Walbro actually has a plant in Tianjin, China. It seems like the pro model already has many of the upgrades a lot of people recommend on doing to the standard versions.
I just ordered one of these to mate with a 36" bar and an Alaskan mill. Plan on milling some hardwood slabs to eventually turn into tabletops. You got a much better deal than me, I ended up paying just under $500 after taxes ordering from Amazon.
@@Man-Time I ordered a Stihl chain tensioner and a better oiler for it as well, they seem to be some of the weak links in these saws from the research I've done. I still think it's going to be very worth it as long as it doesn't give me any major issues!
You did fine, I ordered when you did. Holtzforma's shipping was over $100, after fees it was much closer. I went with Amazon to get their warranty and transaction simplicity.
I only have 1 clone and that's likely my limit but I do think they have a place in everyone's saw collection as long as you don't mind wrenching on saws, upgrading some parts to OEM and aren't depending solely on one to to make a paycheck...
Just for fun you make it 98cc with a dome piston really make it pop put cheap Chinese cylinder highway piston with caber rings on a 066 with a red light from the 90s have fun with it .
I will tell you you need to really look into a neotec. Neotec has a better build quality and they offer some pro upgrades. I jave no dislike for any clone if it works and does the job. Grease the base of the airfilter ,these clone air filters are garbage,,go get a max flow oil air filter kit.. Beotec comes with a better tool kit dir sure.
Yeah I got a great deal on this one. But I have a neotec stihl spare parts kit that has saved me a few times. The tools kit is very nice. I can’t speak to the saws they make
You and your bob the builder tools Have already said this saw is junk so why even buy it If you want a stihl then buy it and stop bitching if you are looking for a Lincoln you don’t buy a pinto

Been running a 42” bar for milling on this saw, i also opened it up a bit for performance, its still running to this day
That baffle is there for a reason!! Diffuser. You need a pre filter on that hard filter.

I did get a really good deal. I like mine and it’s been good to me so far. Best of luck

Those are the things that I want to upgrade also. I did replace the fuel line to the carb as mine was leaking
Which OEM Model parts are direct fit? 660 or 066?@@generalkayoss7347

I have a g660 pro good saw's. With some work they wake up big time. I threw the piece under the filter away and its not had any problems.

Agreed
The 660 is the best model they have cloned. I won’t waste my money on any of the others. My 660 clone has been ok for when needing to run a 36” bar.
Agreed. It’s a pig to lug around and a bit of a gas hog, but pulls that 36” pretty good.
When you order from Farmertec,
was there any import duty to worry about
or shipping they charge for later?
No additional fees for me in the US
Do you use echo red armour 2 stroke oil mate
Yes @ 40:1
