The color profiles are very similar. The biggest benefits of the Appeck are they can go up to 200ft, they can be cut and customized to the home, and the Smart Life app has way more animations for customization of your own light scenes.
I seen you have installed several different brands of outdoor permanent lights now, if it was your money which set would you buy and why? Eufy, Appeck, Govee...........
Great question Jason and there are many factors for me that might be different for you. My house is pretty complicated so I could go with a Pro Appeck or Govee set to make sure it aligned perfectly to the home. These also have the best range of white lights which I like to have for year round lighting. Now the Govee app is pretty versatile but I honestly think the Appeck Lights in Smart Life had way more customization on animations than I had seen in the Govee app. All the lights work with Google or Alexa but the Govee Lights 2 or Pro work with Matter which can be used with Apple. But I think Eufy is great for the easiest install because the bracket is built into the light housing. Either way they are look very nice.
I just don't see the appeal I mean things have zero aesthetic to them. the seedy strip club in the next town over has had for like 15 years before they shut down due to COVID just makes you house look like business or something,
You've never hung Christmas lights? That's exactly what these are for, but for every holiday that you would want. And in the off season, just use the warm white or cool white as just normal lights for the house. All bundled in a DIY kit, instead of paying 5k+ that a "professional" would charge for the EXACT same item. That is the appeal to them.
@@Opticpain just not he same as Christmas light and actual strings of bulbs hanging it jut looks like the hose is washed in light. I like icicle lights and the small twinkle lights and even he larger c4 type bulb strings . these have no aesthetic to them it just looks like something that belongs on a commercial building
@@andreamitchell4758 Well, good thing we can all have our own opinion. I myself am sick of the normal christmas lights. The icicle lights are tacky and annoying to hang every single year. Ice can form on them and put more wright on the gutters they'rehung from and could ruin them. The twinkle lights can also be done on these perm lights.
can these be used with alexa, id love me be able to us this with my motion sensors sothat when someone walks up the light gets brighter around the house.
How are these compare to Govee pro permanent lights?
Which is better and why, eufy e22 or appeck pro?

HOA's gonna be going ballistic all over the country as these become more widely used.
Great review, It'll be nice to install these so I'll never to use a ladder 🪜 and install and remove Christmas lights every year.
I really like that I only had to get up on that ladder this time and won't have to do it again.

I don't think wifi 6 is compatible.
WiFi 6 routers still contain a 5Ghz and a 2.4Ghz radio. 2.4Ghz has a much larger range and is better for devices that are being used outdoors.
@@TechWithBrett did not know that. When I upgraded to wifi 6 router, my wifi garage door opener could not find 2.4ghz. I assume it was not compatible.
W!

Yes they can! Sorry I didn't show the Smart Life Alexa skill but yes that will work.
