I started this and was making about 25-30g an hour. I still thought that was good . When I got the route down and started selling the superior potions, blinding powder, a small increase in selling the star Ruby on AH I got 50g my last hour run without killing any bosses. I can say I’m getting 35-45g an hour regularly now. Still worth it imo
@SteadyChasin MoneyBags it's not broken, you just have to move away from them when you use it or else their hot box is in yours, and they detect you automatically. It was always like that, I promise.
I don't see how it is a chill farm though, it's literally the farm I had to be the most focused to do yet. Cleaning mobs is way more chill in my opinion
I've done this for about 130 hours now, got exalted with Ravenholdt using the Junkboxes (probably opened over 5,000 of them). I think actual gold per hour is about 35, perhaps the active time is the difference maker here. It also seems that the rare epic items simply aren't available in the Heavy Junkboxes this time round, I've been speaking to other rogues who have also opened several thousand of them and no one yet seems to have looted one.

I'm sure if the time inbetween each pickpocket didn't exist then his numbers would be accurate, but if you're looking at the clock instead of an in-game stopwatch, it isn't. I find killing Pyromancer Loregrain and Plugger Spazzring each run will up your g/h to about 40-50 however if you learn how to beat each encounter perfectly.
I started this last night and made just about 30g in an hour. I was still getting used to it and honestly wasted a LOT of time. I can see how easily you can get to 50g per hour once you get in the zone. Thanks for the tip! Hopefully I'll have my epic mount AND my Krol Blade in 2-3 days
i didn't get the results you did with this on classic. i get resisted way too easily and vanish very rarely helps. i think maybe its their battle shout that prevents vanish? anyway this video was funny and your other videos are great.
Also a great tip for you rogues make sure you strip all your gear off to avoid the repair bill whenever you get pickpocket resisted and killed by the mobs and whenever you go back into the dungeon after the corpses run you can keep repeating the pickpocket on the same mobs again. Nope the only time i get 45 is doing the circle which is like 1 min 50. Besides thats like counting extremely rare drops as it doesnt represent the average

I'm level 60 and they seen me in stealth so the "they don't see you in stealth as long as you are 60" just isn't true. Then they of course resisted my vanish and now I'm dead lol. Anything other than that it's a great guide. :D :D shoulda known better than to farm near elites though.
Yo Benji, is there any trick to not get hit out of vanish? If one of the arena spectators resists your PP I add so many mobs that I get hit out of vanish fucking immediately after you press it.

TH-camrs are talking about BoE items from lockboxes that drop as loot for everyone, not the kind only rogues can pickpocket. The kind only we can get are absolute dog shit. The ones that drop as loot for everyone almost always contain at least a green BoE. Like just today I had a guy I opened 10 lockboxes in a row (cheap bastard only tipped me 5s per box). He get better loot from those 10 boxes than I've gotten from the 100+ rogue only boxes I've looted while leveling this character. The only things I ever get from rogue-only boxes are small amounts of silver and a few reagants for poison stuff. Also you might want to mention this is BRD. Those who have never done the dungeon before would have no idea what this is by sight.
Has this been stealth nerfed? I watched this video a couple of days ago and finally got me amped up to respec sub. Did it, everything went well. Day 1: Over 30 star rubies were pick pocketed. Day 2 - Day 10: Not even 30 were pick pocketed in this time overall. Sooo, I feel like this was definitely stealth nerfed on the drops. It's NOWHERE near close to 60g an hour without those being as common as they were, but I still got my epic mount here and another 400g and will be going back after raids finished for the week tonight too. I don't have addons or the like, but I'd estimate I get around 33 - 40(not often on the high end of this) gpm.

Did something change in the short period since this guide was made? I no longer seem to get any star rubies from mobs in BRD. Granted I only did this particular route (which is so very relaxing, so thanks for it) for a couple of hours, but didn't see a single Star Ruby, and they seem to make up a fair chunk of what makes the route profitable. Before the Dire Maul release I used to get a few at least.

Hey bro, great vid - question - I'm level 60 and I literally cant make it past 1 or 2 of the ring of law groups without being resisted. As a result the majority of my time is spent waiting for Vanish cd. What am I doing wrong ?
It's just luck. Though to be honest I have a "gut feeling" that some mobs are just random rolled to be super resistant to pickpocketing so if it keeps happening just reset the dungeon or put a marker on the ones that tend to resist and skip them.
Did this get nerfed or something? It feels like I get resisted so much. Ran it for about half a day and it just doesn't feel worth it. Can anyone comment with opinions?
@@unaddan Around there. Nothing close to 60g / hr. Usually will get resisted twice just in the ring of law. Sometimes I'll get lucky and not get any resists in the ring but most of the time I get at least 1 or 2. I'd like to know some others experiences too.
Same for me. Getting way too many resists. WIthouth preparation being PvE specced, this is just painful waiting for vanish cd to come back up. Died so many times tonight.

