Lar Schlichting shows the new functions of the CDJ-900 (which are also included on the CDJ-2000s). Connect 4 CDJs together via USB, use a single memory card, hard drive, or ipod to hold all your tracks, and explore the new display and library functionality to sort by categorically by artist name, album name, or track name, with alphabetical, album, bpm, and date of release sortability within each category. It also saves a history of songs played, so if a previous set was rocking you can check out your playlist from that night days later. Color codes, tagging, waveforms, quantizing loops, MIDI controller functionality, and more, are all detailed as well

@arabmaan and also i have a cdj 2000 and this shows the waveform in 5 seconds when using cds what i would do is buy 1 cdj 900 and use it for only usb sticks to get a quick waveform display and id buy 1 cdj 2000 to get the waveform display if you like using cds it comes up very quick you also need to analyze your songs trough rekord box to get waveform when using usb sticks or hardrives

is it possible like in cdj 2000nxs2 play tracks by folder and inside a folder search by rating/ star system/ or will cd player show inside a folder tracks lined up by rating for example from 1 star to 5 star.

Where is the KEY information stored in the ID3 tags? I.E. will Rapid Evolution 3's key tagging work?

Hey. i recently started using the cdj 900's. I'm having problem's with the player displaying the wave forms. All my tracks have been analyzed in rekordbox, and the waveforms get displayed on the 2000's with all the memory points and stuff, but the 900's load the graph as the track is playin and not the minute I choose the track the way it does in the 2000. Any suggestions???

You need to prepare your music in Rekordbox. Then you get the waveform instantly when you load the track, but only the fixed one in the bottom of the screen.

when i entere in a playlist i want to see Artist - title. not just Title. can you tell me plsease how to do that. ?

I would use file name if you want to see Artist - Title

@arabmaan hi you will never get a reply by these pioneer reps . i will tell what is what with the cdj 900s yes their is a waveform when you use cds but it can slow on showing the wave form using cds. if you use usb it takes less than a second to show the wave form. but you want to use cd more than usb well in my opion it dosent matter if you use usb because its the exact same way you would use cd no difference expect you can have a few 100 songs on a usb stick.
