Beau, after Katrina in 2005, they were tearing down a damaged beach house in Pass Christian, MS that had always been listed as having been built in 1890. But when they got into the center of the house they found hewn timbers and rose head nails, so they stopped and called the state archeologist. The center of the house was a 1790s French or Spanish cottage. An addition was built around it in 1890, and that is when the property first appeared on insurance maps. I run into erroneous build dates on historic homes all the time!❤😂
The chimney is not attached to the house and as you can tell from the ground, there’s the top part off of the horse portion, and the part isn’t a lot of the heart isn’t connected to them to the home. Chimneys like that were left away from the house in case of a chimney fire they could push the top part off, and it wouldn’t burn the house down, I have seen that on houses as old as the 1700s also very prevalent on 19th century for houses especially little bungalows like this to be constructed this way.
Bet the piece with the copper outer and the black inside is a carbon arc rod. It’s used to weld dissimilar metals and is commonly used with a “tombstone welder“.
That bird at 14:20 looks a lot like a German Luftwaffe badge. Maybe it isnt, im not 100%. But it sure does look a lot like the eagle on the German insignias. Even kinda has a loop looking thing at the bottom where it would have held a swastika. Who knows 🤷🏻♂️
I'd suggest going back to using the AT Max chig , you did much better finding stuff . I know Garrett wants to sell the new machine but just my observation my friend
I wish I had a Garrett metal detector I've wanted one for a long time an still ain't got one an now they got all these new ones. Id like to have have of the yellow ace detectors. I use a old bounty hunter tracker 4 it's okay but it don't go as deep as I wish so in some areas it's hard to find good relics

that bullet is a ak -17 for a rifle they used them in the military from the 1970's-1990's.
the older house could have been destroyed and they reused the chimney when they rebuilt the house
