Just used Vanish for 8 hours of farming BRD last night. I've had a few bad vanish batches earlier in my leveling (which happened in vanilla too), but never anything like in that video. The other issues are negligible, never seen the gouge one, and the CS one is actually beneficial, if not inconsistent. Point being, it's about as buggy as vanilla was, but nothing we can't work around until they decide to make some tweaks. I agree, feign is broken. I stopped playing my hunter because of it.
I have no idea why I watch all these gold guides. I haven't played in something like eight years and unfortunately have no time to commit. But somehow I keep watching g these.
1 problem with this run. If you DON'T hit that lock there is a jump skip you can do when you go out of the window (right where the locked door would be) enabling you to get over the door without hitting the lock. Now here is why this is important. After you have finished the quest inside the bar from the Succubus woman (The quest she gives you), you can tell her to go somewhere private with the dwarf guy, this will then open the Bar door. After killing the bartender, you then walk out the bar door, jump down to where Incendius is, then make your way BACK towards the front of the instance, and since you didn't hit the lock, the massive gate will be OPEN. This enables you to pickpocket MANY easy packs on the way out, right to the front of the instance. No need to have an alt in party, you can reset the instance yourself.
There are some spots you missed. You might wanna heart this so other rogues can get this tip as well, this is all stuff I learned from private servers when grinding for my epic mount. The main route you’ve done works out well, but you skip some valuable spots especially down where the giant boss is, that entire hallway is filled with mobs you can pickpocket. You can avoid the dogs that see you through stealth quite easily since the hallway is so wide, none of the dogs are close enough to the humanoids to aggro, and on top of that if you’re mining and engineering you can grab up to 2 dark iron nodes per run, which can net you up to one dark iron bar per run maximum. Reason I say engineering is cause you need the mind control helmet to distract one pack of mobs in order to mine one of the nodes, then you’ll have to vanish. The other node is behind a pack of dogs which you can easily kill since theyre non elite. NOTE: Theres also a chance that, once you get gear, you can take on the fire elemental boss that you come across in a lava run. On the private server I was on I could only barely beat him with consumes popped, but with better gear it’ll probably be possible. You can technically also kill the chick that drops the prison cell key, but its not worth weaving through the dog packs to try and kill her, plus its a waste of time since you can’t pickpocket there. Lastly, if you can open the door behind the grim guzzler, theres some easy-to-grab mobs in that area. Just pickpocket those ones then log out reset for a little bit of extra gold per run. Try incorporating this strat into your runs, you’ll make a bit more gold than what was shown in this guide, ESPECIALLY factoring in mining some juicy dark iron. Also, on your way to BRD, theres some world dark iron spawns in the twilight encampment to the west of thorium point, and one to the east of the entrance to blackrock mountain. If they’re up, grab those too. T1 set bonus for vanish works really well for this, once you get it your death chances per run will be greatly reduced. If you have it, equip it, even if you have better gear you should still wear it. You can also do this with dagger spec, but keep in mind you probably wont be killing bosses as fast and smooth until you get some really decent purps. Perditions blade and core hound tooth will really suit you well, though there are few lower level alternatives. Its highly recommended to just go sword spec and use dal rends, atleast until you get decent daggers.

3:34 You dont need to vanish, just jump up on the ledge above fire brazier. You will eventually get out of combat if you stand behind pillar. Save the vanish for pickpocket resists
In vanilla and now classic, every 8 mins mobs reset their inventory, meaning you can pickpocket them again. So if you just ignore bosses, you can keep circling around pickpocketing, without need for an alt or a reset. I use the following macro to not have to tab target, lazy mode basically. #show /targetenemy /Cast Pick Pocket /cleartarget