Heyo thanks, I like my new home. I did it with a lvl 59 today without any issues and one resist in about 1,5h (combat spec). While killing the patreons the [Libram of Voracity] dropped as well as massive amounts of potions. Feels like heaven tbh. :)
I tried again without using the automatic pickpocketing macro where it targets the nearest mob for you and manually targeted each mob at a time and it seems to drastically reduce the amount of resists. Again may just be my rng but this works fine without the macro
@@spacepianos u are actually right. I can confirm. Its far less resist fuck fest when i am manually targeting compared to pickpocket macro. I think what happens is it pick pockets several times in a row before opens a window and that is ridiculously increasing our chances.
@@iamlevik tab works as well. I think the problem with macro is that they can ressist you even if they have been pocketed as it occured once for me and you are kind of pocketing them several times at once with macro since u are spaming it. I find the clicking just works as fast and when i jave 2 near each other i use tab to quickly target then pocket.
I managed to get an entire perfect hour with no downtime from cds and here are my results: Raw gold: 32,7 Vendoring: 6,8 3 Star Rubies: 1,5 1 Aquamarine: 0,8 on my server 33 Superior Healing Potions (currently 20s each on my server): 6,6 4 Major Healing Potions (1,25 each on my server): 5 Total: ~53,4g from one hour of farming Pretty good. There were of course periods of 30 seconds to 1 minute per lap where I opened boxes because I was waiting for the resets, and then the time it took after the hour was over where I was running to the vendor and back. You'd also have to go to a mailbox once every few hours on top of this. But even with all this I'd say that 50g+ per hour is absolutely possible with the prices on my server. You occationally get unlucky and have to wait for cds but I've discovered that it doesn't really happen THAT often once you start spending tens of hours doing this, and when it happens you can just continue since even if you die it will take the same amount of time to run back. I do this without any gear on aside from minor speed enchanted boots. You can manage to optimize things like opening boxes or running to the merchant when you get downtime from cds as well. Although 60g per hour might not be realistic in terms of real time (and is not supposed to be as Benji himself has said) without a lot of luck, I think around 50g is. If you do it well I think even without much luck or good prices you should still be able to average 40-45g per hour in not just active play but in terms of real time. Thanks for the route Benji, I like it a lot.
And in comparison I just did a run with a lot of resist that even got me killed twice over an hour. If I take this opportunity to count a very low estimate of the gold per hour I come to the result of 35,3g + Major Health Potions if I would vendor the (three) star rubies and superior healing potions. So anyone despite any prices or occational bad luck should be able to get a very good rate doing this route. By the way, during this hour I actually got 10 major pots, which would make the end the result on most servers around 45g. And this is with terrible luck regarding the resists. Even if I had only gotten say 3, which is probably below average, and the price on the server was low, the end result would still be around 37-38g. Let me reiterate that this is the LOWEST (reasonable) estimate I can come up with, with any luck on any front you should be able to get more if you do it as effeciently as I am. I'd say that this route and goldmaking method is very good considering how incredibly reliable and consistent it is with an estimated g/h of 35-60 (60+ being what I would have made on my perfect run if I had a few more major health pots drop, like during this second run). I don't think many other solo methods available to rogues can compete. Sure, doing open world farms can get you very rich if you're lucky, but they have an equal or greater possibility of getting you almost nothing in return for your time. Especially now during P2 where the open world is chaotic.

please explain to me how resist works. i am resisted too often and end up dying. prep/2vanish isn't enough does resist lower with hit gear? spell hit gear? certain talents? Please help
this doesnt work for me, the pickpocket resist chance seems to be around 2%, which means it will happen about once every 20 minutes, but problem is, very often mobs bug and when i vanish, they ignore it and simply attack me out of vanish, and kill me, making it overall very frustrating and rng
Often the mobs attack me thorugh vanish and often I even PREP and vanish again and they still attack me. I have boots with improved stealth and full master of deception and camuflage...
Sprint away from the mobs, face away, and use a vanish macro that has /stopattack before the /cast vanish This was a big problem in actual vanilla. Sometimes the mobs autos will hit you as you vanish and remove it, and sometimes the server tick just lags awfully and it won't work before its broken again. :|
When you are 60 your stealth level is 300, with one point of MoM it increase to 303. If you put 5 points is +15, with that you will need lv 58 for 305 stealth level or lv 57 for 300 stealth. Also for activate the door you need level 57 or 58 depending the level of the mobs that spawn. If there are 51 you can do it with 57 if they are 52 you need 58. If you want to do it with 57 and a 52 appear just go outside and reset the instance, the mobs can change. Also try to increase your hit rate if you are low level, because it affect the chance of pickpocket.
@@leandroesperanza8853 Don't give bullshit information. Hit chance makes no difference to pick pocket chance. It's a baseline 5%. Also stealth level makes no fucking difference apart from avoiding the dogs that you need to stealth close to. You can also use Nightscape Boots along with the 5 points. Haven't tried it below 60, probably wouldn't advise it, but I'm sure it'd work.

