I want to make a journal for my best friend for Christmas. She loves to doodle and I want to make it so that she gets some inspiration, by adding different pics, patterns, textures etc. I was getting a bit angry with myself, because I have barely even started. But you know what? Now I am glad I have, because this was the idea I needed to make the present especially special. And I already have the perfect box at hand.

Natasha, you’ve outdone yourself. One of my fav projects you’ve done! It’s stunning, rich and classy. It’s not overdone, which I think is the mistake that could easily happen. You kept all of the papers the same which gave it its elegance. The gold trim on the edges of the pages was a suburb touch. Well done.

This is a fabulous project. One of the best I have ever seen. I created a trinket box almost in the same manner several years ago for a friend using paper, ribbon and broken jewelry. My friend is a equestrian and fashionista and that was the theme. I was very pleased with it and so was she. Placing a journal in your box was genius.

Hi Natasha! you were my very first youtuber I discovered years ago on another account. My eyes popped open that someone out there was following a path that I was but actually making a journal out of everything. I was making things but never put them together as a journal! but there was no direction at all back then there are no art school courses for this its truly a passion ppl embrace. I love everything u do. This project literally blew me away. I never got happy mail in my life, and if I ever got something like this ever as a gift my goodness!!!! I would die. So you have inspired me to want to create again and I think THIS project is it. I stopped creating once I got sick and your videos and humour have kept me going. You are so funny and uplifting. And the way you explain your process is like we are there.
I absolutely pine over some of your stashes and boxes you get. We can’t ever get things like this in Canada for some crazy reason. Is no one junk journaling in Canada? Scapbooking was big but junk journaling has not caught on perhaps. You have transformed what we could do with foiled cardstock forever! Never did I think it could be used like this. It usually comes in tacky packaging but wow… this project is next level in my opinion. I loved the keyhole and corner trims.
I will try to get something in my means to try this. THANK U FOR EVERYTHING U DO. I will be so bold to say you got me through terrible health scared and times. If ever you do scrap bundles (cuz your scraps would be treasures lol) I would love to know! I have hoarded cereal boxes again because of u! lol I used to keep them for other reasons and purged it all moving, and I started collecting boxes and paper again.
I still never could get sari where is the magical fairy in 2022 that sells sari in Canada? Any places online anyone knows of reasonable? I guess I have to make my own fake sari otherwise.
You can buy thin silk from Dharma Trading Co. Then dye (they sell dye too) and tear into strips.
I, for one, was a little shocked when you didn't sew the cover! I am also a little shocked whenever you use double sided tape in other videos. This is why I love your channel, you keep us guessing!

It's beautiful. I hope it looks even 1/2 as good in person as it does on video. The shiny gold embossed corners and fancy gold and colored layered look. I wish I had those tools and papers. You are so talented an have a real skill in doing those decorative finishing touches.

I would love to purchase this project for my friend. She is 85 was just diagnosed with terminal lung cancer & given 6 months to a year to live. I am a long haul trucker & cannot possibly make her one. It would be a special thing for her to leave her granddaughter who is not yet 30.