In case you didn't notice subtetly has a finishing move dance because you have a chance to get a combo point and 25 energy return. Basically in dungeons garrote the target (ull get in most cases 2 combo points) hemo, ghost strike then bam eviscerate and in most cases you will get a combo point tick and if ur lucky 25 energy return then right away hemo then bam slice n dice then hemo 2 times and ghost strike then bam again eviscerate and so on... you can even include rupture into the rotation.
I had a good run, although being dagger spec I really struggled with killing the bosses and gave up - I'm specced to open with ambush and for max damage should always be behind my target, and my stealth also breaks after my first sap. This made killing the first boss extremely hard because the sap breaking my stealth means I have no opener now, and not enough time to burn the boss before I can vanish. Just a heads up for other dagger rogues; it's significantly easier when you're sword spec. I also am in mostly all pre-BiS with a few epic items.
You can extend the run by dropping down to Incendius and going to vault, pickpocket on the way. Check the AH if relic coffer keys are cheap and buy them up. You can kill the warden and potentially get a dark coffer key (if he spawns in a reasonable spot). This is probably a bit more lucrative if the relic coffer keys are reasonable.
I found out if your unable to kill the bosses, you still make at least 7g from pickpocketing every mob he tells you to, so don't feel like your not gunna make enough gold to justify the run if your not able to kill either boss. Ive been doing this run unable to kite, and kill the wizard, and every now and again being able to kill the first boss, and before i sell the loot from the boss, i always check my gold, and ive made at least 7g each time, thats not counting the extra Silver and junk from the lockboxes your gunna get. Most the time you'll walk out with at least 6 to 7 lockboxes.
hi, can you please explain how you don't get resisted from pickpocket. i have done 6 runs now and i get resisted too often end up not making it to final boss without dying even with preparation and 2 vanishes. they resist way too often
How does this spec perform in dungeons and for questing ? I am 58 lvl at the moment with the standard combat swords spec and for the foreseeable future I am bound to be doing quests and dungeon farms.
I've been punished so many times for killing the first boss and having a resist later. Seems a lot riskier if you're not spec'd into subtlety. Should I just be skipping the first boss if I'm combat spec?
I've tried this about 3 times now and it's so hit and miss for me. The best I've done was about 40g, but this last run I got multiple resists and ended up dying a couple of times. RNGeezus does not like me.
I've been thinking about making a video or post showing myself doing it, I go in naked except for shirt and white main hand and never kill or fight anything, i wish yours showed some sped up but otherwise unedited video of you doing this for a solid hour or so, PP can be super RNG I get double resisted fairly often and end up just waiting the 3 minutes for vanish(going off to a corner to open boxes) but I make 20-25g an hour easy without ever leaving or resetting the instance and that's not counting selling stacks(roughly 5 stacks an hour) of sup healing pots which go for around 35s-60s depending on the market
If say you have the succubus peacefully open the back door before you kill the bartender is it worth it to go further in for a few more pickpockets up till the Seven?
i been doing this for weeks and i didnt know the trick about the beer to pull out the adds, i just simple kill them while i tank the boss with evasion and blade flurry, much easier now
no just be sure to come out from behind the wall the second his spell casting is done. i had this problem at first too. you just have to LOS his spells and the SECOND he stop casting you walk out so he can see you again

I'd say i'm close to full pre raid Bis with a few raid pieces as well, and i'm having trouble with the bosses. I am combat sword spec so im not sure if my spec is hurting me in killing these guys.

Okay, so for those not aware let me write down the issues with this method not mentioned in the video: • The pickpocket resist percentage is high, about 10-15 %. • Mobs can resist your Vanish ability and keep hitting you. • Sap can sometimes only last 1-2 seconds. • Blind can sometimes only last 1-2 seconds. • Fiery Weapon and the Cables are vendortrash so the actual gold making rate is closer to 25-45 gold/hr.

My biggest question is, what's the crippling for in the main hand? Like i've done it before for times where id need to kite a little but theres really no room to do that anywhere in here.
You're able to run all the way to the side and stick to the left and jump through, not sure if blizzard intends to fix this though, or if its supposed to be in the game, hence it wasnt shown in the video

Wouldnit be bad if i went hemo spec as well when farming pre raid bis gear if we PvP a lot so we don’t have to constantly switch specs and only switch when our guild raids?
If you're farming pre raid bis and raiding, combat is the way to go for sure, you can still do this while being combat spec, though I'll set you back a bit since you are more easily detected and only have 1 vanish.. both bosses are still killable as combat though!
Can this spec do decent on pve dmg meters aswell, or do i have to respec everytime i go from this fram to raid? I know its ment for pvp but you get my point. ”Where is duo spec when you need it”
u could run a Combat/Sub Spec. with AR and Improved Sap. its slightly worse than traditional combat for raiding but the dps loss isnt as bad as trying to run pvp spec for raiding Or u could run a 11/31/9 spec. to get the Stealth bonuses minus the sap but having imp SND, malice, relentless strikes and murder. which would do better for pve. but also allowing u to pickpocket fast and easy. (u might have to SKIP Pyro boss because of loss of imp sap). but with AR and Blade flurry u could Sap One. Pop AR. BF kill both dudes really quick. or just Blind like normal the second pop with AR poped u would have enough burst from spamming SS to kill him in time. I might test it myself since im also raiding and dont wanna switch back and forth just to grind gold. i would need to sim the dps loss but it shouldnt be more than 10% since all ur losing is Lethaility and imp posion 1 point & imp evis (currently i only get like 2-3 evis in during a boss fight since we killing them so damn fast almost feels like imp evis isnt worth the points.)

First boss is so random... I have nearly full BiS (with alternate krol + mirah) missing only head and a second BiS trinket... but i still get owned 50% of the times. SOmetimes i will survive at 30% sometimes i will die sometimes i will kill boss and die at the sime time... How are you able to down him consistently every time with that gear? I follow your rotation 100%. I even turn up evasion when you do. Going for the first boss seems not worth it. Second boss is easy kill but this first guy... Sounds to me like not worth the trouble as running back from GY takes another 3 minutes or so. Literally bleeding money because of this.