I always went to Stilgiss boss to open the boxes as a lvl 57 i can open 8 of them without aggro and it drops things that you can vendor at 1 gold the fourth time i did that i looted the Rogue Bis pre raid bracers BoE at the auction house its selling 80 gold the bracer

Started at 765g and was at 800g after 45 mins, so this is very good even if you aren't hitting 60 gph. That was with 1 death, and I've only been resisted a few times @ 60.
No, I'd go against it. As long as you mob grind, you'll be leveling AND making gold from drops. Why pickpocket which gets you no exp at all at level 40?
Can kill the fire guards pretty easy for essence or even elemental fires both run for about 4g per on my server. Sub rogues should easily be able to kill them with coldblood burst even at low gear levels. Dont skip these, they are free gold and will sell if you server has any kind of pve guilds on them. Elemental fires are use in fire protection pots which are constantly used in MC and BWL. Fire Essence is used in transmutes by many alch user in fire to earth because earth is generally the more rare of the two and is used in many patterns like robes of the archmage, titanic leggings, or the 3% hit scope for hunters.

Wouldnt it be better to run this route naked with gear in your bags? If the double resist happens and you die.. your gear wont suffer and neither will your gold due to repairs
I just don't know how you get to 45g/hr just with silver. I have the right spec and the boots and can never seem to exceed 30-35g/hr and that is without going all the way to the vendor..
Most honest wow classic gold farm guide for rogues. The outro was an excellent exercise in channeling your inner RPness... Coupled with proof of concept that one fateful GarrlessMC run that you do have a natural nack for such commentary/voice over. The spider king legacy will not be forgotten as many will recall that day 1 release.

Well, at this moment I have no other things to do outside of guild MC + Onyx run (Which is once a week, Onyx sometimes 2). So yeah, 50g a week aint much if you actively farm over the week.

Refer to 4:42 Once you sell/auction, it averages out to 60g/hr. Hope that helps.

Are you using a macro for pickpocketing? It seemed so fast compared to targeting then the pickpocket button.

While killing the patreons the [Libram of Voracity] dropped as well as massive amounts of potions.

I tried again without using the automatic pickpocketing macro where it targets the nearest mob for you and manually targeted each mob at a time and it seems to drastically reduce the amount of resists. Again may just be my rng but this works fine without the macro
@@spacepianos u are actually right. I can confirm. Its far less resist fuck fest when i am manually targeting compared to pickpocket macro. I think what happens is it pick pockets several times in a row before opens a window and that is ridiculously increasing our chances.

@@iamlevik tab works as well. I think the problem with macro is that they can ressist you even if they have been pocketed as it occured once for me and you are kind of pocketing them several times at once with macro since u are spaming it.
I find the clicking just works as fast and when i jave 2 near each other i use tab to quickly target then pocket.
I managed to get an entire perfect hour with no downtime from cds and here are my results:
Raw gold: 32,7
Vendoring: 6,8
3 Star Rubies: 1,5
1 Aquamarine: 0,8 on my server
33 Superior Healing Potions (currently 20s each on my server): 6,6
4 Major Healing Potions (1,25 each on my server): 5
Total: ~53,4g from one hour of farming
Pretty good. There were of course periods of 30 seconds to 1 minute per lap where I opened boxes because I was waiting for the resets, and then the time it took after the hour was over where I was running to the vendor and back. You'd also have to go to a mailbox once every few hours on top of this. But even with all this I'd say that 50g+ per hour is absolutely possible with the prices on my server. You occationally get unlucky and have to wait for cds but I've discovered that it doesn't really happen THAT often once you start spending tens of hours doing this, and when it happens you can just continue since even if you die it will take the same amount of time to run back. I do this without any gear on aside from minor speed enchanted boots. You can manage to optimize things like opening boxes or running to the merchant when you get downtime from cds as well. Although 60g per hour might not be realistic in terms of real time (and is not supposed to be as Benji himself has said) without a lot of luck, I think around 50g is. If you do it well I think even without much luck or good prices you should still be able to average 40-45g per hour in not just active play but in terms of real time. Thanks for the route Benji, I like it a lot.
And in comparison I just did a run with a lot of resist that even got me killed twice over an hour. If I take this opportunity to count a very low estimate of the gold per hour I come to the result of 35,3g + Major Health Potions if I would vendor the (three) star rubies and superior healing potions. So anyone despite any prices or occational bad luck should be able to get a very good rate doing this route. By the way, during this hour I actually got 10 major pots, which would make the end the result on most servers around 45g. And this is with terrible luck regarding the resists. Even if I had only gotten say 3, which is probably below average, and the price on the server was low, the end result would still be around 37-38g. Let me reiterate that this is the LOWEST (reasonable) estimate I can come up with, with any luck on any front you should be able to get more if you do it as effeciently as I am. I'd say that this route and goldmaking method is very good considering how incredibly reliable and consistent it is with an estimated g/h of 35-60 (60+ being what I would have made on my perfect run if I had a few more major health pots drop, like during this second run). I don't think many other solo methods available to rogues can compete. Sure, doing open world farms can get you very rich if you're lucky, but they have an equal or greater possibility of getting you almost nothing in return for your time. Especially now during P2 where the open world is chaotic.

