That was the best and most in depth video I have ever seen on Quebec City. It is shot and edited so well with a great style to the camera movement and use of slo mo.
Staying 5 days in Quebec the third week in July for myself and 2 nieces. My mother was a LeDuc, father's side, and her mother was a Goulet. Our original ancestor settled in Tois Rivier. His name was Antoine LeDuc, from Louvetot, Normandy. Looking forward to seeing this beautiful city and surrounding areas. We're from Florida, South Carolina and Wisconsin.
Oh that’s so fun!! Trois-Rivières is great too, I lived there for about 6 years :) It’s a bit smaller but has great restaurants! Hope you have a great time!
I’ve been to QC 4 times. 2 times in winter during Carnival and 2 times in summer. The last time was the celebration of 400 anniversary of QC in 2007. I plan to come back soon.
Oh the 400th was quite the happening. Happy you got to experience it! And I haven’t been to the Carnaval in years, I hope you had a great time, I have great memories from my childhood 😊
Spent two weeks in Quebec City in 2007. I loved it. I love the many art galleries. Spent days wandering around the historic buildings, Plains of Abraham, watched the school children practicing the battles. I would live there in a heartbeat if the winters weren’t so cold and snowy.
beau vidéo! je cherchais quelque chose à montrer à mon ami du royaume uni et ton vidéo est parfait! je dirais que montrer le vieux Québec le soir est intéressant aussi!
I visited Quebec City for the first time during Christmas holidays. The city was amazing and I had such a great time. I missed out on some spots as I didn't know much about the places to visit but I'm definitely coming back in summer (hopefully, if restrictions ease-up). Amazing vlog!
Great video! I would like to visit at the end of November (only time I could get vacation), what is the weather like? Will it be decorated for holidays?
Hello Nancy, I’d say to bring warm clothes :) The German Christmas Market will start on November 21st this year and it’s amazing so you might be lucky enough to catch it during your visit ☺️ It’s all over the old town! The Petit Champlain is usually also pretty whimsical with twinkle lights during that period. Have a great time in Qc!
Thanks❤for this nice video and all explanations ❤❤❤I'm planning to visit this nice Province which is full of magic history❤ and beautiful infrastructure. I love it too much and really want to settle there because I feel like I could get inspiration, I'm author-writer 🎉❤❤❤

Love your video. Going to Quebec City in July for wedding anniversary. Should I stay at the Le Château Frontenac for the 3 nights there or are there better hotels?
Thank you! Depending on your budget there are many great options, in the downtown core I’d recommend the Chateau Frontenac, Auberge St-Antoine, Le Concorde, Chateau Laurier, Clarendon, Delta… they are all very well located.

Just bought some train tickets and going in July. Thanks for this great video! We will be sure to check these places. Any suggestions on what my 9 year old would be able to do there?
My husband and I just planned our first visit to Quebec this summer and I’m a little concerned about not being able to speak any French, will we have trouble communicating at the little café/restaurants?
It shouldn’t be an issue! Pretty much all the staff working at restaurants and shops in the downtown area speak English. Same thing at any touristy attractions like the Montmorency Falls :)
I’ll be in Quebec this April for 3 days, everything is set except for places to visit. I joined a walking tour guide too. Could you please give me an idea for a 3 day trip? I also want to go to Montmorency falls but the cheaper bus tour are sold out any suggestions please I don’t drive 😅
With 3 days I’d suggest exploring the downtown area. St-Jean Street, Place Royale, Terasse Dufferin & Château Frontenac, rue du Trésor, Grande-Allée, Carré d’Youville. For the Montmorency Falls it’s about a 15 mins drive from downtown so I’m sure you could grab a cab to and from there! Have a great time!
Hi! Great video, planning to go the first week of september. Can you give me an idea of how is the weather during those days? Typically? And how safe is Quebec? Let's say wanna walk late night. Thank you!!
Hi Alex! Quebec is very safe. In September the weather should be still warm. We usually get some heat waves during that month but I would also plan for some colder weather as it is also the beginning of Fall. Hope this helps :)
Walk around old Quebec City, go tubing at Village Vacances Valcartier and visit the Ice Hotel there as well. Go skiing/boarding at Mont-Ste-Anne. You can also slide on Terasse Dufferin at 1884. Enjoy Quebec 😊
Enjoyed your video. I am planning on visiting Quebec City in Sept/Oct. of this year. I am curious if there is a street or area of the town that has antique shops? It looks very European from the video's I have seen and I can't wait to explore. Thank you.
Hello Pamela thanks for the kind words! You will find some Antique shops in the lower town area on Saint-Paul street and Saint-Pierre street. Also in the Petit Champlain :)
Yes I suggest you try the Corridor du Littoral that way you can get to the Montmorency Waterfalls, the Promenade Champlain and the Aquarium. It follows the St. Lawrence River, it’s beautiful!
