I love how Caeser wouldn’t let the apes kill the cops. Caeser knew that not all humans are evil. He saw the greatest side of humans like his adopted Father who raised him and loved him like a son and not a pet. A true leader like Caeser has compassion and only uses violence when necessary.

I always admired how Caesar never wanted to kill the humans in this trilogy, rather just break free from their rule. I never saw it as him being weak, but as Caesar actually being the bigger individual. Caesar was a great leader because he kept his eye on the actual goal, which was for his kind to be free from human rule. He only killed when it was absolutely necessary and he always did his best to not make things personal. In Dawn of the Planet of the Apes when Caesar and the other apes rencountered the humans he even tried to make peace with them rather than go to war, because he knew how devastating war could be for both the humans and the apes. A wise leader always searches for peace if it is possible rather than solve problems through violence. Caesar didn’t force the apes to hate the human race, he didn’t ask them to kill every single one of them (like Koba), he just thought about what was best for his kind. Caesar knew in order to be a higher species you must be better than the ones who abused you. I saw the trailer for the 4th movie and I’m so hyped for it! Tho it seems some apes have learned nothing from the humans and are beginning to act just like they did after becoming the dominant species. Hopefully this new character (who I believe is named Noa) will take after him and follow in his footsteps.

I like how Caesar splits the apes up. That shows how intelligent he is. Chimpanzees are known for being smart, but this is what would happen if they were as smart as us humans.
personally, i now consider this movie a classic and one of the greatest remakes/reboot of all time - how they remixed the original to focus on the ape instead of the man (Charlton Heston) in the original and still come up with an engaging story with deep connotations especially with today's events while creating one the most iconic recent characters in Caesar - in an almost dialogue free role is nothing short of astounding. I don't use the term classic lightly and that's probably why it's taken me 10 years to openly say that Rise of the Apes 2012 in my personal opinion is an absolute classic. The sequel Dawn of the Apes is arguably a better movie - I may be wrong but the way Rise of the Apes establishes itself and turned an unnecessary rehash into iconic and compulsive viewing that remains even more relevant than ever is nothing short of astounding!

Ceaser knew exactly how to out beat the humans because how he was able to win at chess at a young chimp age he was strategically sending his apes into battle pre positioning them in certain areas example Orangutans under the bridge as a counter strike strategy and sending a portion of the chimpanzees onto the top of the bridge for high ground coverage and then sending the gorillas as strong backs to move their cover which was the bus
but he stands no chance against a modern military. The apes were lucky the plaque spread faster if it didnt then humans can focus on eliminating them.

Apes like chimps, gorillas and orangutans are stupidly strong. In general, their build allows them to move faster than humans, not to mention they are not bipedal. They have the ability to walk on two legs, but they don't traverse their jungle habitats as humans would. They have incredible upper body strength, giving them the ability to climb trees and swing from branches. Not so much gorillas because they're so heavy, but they are simply a product of their environment.

This is one of my favorite battle scene in terms of strategy. Each ape group has a role; the gorillas (their strength to push the bus) and orangutan (long arms to swing under that bridge) were epic.
I liked when the gorilla pushed the boss out the way he was like out of my way this my job
The best way to learn from this movie is leadership quality by ceaser.

The best leaders aren't above their followers, they're on the same level as them. They uplift and support their followers, their friends, their loved ones, and they will gladly die to save just a single one of them.
That's my way of leadership, inspired deeply by Caesar. I can respect him because he's the best kind of leader by far.
(And I'm not bragging when I say this stuff, I'm obviously not a military leader or anything, I'm just saying if I was a leader this is how I would try to be.)
