For the record, as one of your audience members, I'm a late 20s married mom who likes to think for herself about how to raise her family and form her values and live her life. I don't have any role models showing up for me even though I've been intentional with multiple women in my church to show me how they do it. I've always been a "too much" person for people too. I watch you BECAUSE of how much you are, even if I don't always agree with you (which doesnt happen often). It's so much more fun and interesting to engage with. BUT I also appreciate how you protect your kids online and don't do nonstop influencer videos about your "mental health," or whatever just for the parasocial clicks.

Most of our food is from scratch, but not cinnamon rolls. Every Sunday is cinnamon rolls or croissants fro. A can. Know who does it best and let them do it! I never comment on TH-cam videos, but I just wanted to say that I have been watching your channel for years and find you so inspiring. The timing of this video was perfect for me, I left a gathering yesterday feeling crappy about myself and really needed this reminder. I'm slowly (very slowly...) learning to accept that I can't please everyone, and to just be ok with the fact that not everyone is going to like me.

I don't usually comment on videos but on this one I had to because it brought me to tears. I have told my husband for years that I am exhausted from being told that I am "too much" for people. It hit me in the gut to have one of the mamas I admire most literally say the same things I have felt for a long time. Thank you for your thoughts on this - bring on the real Angie!! Oh, Angie, I feel your pain! We bought a house that was built in 1977, and when I was 7 months pregnant we had to go for weeks without any running water because tree roots had grown into our pipes. The plumbers had to lay all new line from our house to the street. It was ridiculous. But as my mom would say, "It made a memory!"

I totally get it. in this space here on youtube it can be so hard to be authentically you. it's so easy to fear what others may think or say. and I totally get it with the kid content and whether or not to show them much. I LOVE watching other families interact, and yet I so understand it as well, because it's been something I've really struggled with on my own channel- whether to show my children or not. as they get older, they often just don't want to be on as much, so some of that just happens naturally. but I know I finally just made the decision to go private on my IG account because I was so sick of waking up in the morning to weirdo's that had randomly started following me. Anyways. I too was an 80's child- pretty sure we are the same age- and I get overwhelmed by it all too and have to take random moments of silence. haha!! keep on keeping on- you are a real encouragement!! I LOVE your content and I love the laughs you provide as well!
We just bought a house this year and after two weeks of living in it, we had the exact problem as you. It came out onto our carpeted downstairs area. Yeah, it was as lovely as it sounds. We had tree roots in our line as well. It is all fixed now and we have awesome new carpet and such. But it was terrible! I hope everything gets resolved quickly for you! I stumbled upon your channel when I started homeschooling my daughter two years ago and I can not begin to describe how encouraging you are to me. I appreciate your journey and your willingness to share with us what you have learned along the way. Keep doing what you have been doing, I come here because you are real. Don’t change a thing! My now deceased cat caused many a fight with my late boyfriend and I because I would give him heck for leaving the fridge door ajar and it was our cat the whole time! That same cat loved all kinds of weird food too like peanut butter, potato chips and popsicles :) oh no shower flood and septic issues sound horrible! I grew up waaay before the internet!

I have one kiddo, we didn’t homeschool and while we have a tiny farm of 2 horses, 2 cows, 2 dogs and a cat, I really don’t have a lot to do with those animals. They aren’t my thing but are my hubs and daughters. Despite that I’m super different, I really like your channels! You’ve inspired me to garden a bit more, I love your recommendations, your wit, etc. Keep doing what you are doing! I so understand you! I’m a nurse and spend my days on the phone. I love 90% of my patients but the rest are hard to deal with for various reasons. It makes me not like my job as much as I should! I have a phone voice too!
This made me so sad because it’s so true how it often feels like the few whack “mean for the sake and being mean” people often have the loudest voices … and I think people forget that you are a real person with real feelings💛🥺all I can say is thank you for showing up, knowing that you are opening yourself up to negativity every time. YES!! I’m also “too much” for people sometimes and a lot of it has to do with my emotions and my sensitivity to things (especially things I’m passionate about) and I’m still learning how to not let it affect me. My videos on my channel are mostly about my journey when it comes to my chronic pain (it’s mostly so I can just talk about it) and word vomit too so you doing it doesn’t bother me one bit. ❤️ I look forward to more of your videos. I bought a trash can that locks from Walmart. We couldn't keep our large dogs from going trash surfing. It works perfect! From someone who lives in Texas, everyone has to be extra cautious because there are alot of disturb people in the World. You're doing a fantastic job protecting your beautiful family. The timing of this video was perfect for me, I left a gathering yesterday feeling crappy about myself and really needed this reminder. I'm slowly (very slowly...) learning to accept that I can't please everyone, and to just be ok with the fact that not everyone is going to like me.

