    Dude! Dam I didn't think there would be that much snow there! We need a warm rain! Putting on my TSP relocation kit this weekend on the 22TE300I, will see how much more ripper she gets, stoked your digging the TBI! Gonna wait a year, mines still too new, even with 100hrs:)

    Absolutely fantastic video. Enlightening info, excellent riding, and refreshing editing. It'll be a shame if this doesn't get 100,000+ views. 💪😃👍

    Keep up the vids! Great to see the little things about the bike riders want to know. Thanks for making me a little less jealous of the coast living in the koots 🤘

    Nice, what you can’t see are all of the big roots on that trail hiding under the snow

    Do you have any more information regarding the update to the ECU for the 5 flashing light? Called dealer today and they said they haven't seen any updates from KTM yet.

    • @TechEnduro
      @TechEnduro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah it’s annoying. Dealers don’t get the map update bulletin unless is a recall. This is not, so they will only see the map when they plug the bike in to the computer.

    You running a Mouse, Tire balls or a tube here and what PSI did you use? I have a 23 300xc but havent put it in the woods yet. Just on my turn track at home. I mostly race MX and have a 23 450 for that but want to race some more XC stuff this year. So far I love this 23 300

    Thanks for all your videos. I could be mistaken, but I seem to recall KTM website listed the XC having 57HP but I don’t see that on the website anymore, does the bike have that much power, I wonder what’s the actual number? I’m curious have you had a chance to compare this bike to the Beta 300 RE either through yourself or friend, if so what are your thoughts, two beautiful bikes, one much easier to work on, any insight would be appreciated.

    • @TechEnduro
      @TechEnduro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure about KTM HP claim but those dyno numbers from my video are from vital MX, and I trust them. I have rode the beta, it was a few years old, I think a 21 model. I liked it but I’m spoiled with KTM’s counter balanced engine. It was hard for me to get over the vibrations, maybe with a lot of seat time I’d forget about it. Also I’m a tech nerd so TPI and TBI are fine by me even with some issues, I’m kinda over jetting.

    Did you hardwire the motominded start switch or was there a plug available?

    • @TechEnduro
      @TechEnduro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They had an option for an extra $18 but I had the switch from my 22 so I cut into the wires

  • @artsteale3443

    Running the hand guards the mount to the master cylinders is not a good idea if it takes a hard hit it will crack the master cylinder, I've seen it. Are you running snow without studs?

    • @TechEnduro
      @TechEnduro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To each and their own, some run none some full wrap to bar mounts🤷‍♂️
      I ran to the bar mounts on my last bike, the reason I switched is when I’d take hit I’d bend the metal sometimes or break the plastics. I run theses looser with plastic inserts under the mounting brackets, now when I hit they just move, dissipating the energy that way. Obv personal preference.
      Yup, snow without studs, doesn’t snow enough here.

    Great video hopefully when they come out with this new model in the off road xcw it will at least have a bigger stator .
    Unfortunately I think the reliability of a kick starter is gone for good.

    Do you feel like the extra power it has over a 300 TPI wears you out more in that terrain or gets harder to hang on to?

    • @TechEnduro
      @TechEnduro  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      not at all in the conditions I ride. A little more power when I need it to blip over a log or something saves me energy

    • @darinvanderpol3351
      @darinvanderpol3351 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for that. I'm pretty hot on one to replace my 300xcw tpi but I don't want too much power. I'm old and feeble and need my bikes to make things easier now. I ride similar terrain, I'm just below the border from you I think.

    Something you might need to know is to put a lot more oil on that air filter 🤔

    • @TechEnduro
      @TechEnduro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      🤣 I was waiting for that! The filter is actually very saturated, but it’s notoil oil so it ends up looking like it lightly sprayed sometimes.

      @noahr OK good. A buddy of mine just got a bike and he thought I was joking when I told him to put oil on his filter. He had no idea. Super important though. Ride safe
