kool vid, i had a losi micro crawler with a knackered gear box and one of these trucks sitting around with a knackered circuit board, i recently put my crawlers 2.4ghz reciever/esc combo and its bigger servo into my sct :) got one working losi micro out of 2 broke ones and the bonus of using my dx3c transmitter on it, i removed the top chassis plate though to aid cooling and better fitment of items, i run mine on 2s and the stock motor, gonna make some cardboard ramps then i can do ramp stuff while dad gets his out as well :)
Raycefan The brushless ones are fun as hell. I gave the brushed one to a buddy and he gave me a glow motor for a plane that in building. Theure a blast indoors. On the first I'll be getting the carbon graphite chassis for them.
Thats not how "C" ratings work. The math for finding the amp discharge ability of a LiPo works like this (Ah × "C" = Amps) So a 5000mAh 25c battery would work out like this (5Ah × 25c = 125Amps). Your 350 25c battery would work out to 8.75Amps constant with a max discharge of somewhere around 17.5Amps if that battery has a 50c max rating. The constant C rating is know so 8.75Amps is your constant.
stock is 13 I believe but after this video I added a metal 17 tooth because the brushed motor armature gets hot on 2s which is the highest the red can handle. it gets hot because unlike brushless where the wires are on the onside of the can with brushed the wires are wrapped on the armature causing the stock plastic to melt. There is also a problem with the brushless. The the magnet comes lose from the shaft. easy to fix if you know how to work on a brushless motor. just sand the shaft with sandpaper and it will then grab the magnet again. I also added some suoer glue.

I Used to have a brushless micro sct. I Loved it. Why did losi discontinue these? They sold really well.

If so get a brass pinion. The plastic pinion will melt from the heat caused by 2s on a brushed system.

the 2 here are fine but i melted a pinion on 2s in the house, it was doing tons of doughnuts and stuff though in a hot room :)

Do you have to enable lipo mode?
I didn't on any of these, I just watched the voltage to make sure it didn't drop below 3.2 volts per cell.

Try editing it down.
350mah @ 25C would be 8.75 amps not 2.5, and the 3S 180mah @ 40C would be 7.2 amps
