This is a slow wasteful process and needs workers to monitor, plus you have to cut the steel bars at cold heat which also wastes energy. There is a simpler way insert a long bar through the coil and heat it to required hi temperature then cut it while hot- soft with a blade press and the cut piece can fall into the hardening liquid.
