Awesome. For some reason this made me think of the 1964 book by Euell Gibbons titled Stalking the Blue-Eyed Scallop. In it he talks about foraging for clams, crabs, oysters, mussels, scallops, seaweed, kelp, etc. along the coast. I've never lived anywhere near the ocean, but it's a fascinating recipe book that always struck my imagination. His other foraging books are much more useful for me living in the interior of the country. Have a wonderful rest of your day, Kat!

I’ve never read his books but I’m sure there’s a lot to learn. We have the Backwoods Home books, as well as other good books for references. Hi Misha, It was an empty clam shell. The red building was a fish/bait house. It’s a place to store fish and for the fishermen and lobstermen to get in out of the elements when they get off their boats. I thought of you today 🤗 We went into the Cracker Barrel restaurant today for lunch! I had the chicken pot pie & cornbread. There was so much of it that I had to bring some home. I love the homey feeling and good food smells there 🙂 We don’t get out often to do this, so it was a nice change 😊 Thank you for stopping by! ♥️🙏🏼♥️
