I agree that Batgirl was unnecessary, Freeze should have been played more sympathetically with Batman and Batman SHOULD have been reacting more about Alfred. Having Poison Ivy use Robin against Batman could have been the catalyst for Batman not trusting Robin and Robin having to earn his trust again. That would have been interesting. But Uma totally nailed her role - undeniable. I quite enjoyed the campiness of this movie as a kid, but as an adult I see where it could have done more.
Tho I agree with your points, I think many people forget Batman and robin were very campy in there early design years, so the director for this movie wanted to capture that same feeling I guess in a more lighthearted fun way especially like the Adam west versions until Batman the animated series came out..then it went darker from there. Good video tho my dude keep it up 👍🏽
@alucard6946 I wouldn't even mind if they wanted to make a more light-hearted Batman movie every now and again. I mean Lego Batman is arguably one of the best Batman films and even the Burton films have plenty of over the top elements. But it shouldn't come at the expense of a good story, and appropriate characterisation. And it also shouldn't be set in the same continuity as a film series that was initially trying to be darker and more serious. I can definitely see why nowadays DC seem to be treating the Schumacher movies as a separate continuity considering they were already basically a reboot in everything but name. What really mystifies me is that the cancelled fifth film was supposed to feature Harley Quinn as a direct call back to Jack Nicholson's Joker. It just seems strange that they would have directly tied back into the first movie after two instalments that were essentially just doing their own thing.
@@stuartbarron7117 yeah I definitely understand that. I’ve always been confused about the continuity if everything was part of the same universe of time burton because it went from Micheal Keaton, to Val Kilmer to George Clooney lol, I like to think in my own head canon that they were in different universes with the same director.
It is a little weird I'll admit. TH-cam algorithm I suppose. Although La La Land actually isn't my best performing video. My video on The Last of Us Part 2 currently has almost 138,000, and also my Pinocchio video currently has 15,000. Outside of those, a few videos have a few thousand views here and there which I'm very proud of and I'm glad to see people are still watching. Even the videos that haven't done as well, I'm still quite proud of for making.
Yeah, I've watched a video about Babylon as well. It is as great as the abovementioned La La Land one. Idk why algorithms are so bad towards you. Hope at some point there will be more views

That's impressive how your video on La la land rocked it with 100k+ views and other videos are only below 1k views(

Enjoying your takes and agree.
it would've been better if in batman forever they'd cast milo ventimiglia instead of chris o'donnell and that's about the extent of my thoughts
Are you scottish or American or a mix? id like to know how your accent developed
I'm Scottish. The American in my voice is from years of exposure to American media.
@@stuartbarron7117 cool, do you live in Scotland?