My life and your life are quite different, yet you remind me of myself when I was your age in how you tackle projects and how you think. I love that your videos aren't "produced" and you come across as "real". You make us feel like you are a friend or neighbor that has invited us into your life.

I don't usually comment on videos but on this one I had to because it brought me to tears. I have told my husband for years that I am exhausted from being told that I am "too much" for people. It hit me in the gut to have one of the mamas I admire most literally say the same things I have felt for a long time. Thank you for your thoughts on this - bring on the real Angie!! You will be too much for some people, those people aren't your people.

Oh, Angie, I feel your pain! We bought a house that was built in 1977, and when I was 7 months pregnant we had to go for weeks without any running water because tree roots had grown into our pipes. The plumbers had to lay all new line from our house to the street. It was ridiculous. But as my mom would say, "It made a memory!"

I'm 65 with grown kids and wish your channel had been around when I was younger! Homeschooled my kids all the way through, had a big garden and many animals on 3 acres. So proud of you, woman! Keep your chin up or the crown slips! 💜

I totally get it. in this space here on youtube it can be so hard to be authentically you. it's so easy to fear what others may think or say. and I totally get it with the kid content and whether or not to show them much. I LOVE watching other families interact, and yet I so understand it as well, because it's been something I've really struggled with on my own channel- whether to show my children or not. as they get older, they often just don't want to be on as much, so some of that just happens naturally. but I know I finally just made the decision to go private on my IG account because I was so sick of waking up in the morning to weirdo's that had randomly started following me. Anyways. I too was an 80's child- pretty sure we are the same age- and I get overwhelmed by it all too and have to take random moments of silence. haha!! keep on keeping on- you are a real encouragement!! I LOVE your content and I love the laughs you provide as well!
We just bought a house this year and after two weeks of living in it, we had the exact problem as you. It came out onto our carpeted downstairs area. Yeah, it was as lovely as it sounds. We had tree roots in our line as well. It is all fixed now and we have awesome new carpet and such. But it was terrible! I hope everything gets resolved quickly for you!

My now deceased cat caused many a fight with my late boyfriend and I because I would give him heck for leaving the fridge door ajar and it was our cat the whole time! That same cat loved all kinds of weird food too like peanut butter, potato chips and popsicles :) oh no shower flood and septic issues sound horrible! I grew up waaay before the internet!

I have one kiddo, we didn’t homeschool and while we have a tiny farm of 2 horses, 2 cows, 2 dogs and a cat, I really don’t have a lot to do with those animals. They aren’t my thing but are my hubs and daughters. Despite that I’m super different, I really like your channels! You’ve inspired me to garden a bit more, I love your recommendations, your wit, etc. Keep doing what you are doing! I found your channel when I started working from home in the pandemic and needed some background noise and I have come to really look forward to your videos. God bless!

I so understand you! I’m a nurse and spend my days on the phone. I love 90% of my patients but the rest are hard to deal with for various reasons. It makes me not like my job as much as I should! I have a phone voice too!
This made me so sad because it’s so true how it often feels like the few whack “mean for the sake and being mean” people often have the loudest voices … and I think people forget that you are a real person with real feelings💛🥺all I can say is thank you for showing up, knowing that you are opening yourself up to negativity every time. We appreciate and do not take it for granted because the day you decide to leave TH-cam I hope that I, as a content watcher, could have added been part of the voice that made you feel loved and appreciated because you show up for people you never ever met and that’s huge 💛

YES!! I’m also “too much” for people sometimes and a lot of it has to do with my emotions and my sensitivity to things (especially things I’m passionate about) and I’m still learning how to not let it affect me. My videos on my channel are mostly about my journey when it comes to my chronic pain (it’s mostly so I can just talk about it) and word vomit too so you doing it doesn’t bother me one bit. ❤️

Perfectly clean homes, homemade meals, exquisite gardens, and model looks. I love your reality. People live in the homes, messes happen, sometimes homemade isn't possible, weeds grow, and some days you just don't feel like dressing up for the red carpet. I was brought up on a farm and so enjoy seeing the animals, love watching your children grow and learn, and love hearing your stories. You are hilarious. Please never change or allow the negative Nellies of the world to hold you back. Bring it on!
I bought a trash can that locks from Walmart. We couldn't keep our large dogs from going trash surfing. It works perfect!