I used to do this run in vanilla. If your having trouble with the bosses you can stack some fire Resist gear or use a potion

Fun fact- shadow reflector bounces Spazzring's shadow bolts back at him :) Assuming the flame deflector works on the immolates

I've been thinking about making a video or post showing myself doing it, I go in naked except for shirt and white main hand and never kill or fight anything, i wish yours showed some sped up but otherwise unedited video of you doing this for a solid hour or so, PP can be super RNG I get double resisted fairly often and end up just waiting the 3 minutes for vanish(going off to a corner to open boxes) but I make 20-25g an hour easy without ever leaving or resetting the instance and that's not counting selling stacks(roughly 5 stacks an hour) of sup healing pots which go for around 35s-60s depending on the market
Is this still possible?
If say you have the succubus peacefully open the back door before you kill the bartender is it worth it to go further in for a few more pickpockets up till the Seven?
i been doing this for weeks and i didnt know the trick about the beer to pull out the adds, i just simple kill them while i tank the boss with evasion and blade flurry, much easier now
Blizzard have patched this it seems Everytime I aggro plugger he walks off to get ads and keeps walking off till he gets more.It happens everytime
no just be sure to come out from behind the wall the second his spell casting is done. i had this problem at first too. you just have to LOS his spells and the SECOND he stop casting you walk out so he can see you again
@@Derateo tried that Once LOS his cast he walks to the rest of the patrons and just keeps walking back and forth till they aggro.
Great guide.. Im lvl 46 and currently farming SM but ill definitely will do this.. 1 thing i Just dont get..so With this alt party thing.. You dont even have to go outside the dungeon? Or how it works? You have to re-enter the instance?

I'd say i'm close to full pre raid Bis with a few raid pieces as well, and i'm having trouble with the bosses. I am combat sword spec so im not sure if my spec is hurting me in killing these guys.
I just dinged 60 and i can do both with 1 prebis. But usually have to use a pot, but i find plenty of those pickpocketing

I'm using Nugenergy, you need to go into the interface > addons and configure it as you like
why don't your pickpockets every get resisted? mine get resisted CONSTANTLY

Okay, so for those not aware let me write down the issues with this method not mentioned in the video:
• The pickpocket resist percentage is high, about 10-15 %.
• Mobs can resist your Vanish ability and keep hitting you.
• Sap can sometimes only last 1-2 seconds.
• Blind can sometimes only last 1-2 seconds.
• Fiery Weapon and the Cables are vendortrash so the actual gold making rate is closer to 25-45 gold/hr.

I wrote wrong; today I did 1000 pps and got 89 resists. Still higher than what wiki or your comment would imply.

People have been doing this dungeon reset method since vanilla wow basically, it's not an exploit dont worry!

I did end up finding out that simply walking back is slightly faster though, you can do the walk back to the start in just over 2 minutes with the minor speed enchant ^^

Hey guzu i was wondering how you get back up in that window after you jump out to reset mobs, you said through the roof not sure how its done.
You're able to run all the way to the side and stick to the left and jump through, not sure if blizzard intends to fix this though, or if its supposed to be in the game, hence it wasnt shown in the video

Wouldnit be bad if i went hemo spec as well when farming pre raid bis gear if we PvP a lot so we don’t have to constantly switch specs and only switch when our guild raids?
If you're farming pre raid bis and raiding, combat is the way to go for sure, you can still do this while being combat spec, though I'll set you back a bit since you are more easily detected and only have 1 vanish.. both bosses are still killable as combat though!
Do they have dual spec in classic?

What if you don't have good gear and can't kill the boss. How much gold per hour REALISTICALLY you can get?
Pick N Roll it’s not that good gold, you have to kill the bosses for efficient gold

Can this spec do decent on pve dmg meters aswell, or do i have to respec everytime i go from this fram to raid?

Sadly its not really viable in raids, no adrenaline rush, the hemo debuff that takes up a slot and no blade furry/slice and dice uptime :(
u could run a Combat/Sub Spec. with AR and Improved Sap. its slightly worse than traditional combat for raiding but the dps loss isnt as bad as trying to run pvp spec for raiding
Or u could run a 11/31/9 spec. to get the Stealth bonuses minus the sap but having imp SND, malice, relentless strikes and murder. which would do better for pve. but also allowing u to pickpocket fast and easy. (u might have to SKIP Pyro boss because of loss of imp sap). but with AR and Blade flurry u could Sap One. Pop AR. BF kill both dudes really quick. or just Blind like normal the second pop with AR poped u would have enough burst from spamming SS to kill him in time.
I might test it myself since im also raiding and dont wanna switch back and forth just to grind gold.
i would need to sim the dps loss but it shouldnt be more than 10% since all ur losing is Lethaility and imp posion 1 point & imp evis (currently i only get like 2-3 evis in during a boss fight since we killing them so damn fast almost feels like imp evis isnt worth the points.)

I run this build myself I drop a point for relentless
First boss is so random... I have nearly full BiS (with alternate krol + mirah) missing only head and a second BiS trinket... but i still get owned 50% of the times. SOmetimes i will survive at 30% sometimes i will die sometimes i will kill boss and die at the sime time...
How are you able to down him consistently every time with that gear? I follow your rotation 100%. I even turn up evasion when you do.
Going for the first boss seems not worth it. Second boss is easy kill but this first guy... Sounds to me like not worth the trouble as running back from GY takes another 3 minutes or so. Literally bleeding money because of this.
