Wow, I didn’t know these buses existed. It’s a long time since I visited Gothenburg. We have to find a way to preserve one of these unique vehicles. Great video, thanks.
Great that we could show you these buses. Just so bad that they are soon to be gone forever
Great video! Sad that this buses now is gone! i have been in Gothenburg since i was a little boy! And as a bus nerd it is very sad in the heart.. Many memories is now gone.
It's incredible! The tram museum in Gothenburg will keep one of the buses! It's so good!
A nice video again! And a lovely old Volvo. It's sad to see them go... 😢
Thanks!! It’s a really great bus. They deserve to live longer
There are some city’s in Europe running 24 meter double articulated buses, they certainly are very good people movers. Sweden really must try and preserve one of these buses, especially as they are Volvo’s. , I liked the technical contribution from Tom Terjesen which helped to make video really interesting. Well done both of you.
Thanks for a very great comment! We really appreciate it!
We couldn’t agree more. If we could, we would have saved one of the future. The buses are 100% unique, and a big part of the Volvo history. I don’t think people will realize how much they will miss them until their gone. Luckily we have this film to never forget them 😊
Very nice! I was in Göteborg a month ago and was also fascinated by these buses. Sad to see them go.
How nice to hear. I’m glad you was able to see the buses one last time. They will be missed 😊
Väldigt bra video!! Love it!🤩 Jag kommer verkligen sakna dessa bussar😥
Nice!
We miss those buses!
@@bussmagasinet1 Same!
Bra video!
Excellent video but man, I feel so gutted that I never got the chance to ride or even see these vehicles in use. I only discovered their existance recently and they look great and seemed way more practical that I would imagine. Did Gothenburg replace these with other 24 meter buses by any chance?
Thanks for great feedback! These where truly great vehicles. I’m so glad Gothenburg kept one of them on a museum. Unfortunately they didn’t replace the buses with new 24 meter buses, but MB Capacity. Still cool buses, but not compared to the good old ones
Only three cities in the world known massively the Volvo B9S:
Gothenburg
Santiago
Sao Paulo
An era that never will forget.
That's so true! It's a unique construction!
@@veryperson6011That's true, but those 3 cities that I've mentioned used the B9S massively in BRT infrastructure.
Tallinn also but with single articulation
@@MDCrabTank Yes indeed, but, how many units had in Tallinn?
Nice interested video, very well explained!🙂
It makes me smile when I hear that Euro 5 buses are considered old, when from us, there are fleets of Euro 2 buses 😁
Västtrafik (Tranist Authority) has a limit set at 10 years for all buses in the County of Västra Götaland. Some of the 24 meter buses got a exemption, but as the new contract begins on sunday Volvo will deliver 150 electric buses. Adding to that there will be diesel and gas buses from Volvo, Mercedes and MAN
Thank you for the informations!
That’s very true. But Scandinavian bus operators has very strict rules for their buses. Soon, it’s only environmental friendly buses operating in these countries
What a classic bus, sad to see it going scrapped. Hope the replacement can give same experience with this. By the way that classic tram still exist.
It’s very sad to see the old buses go. Gothenburg has been very good to keep old material. Like this 24 meter buses, and the very old trams. They are very charming 😊
Video should have shown how to do reversing these buses ???
They never reverse with these buses, so that would have been unnecessarily :)
Ikke alltid like lett å låne busser, dessverre.
why does this look exactly like the one that was on test drive at helsinki line 550
Volvo has the same design
@@bussmagasinet1no but in the same livery too
@@bussmagasinet1 :D
Weź tym zawróć...
We would love to see them back!
