It looks like you ended the video in the town of Angola, Indiana. The RV museum looks very interesting. I might have to check that out sometime when I'm out that way again.
Your not far from where i live 40 miles from ft. Wayne your about 20 miles from my best friend there in white pigeon mi.if i could have met you and bought your supper i would have its 6:20 just now watching plus i think i have the covid its going around here in town, well maybe another time, have a great day i enjoy your videos!!!
Awesome Video, Russ. My grandmother and her husband had a little 12 foot travel trailer back in the early 1960s that looked very similar to the one in the museum. My parents bought the first Airstream in the late 1970s, and they did the Airstream caravans and rallies for years. It was a really happy time in their lives. I have a casserole recipe I still use today that my mother got from someone at a rally. I was surprised to see so few Airstreams at that museum. I guess people hold onto them for a long time. They were like the Cadillacs of travel trailers.
Russ, your TH-cam Channel is great and so are you. I'm so glad that I'm a subscriber to your TH-cam Channel. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 As always, I wish you safe travels and I wish you the best. Talk soon, Alan.
Toured the Winnebago plant in Iowa as part of a job interview back in the early 90s. I had just graduated from college. Happy to say I didn’t get the job. That industry is super volatile as one day things are booming and the next day things go bust.
22:22 That mid-century trailer with 2 doors and round (portal) windows is very cool 😎. Maybe you could tell us the **year built** for some of these awesome mobile homes - next time you go. Thanks Russ.
Furrion is a supplier of RV parts and accessories. It was a demo unit to showcase their products, not an unfinished homemade build. Docent may have been misinformed.
If anyone who has been in the RV business for 20 years isn’t in the RV Hall of Fame, they should be. After all you have practical knowledge and abilities that exceed any arm chair CEO company. Your Mercedes Sprinter is a one of a kind RV that was built and designed by you to be a fully functional RV just like the vintage models demonstrated in the RV museum. Thanks for the visit to the museum. Enjoy what's left of your summer travels.
I enjoyed the RV Home of Fame! I myself have lived in a noble home in my past and my mom lived in my for a little ng time! Can’t wait for Ohio! I remember you last trip to Ohio! ❤️😀🇺🇸🚙
Probably a few different comments here … You said “”Traffic straight ahead “” … Not a car in sight especially as you made your left turn … Already had me laughing .. Glad I was sitting on the couch …. Or would had fallen down …. KEEP IT GOING RUSS … ABSOLUTELY MY FAVORITE RVer!!!!! ❤️❤️😢💯💯…. TRAVELING ALONG LIFES HIGHWAYS … You are definitely doing my only DREAM COME TRUE 💯💯❤️🙏🙏🙏🎊😀
Mobile homes are now called park models, still moveable like a travel trailer. Models designed to be set in parks (also called communities) are manufactured homes, still built on a frame chassis with wheels. Modular homes are essentially a multi section house constructed in a building, then transported on a semi trailer, set on a foundation with a crane.
Maybe the Furion Design guy couldn't decide on battery or solar. I could see hybrids and trybrids coming soon. Solar+lithium+diesel or natural gas even.
On 08/28/24 I picked up my new Sunset Park Sun Lite 16BH Sport (off road package) - built in Shipshewana, to be towed with a '17 Tacoma TRD Off Road. Currently getting stuff organized, hoping to be full time RV'ing around October. Might see you in Quartzsite!
Hey There Russ! I enjoy these video's so much. Jean and I are planning to come to Quartzite for the tent show and to try and meet you. However, I have heard that there has been a change to the BLM charges for the season. Have you heard about the change and the new fees being charged. Could you please do a update for all of us planning to attend the Quartzite Tent Show or just planning to come to the Dessert Southwest this winter. Thanks so much. Paul and Jean
Check the UK registered Citroen Dyane on a trailer at 4.10. Same Citroen appears in the previous video just as you walk around to the entrance of the Studebaker museum!

Hi. You have such great visual videos. I hate to say this and it’s not meant to be cruel. But every time I click on one of your videos because of my internet in the thumbnail, as soon as I hear your 6 year old intro tune, I mute the sound until well into the video. I think it’s time for a new intro tune. But that’s just me. I’m sure others love it. Sorry.
Wow Russ twenty years full time! That’s called doing it right.
A great museum. I was expecting to see a picture of you in there!
Yes your RVer TV should be in the Hall of Fame..the journey continues..🌎✌️❤️🎼🎶🎵

🕊Hi 👋🏽 Russ
Beautiful day 🛣
I LOVE the red house on the left at 47:22!!! To quote a road tripper I listen to... "too cool for school!" ♥
I once had an old Fireball trailer from the 1960s. The museum brought back memories of my camping days in that old beast! Thanks for the tour!

The RV Hall of Fame is a Harvest Host so you can spend the night. I’m not sure about hookups. May be new since we were there last.

122mph rv .. if I saw that on the highway…
Did anyone say why that guy never finished building the FURRION motor home ??
Furrion is a supplier of RV parts and accessories. It was a demo unit to showcase their products, not an unfinished homemade build. Docent may have been misinformed.
Thanks for the tour!
It's interesting to see how the old RVs and trailers were, especially the one with the office chair😆

Memory tells me there was a movie starring Pat Boone "State Fair". Anyone see it.??
Where's the KYD bus.
The 1930s antique homes were nice.
