Panamanian Chicken Tamales 🇵🇦😋😋

Please excuse a few shakes of my camera I have a new camera holder and I was just getting use to it so please allow me a little grace 😊😊
1. Medium Onion
2. 1 pound of Goya corn kernels
3. 1 large red pepper and 1 large Green Pepper 1. Large yellow pepper
4. 1 large onion
5. 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
5. 7 medium size chicken thighs well seasoned and placed in the refrigerator overnight before cooking.
6. 2. Packet of Sazon Culantro & Achiote
7. 1/4 cup of a achiote oil
8. 1 small habanero peppers
9. Banana leaves
10. 1 and half cup plus 4 tablespoons of the liquid you cooked your chicken in . Put this to the side. Also put a little oil a side for when your building your tamales.
18 pieces. Or more buy 2 pounds to be sure. This recipe can make 13 nice size tamales . Don’t make to big I made that mistake if you it will be hard to wrap up.
14. Bottle of small capers
15. 1 bottle of olives
16. 4 large cloves of garlic
17. 2 cups of chicken stock or broth
18. String or twine for wrapping the tamales.
*After chicken is done make sure to add salt to taste
*please add a little more of the corn mixture when making your tamales I did not add a lot to the frist one you saw me make because I wanted all to see the delicious filling for our tamales . You want to add more so that when you fold over and wrap it will cover all of your tamale filling . All you will see is the corn mixture completely covering the whole thing. You will not be able to see the inside of your tamale untill you cut into it.
*When wrapping the tamales use two pieces of the banana leaf *

I’ve grind my corn on the food processor but it comes out too soft not like what you are showing. What do you think I’m doing wrong? Thank you for sharing 👍

How many tamales approximately does this recipe make?
I think 10 or 12 could be more if you make smaller ones
