Great question! When you're renting, you're paying someone else's mortgage. Buying allows you to build equity. It’s a nice place but don’t come if you’re looking for above average pay wages because it’s a Right to Work State.. Property Insurance is very expensive and also car insurance because Florida is a No fault State. It’s real hot and sticky ( even at night) in late May all the way up to middle September and early October.. The beaches are ok but not great IMO. However if you decide that you want to go into the water make sure you shuffle feet as you’re walking because there’s plenty of Sting Rays that bury themselves in the sand along the shoreline and occasional school of small jellyfish that travel through but other than that like most places it’s what you make it.

Weigh up the pros and cons before moving to anywhere in the Sunshine State. like anywhere you move to, you will have to deal with the pros and cons. the cons outweigh the pros, in my opinion about living in Florida. Florida is mostly flat with a lot of swamps and bugs. traffic is a nightmare in large metro areas like Tampa Bay due to a high population that makes Florida the 3rd most populous state in the nation behind CA and TX. crime rate is high in large metro areas and wages are low. the biggest employer is the hospitality industry because Florida is tourist destination. sinkholes are very common because Florida is below sea levels. Florida also has a very high percentage of smokers, so you will notice that anywhere you go in the state.

Global warming isn’t even real. And it’s usually just 88-95 degrees everyday from May to end of September. Near the beach. It gets hotter in tampa as you aren’t as close to the ocean.
