What a beautiful song! Brought tears to my eyes...As a child I had such a crush on her in Doctor Who, she was a wonderful companion. I was thrilled to see her return for a few episodes during Tennant's stint and then her own show.
Little brother convinced me to buy the whole of SJA on boxset. Told myself it was for the purpose of educating future generations - which it was - but I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of watching her character save the world.
It's still hard to believe that she is no longer with us, and that the ultimate Who girl left this earth nearly three years ago... I don't know if she knew just how special Sarah Jane was to all the hearts she touched. Sleep tight, Lis.
She was an amazing woman and certainly reminded me that there's nothing "only" about being a girl. A very inspirational character and woman. She is greatly missed.
I started watching New Doctor Who and saw Sarah Jane in school reunion. Older family member gasped and said, "It's Sarah Jane Smith!" I said, "Who?" ...Please not that that was ages ago. I watched so much more of Elisabeth Sladen's time as a companion (including the start of the Sarah Jane adventures) and learned she died a while ago. Watching this, though, made me cry. She was the most loved companion (and best, in my opinion) of Doctor Who ever, and we will miss her.
I miss you liz, you inspired countless generations, thank you for being such an amazing person, the universe and the whoniverse seem so much emptier without you.
I am a man over 40. I was also inspired, as is my 8 year old daughter. I discovered this song 2 days ago on Talis' web site. I was waiting for someone to make a video of it. Thank you! This is wonderful, and my 8 year old cried while viewing. RIP Lis, and thank you Annie for making this, thanks again Talis for writing it!
This is so sad, her passing... I know someone who died from cancer and even people you don't know personally, it's still so tragic to lose them.... RIP Elisabeth Sladen.
Rejoice in her having been and do not sorrow for her/their passing. We still have Lis/Sarah on video, DVD and in our hearts, look up at the stars she said, she is still with us.
I only knew Sarah Jane from Stolen Earth adn Journey's End, but I loved her :( I only just ofund out she died now and now I wanna cry. I loved Sarah Jane
Didn't know she passed away... Wow. I liked her a lot in Doctor Who, super actor. Bye Sarah Jane Smith. This is a nice little song, I like the TARDIS reference used in it.
I can't believe I missed every thing because I didn't know about DW until a few months ago like in august and she was gone before I even got to really know her and I've only seen two episode of the Sarah Jane adventures and one of her in DW (the new one) and o still cried wish someone could tell me why
I didn't know that she had passed away.... :*-(........Out of all of the doctor's companions Sarah Jane Smith will be and always be my favorite companion.
When I began watching Doctor Who, I was a teenager, and Sarah Jane was the Doctor's companion. I am a sucker for cute brunettes that have a mind of their own. And boy howdy, did I have a huge crush on Sarah Jane!
Jut have to point out something, in her autobiography, she says she was actually born in 1946, not 1948. This is a brilliant son for a brilliant woman and character :')

I've beem crying for two days now -- this is a beautiful expression about how we all felt about both Elisabeth Sladen and Sarah Jane Smith. Thank you.

Beautiful tribute for a beautiful woman.
The new series was the first time I was introduced to Sarah Jane and I feel truly privileged to have gotten to know such an amazing woman.
I keep coming back to this... Again, thanks for posting...

Goodnight Sarah Jane, from the beginning till the end you fought, and you will be in the heart of every nerd of The Show.
Goodbye our Sarah Jane. Although when you travel with the Doctor it's never really goodbye.
I still miss this woman. It happens in phases but it happens.
I still think about this song.
Rejoice in her having been and do not sorrow for her/their passing. We still have Lis/Sarah on video, DVD and in our hearts, look up at the stars she said, she is still with us.

Getting ready to cry
There aren't many things that can reduce me to tears (mainly Doctor Who) but this has reduced me to a quivering wreck of "WHY?!"
Goodbye, Sarah. Goodbye, Lis.
Rest in sweet peace.
