- The Sarah Jane Adventures 10th Anniversary Reunion Convention ( The Attic / SJAReunion ). The special event took place at the students union near to Cardiff’s main university campus on Saturday 29th July, and was joined by fans from across the globe to celebrate the hit TV shows 10th anniversary, whilst remembering the deeply missed Elisabeth Sladen.
Cast and Crew at the event included Tommy Knight, Anjli Mohindra, Yasmin Paige, Sinead Michael, Mina Anwar, Katy Manning, Paul Marc Davis, Phil Ford, Gary Russell, Joe Lidster, Sam Watts, Richard Wisker, Cheryl Rowlands, Scott Handcock, Brian Miller, John Leeson, Mat Irvine & Chris Johnson
The BBC spin off show to Doctor Who became extremely popular amongst a wide range of audiences on the CBBC channel from 2007 to 2011, which followed former Doctor Who companion Sarah Jane Smith ( Elisabeth Sladen ) and her friends Luke Smith ( Tommy Knight ), Maria Jackson ( Yasmin Paige ), Clyde Langer ( Daniel Anthony ), Rani Chandra ( Anjli Mohindra ) and Sky Smith ( Sinead Michael ) save the planet from a number of alien and deadly encounters.

Well, this video brought a tear to my eye. When they held the owl up (that featured in the parting shot of Sarah leaving the 4th Doctor, and him saying that he would never forget her and he didn't!) a lump came to my throat and, I realised that after all these years, I still miss Liz Sladen. RIP Liz xxx
It’s just so beautiful, I wish I could have been there, and I have to say it’s amazing to see almost the whole cast there, even Yasmin Paige (Maria) was there, and I have to say, they all look the same, maybe a bit older but Tommy Knight a.k.a. Luke especially, he hasn’t aged at all.
Finally, to know that the show is still so loved and the memory and legacy of Elizabeth Sladen still lives on as Sarah Jane Smith and is honoured by fans of the show all around the world, may she rest in peace but look down upon her cast, crew and fans with pride.

I grew up on Sarah Jane Adventures the same time I watched Doctor Who, and I still enjoy it to this day. This looks like it was such a fun event! I hope I get the chance to meet these guys some day.
This nostalgic incredible TV show is the reason why I eventually watched Dr who. I'll never forget

So this was the 10 year anniversary since The Sarah Jane Adventures had started on television.
Can you all believe that a year from now in next April, 2021 it will mark 10 years since Elizabeth Sladen passed away, do you think the cast of the show here: Tommy Knight (Luke), Sinead Michael (Sky), Yasmin Paige (Maria), Anjili Mohindra (Rani) and Daniel Anthony (Clyde who sadly wasn’t there) will all get together again along with other beloved members of the cast who guest starred i.e. Katy Manning (Jo grant) and those who knew Liz from her time in Doctor Who and the crew to remember and honour her memory?

Who can remember the first adventure of Sarah Jane Smith the doctor and the stories that followed this remarkable companion who brought her smile and know how to become her own hero and loved by her fans and the fans ever after we miss that special smile and get and go of Sarah Jane Smith the first time and last time but very much of our time from the early days to her greatest Adventures as a mother and mystery solver a Time Lady yes but more her story is but the beginning her adventures retold but not gone and never forgotten it was fantastic Sarah Jane Smith you are a Star

Wow! Sarah Jane Adventures is just amazing! I love the show so much! It all happened and it would’ve be the same without Elizabeth Sladen. She’s the reason I love the show! She was a fantastic actress and all the other actors on the show were amazing!! I love the show so much and I’m so happy to see all the cast in this lovely video. Would love to meet the cast. ❤️
I wanted to go this event so badly but it clashed with my holiday plans but then my holiday ended up being cut short due to awful circumstances and I will forever regret not taking the chance to go to this event instead. Such a lovely event and great way to pay homage to the series and Elisabeth Sladen. :)

It looked like it was a fun event to attend! I really enjoyed the Sarah Jane Adventures and I'm still glad it's celebrated with events like this and now that it's characters have branched into things like Big Finish!

I loved being at this so much. It was the reason, along with the soon to be closed at the time DWE , that I first went to Wales. I think everyone did Lis, and the series, so well. What a wonderful, and so emotional day.

One of the things that I love is that this fandom is still together, we still love the same show,
I grew up watching this series, and I just got the entire series on dvd as a present got Christmas, so that I can watch it when I go to collage in September,
And I realised that I still remember most of the episodes,
It has been so long since I've watched the series but I've never stopped loving it

As sad as I was to hear of the passing of Elizabeth Sladen, a part of me had hoped the series would continue, with Katy Manning taking over the main role. Not sure how well it would have worked, but it would have been epic to have Jon Pertwee's two main companions (with all due respect to the late Caroline John), have their latter day renaissance.

They should bring everyone back for a one-off in memory. To show us what the characters are up to now. In Sarah’s name they’re all still saving the earth from aliens with Mr.Smith? Maybe Maria has moved back to Ealing and has rejoined the gang? Maybe Clyde and Rani finally got together, maybe they’ve met the Doctor a few more times since.
Sure today’s kids wouldn’t remember the show or care, but we would.
Personally I’d love for any one of them to appear on Doctor Who or maybe become a full companion.

Has anyone else noticed on the back of the Sarah Jane adventures dvd set it says under series 5 that the star child (sky) was placed in Sarah janes care by THE DOCTOR but this was never mentioned in the episode? Is it a typo?

an SJA reunion convention without Elisabeth Sladen is the most bittersweet thing... it's her show... and she couldn't be there.
I hope they reunite to do a spinoff that would really cool if they can work on another show together
