Great clean racing for the win there!
Was a good race for me. I had good pace to pull away from 4th on back but Dudu and Ales were in a different time zone compared to me 😂 very happy with a 3rd place finish!
The tire model on the SRF is messed up, absolute best traction and fastest times will be with the coldest tires you can get. No one is trying to warm them up because that's a detriment in this car.
We've been complaining to iRacing for a while about the tire cheese. It's caused so many problems during qualifying which is sad. I'd personally rather run laps for 20 minutes trying to get my best lap on hot tires versus what we do now. Ideally you put around the track not putting heat into the tires then hope for the best on your fast lap. Maybe iRacing will fix that in the near future so we can have exciting qualifying sessions again!
