- The way I pieced this suite together is I wanted the listeners to feel the sorrow of Yuel in the first bit, then Caius unleashing his rage upon Lightning, then after being defeated the music would calm down to show Caius' more emotional side, the pain and suffering he's gone through just to save his beloved Yuel.

Thanks for watching/listening.
One of the best soundtracks in the game, and no one even recognizes it...
Its one of the best damn songs in the series ever, in my opinion it very much so tops sephiroth and his character is topped too in my opinion.
Joseph Trager i think the 13 series has really got some of the best villains in the entire Final Fantasy series. I'm sure many will disagree with me, but really the only ones that truly stand out to me are Kefka and Sephiroth. Granted I haven't played 2 5 or 9. Barthandelus, Caius, and Bhunivelze all stand out to me. Caius more than the others though
its simple, people want something different , they get it, then bitch something diffrent was done, its called people dont know what tthey want and like to listen to on line negativity and not have minds of theyre own.
xXMcFreakinXx I prefer his original theme from XIII-2 but this one is pretty awesome as well.
Joseph Trager Yup the XIII trilogy is a very solid series of games imo. FF XIII is not the best but its a good game, XIII-2 is the best in the trilogy and one of the best FFs ever imo, and Lightning Returns is a fun change from the conventional way FF works and closes the story pretty neatly.
Best FF antagonists and one of the best written characters ever
Indeed!
daaaaaaaaaaamn I've been looking for this EVERYWHERE! Thanks!
uh... thank you.
One of my favorite FF villains, together with Ardyn from XV. Like Vayne Solidor and Genesis too.
Except he's more of an Anti-hero
dea mortis, iuravi
carrisimam servaturum
dea mortis servabo
ut tempora recte ducam
etsi cor in chaos
aut fortuna bella ferat
diese Musik is irgendwie emotional geladen , ich liebe diese theme
Anger sorrow and despair is what I hear

God how it suits him perfectly, my ABSOLUTE favourite character in the xiii trilogy. I know he is not evil, yet I still wanted him to be the ultimate villain. Sure Bhunivelze is a GOD and a proper final boss .. BUT AT LEAST HE COULD'VE POSSESSED CAIUS AND NOT POOR HOPE IN THE LAST BATTLE! sorry I still can't move on from that ending.
Noctis Lucis I think the reason he couldn't was because cauis was part of the chaos
Shadow Walker hmmm..reasonable ... DAMMIT NOW I NEED TO PLAY IT ALL OVER AGAIN! cuz I wanna see Caius as how you see him ...
Gonna give you a pro tip here....
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
Shit like that helps a lot here, you know, in not spoiling the ending you ass hat
Theguyintheflesh Nice tip, here is mine, I have been in your situation many times .. you know .. not wanting to ruin old stuff that I'm stuck in still playing ... I don't go read posts about them. look I have stated my point in good manners!!
I must say, that was an epic intro you made. The text goes perfectly with the pain that drew Caius into madness. Oh, and thx for upload. Needed to remember what the name of the song was. :)
i mean i played ff 13 lr now 3 times and i am still searching for the battletheme that is played while u search the temple of the goddes for caius is it this theme?
Uhm... I believe so.
In 13-2 I think "heart of chaos" plays within the temple.
In LR:13 in the temple both Caius' and Yuel's themes play.