this doesnt work for me, the pickpocket resist chance seems to be around 2%, which means it will happen about once every 20 minutes, but problem is, very often mobs bug and when i vanish, they ignore it and simply attack me out of vanish, and kill me, making it overall very frustrating and rng
Let them hit couple times while running away, and vanish after that.
I heard vanish has 10% fail
Macro /stopattack to your /cast vanish and make sure to sprint and face away from the mobs. When it fails, prep, and vanish again. T_T

Often the mobs attack me thorugh vanish and often I even PREP and vanish again and they still attack me. I have boots with improved stealth and full master of deception and camuflage...
Sprint away from the mobs, face away, and use a vanish macro that has /stopattack before the /cast vanish
This was a big problem in actual vanilla. Sometimes the mobs autos will hit you as you vanish and remove it, and sometimes the server tick just lags awfully and it won't work before its broken again. :|
Wanted to ask, what is the lowest level to do this? Do you have to be 60, or is there a way for lower levels, like 58ish ~
When you are 60 your stealth level is 300, with one point of MoM it increase to 303. If you put 5 points is +15, with that you will need lv 58 for 305 stealth level or lv 57 for 300 stealth. Also for activate the door you need level 57 or 58 depending the level of the mobs that spawn. If there are 51 you can do it with 57 if they are 52 you need 58. If you want to do it with 57 and a 52 appear just go outside and reset the instance, the mobs can change. Also try to increase your hit rate if you are low level, because it affect the chance of pickpocket.
@@leandroesperanza8853 Don't give bullshit information. Hit chance makes no difference to pick pocket chance. It's a baseline 5%.
Also stealth level makes no fucking difference apart from avoiding the dogs that you need to stealth close to. You can also use Nightscape Boots along with the 5 points. Haven't tried it below 60, probably wouldn't advise it, but I'm sure it'd work.

It's easy afk / lazy / safe gold, so overtime you'll make it, but it's gonna take time investment. It's not a get rich quick farm.

So much easier than the other guy’s brd guide where it requires killing 2 bosses. Not to mention I had to carefully prepare for the fight and 80% of the time I’d die ruining my run.

You will get resisted WAY more often as it is based on your level VS theirs when it rolls the chance.

Any of them, but Chimeras are like 200g / hr during AQ event.
Started at 765g and was at 800g after 45 mins, so this is very good even if you aren't hitting 60 gph. That was with 1 death, and I've only been resisted a few times @ 60.

No, I'd go against it. As long as you mob grind, you'll be leveling AND making gold from drops. Why pickpocket which gets you no exp at all at level 40?

Being an ash whole I goad ppl into running instances for xp and gear, I think they've caught on that I have really bad rolls, so they always join..
Can kill the fire guards pretty easy for essence or even elemental fires both run for about 4g per on my server. Sub rogues should easily be able to kill them with coldblood burst even at low gear levels. Dont skip these, they are free gold and will sell if you server has any kind of pve guilds on them. Elemental fires are use in fire protection pots which are constantly used in MC and BWL. Fire Essence is used in transmutes by many alch user in fire to earth because earth is generally the more rare of the two and is used in many patterns like robes of the archmage, titanic leggings, or the 3% hit scope for hunters.

Wouldnt it be better to run this route naked with gear in your bags? If the double resist happens and you die.. your gear wont suffer and neither will your gold due to repairs

I just don't know how you get to 45g/hr just with silver. I have the right spec and the boots and can never seem to exceed 30-35g/hr and that is without going all the way to the vendor..

Like 20% less due to the movement speed. I say it's "actively playing" in the video so that means time spent afk waiting on vanish doesn't count.

Well, at this moment I have no other things to do outside of guild MC + Onyx run (Which is once a week, Onyx sometimes 2). So yeah, 50g a week aint much if you actively farm over the week.

No it's just bad luck. I see resists in clusters too, but other times you get none for 10-20 minutes.
