colors) lenses of any sun glasses. I've been wearing them since 1973 when I got out of Navy boot camp.
I am going to wait for you to find a GoPro Hero 7 before claiming it as mine. It is amazing that you said you found about six Hero 4's in that river, but thousands say they lost theirs in that exact river.
I like your underwater searching videos the most! :)
Very good videos Beau, I am addicted, LOL. You have a great way of making it fun for those of us watching you and I appreciate that my kids can watch too since you keep it clean, thx.
Ditto on the family friendly content!
+ProjecthuntanFish Ditto on the whole comment. always enjoy your videos.
Good stuff man. I love how u do your best to return items. Your a good man.
Things I've learned from watching these videos:
1. If I'm out someplace and need sunglasses, jump in the nearest river.
2. If I go swimming, don't take along any sunglasses I want to keep.
Quite an amazing collection you've amassed in the few videos I've seen. :)
love your videos. you do a great job explaining and involving your audience. thanks for all the hard work =)
Another River Adventure that I enjoyed. Thanks, Beau.
I like that they wrote "bottle opener" on the bottle opener, I was really wondering what that strange thing might be.
LOL at that bundle of keys.
Great video Beau, I watch them all in their entirety
looks like another nice day on a river
ANOTHER COOL TRIP..I SURE ENJOYED IT. THANKS FOR TAKING US ALONG!
You haven't aged! Still enjoying your Playlist of all your past adventures! Thanks, Professor.

GL & HH
You passed up the Gatorade !!!! Lol.
+wackattack180 he paid the piper for drinking one last time remember
+wackattack180 I thought the same thing LOL
I bet that bunch of keys was some genius's way of making sure no one lost their keys. "Give 'am all to me, I'll make sure they don't get lost..."
its always fun to watch your treasure hunting on the river :) Thank you Sir
This is so exciting to watch
Congrats on having a new GoPro. It looks like it was fresh out of the box before it ended up in the river, those cases sure do a good job. I am very happy that you found the bracelet.
Don't be silly, Ofcourse we are gonna watch the full video.

great score and yes I watched the entire video and enjoyed every minute of it
Bringing all your keys on a rafting trip down the river....ROOKIE MOVE.
+goldsilverandiamonds I'm not so sure they'll be moving too far without the car keys though ...
Steven Hurt It's a lesson hopefully they only need to learn once.
+goldsilverandiamonds Yeah, I admit I did it at the beach once, my date was not impressed!

Well, you'll keep your wife (if you have one) happy with all the sunglasses as gifts for the anniversary man! Good finds, love these videos.

You should open up a glasses shop
this comment made me laugh!

Honestly, if I knew how to swim, I'd love to be able to get in the water and collect stuff like you do! Keep at it bro!
Great finds!!!
These videos you make are the best type of videos. 😊
Yes and hopefully you find even more.
Beau I think that silver ring, is what they call a "ring cuff". Looks very similar to the one I have. Wasn't a cheap one either. Love the videos!
I saw that style of bracelet on the soldiers in the documentary Restrepo. They memorialize the men who died in the Korengal Valley in Afghanistan.
don't know how I came across your channel but glad I did. love your videos looks like you have fun doing what you want KEEP IT UP!
That sticker on that otter box is happy tree friends look it up there so funny

Beau, You need to put more gravy on your taters. The extra ballast might help you in the strong current. ; )
Why do you not tell us about what happend with the thinks you found? Would be very interresting!
I watch every video I can find that you made or are making Chigger.
I am going to wait for you to find a GoPro Hero 7 before claiming it as mine. It is amazing that you said you found about six Hero 4's in that river, but thousands say they lost theirs in that exact river.

I cant believe the amount of gopros you find there worth at least 300 a piece.
