You know that after he said that he does not want to expirience it again he was no more on The First Take ? :D cause the second vid was this one and he had one before :D Just a bit of a funny info :D
To give context. Alnoah Zero is an anime featuring mechas. The premise is that humanity eventually made it to Mars and found futuristic alien technology. Eventually, they seceeded from Earth as a different race - Martians. Unfortunately, as great as that technology is, they didn't have resources for good life... Resources that Earth has aplenty. Going further would spoil you the anime. You should watch the first episode, where this song is featured and the chills you'll get will grip you.
This anime has a similar vibe to AoT, which is one of the reasons German is in it. In the case of English, over the years many composers of Japanese pop culture-related music are using it more and more, I think because of its increased international reach. Some music I think deserves more exposure, although Sawano doesn't compose in this genre afik, is more Japanese traditional music in anime OP and ED. But these tend to be for relatively obscure anime, and never seem to make it to best OP/ED lists.
gotta say, this is one of my favorite songs from Hiroyuki Sawano. The first take version is amazing in its own way, but the version with the full instrumental arrangement just hits different. Would definitely love to see you react to the other version too, maybe even the ops for Aldnoah Zero too ;) Edit: almost forgot: the anime is a mech anime, where humanity managed to settle on mars and the moon. They people on mars established a monarchy and after some shit happened the people from mars started a war with the people back on earth. Dont wanna get into too much detail, but you just gotta see it for yourself. They explain most of this in episode 1, but in a lot more detail and definitely in a better way. Also yeah, this ending is hands down better than any ops for it imo. That doesnt mean that there arent more good songs in this anime thou. I would recommend also checking out Breathless, its a song that plays during some battles in it.
Well damn, this version has such a different vibe from the original! The orig gets you hyped for some serious mech action, this one is really solemn and emotional. You nailed it, this man really is a genius at picking vocalists, knocks it outta the park every damn time! You should really check out more of his work on Re:Creators, you did the OPs and EDs but some of the insert songs in the episodes are AMAZING! Also his work on Unicorn Gundam!
Aldnoah Zero is a good show not for its plot but its energy and atmosphere that it brings through the epic scenes and soundtracks. Also one of the first show that brought me to Hiroyuki, even before AoT. I'd be very happy if one day you'd react to this show. Seems like a lot of people sleep on it due to ridiculous reasons.
There is a First Take with at least two mistakes in it, it's a duet and my favourite First Take video KANA-BOON × Necry Talkie - Naimononedari They removed the mistakes on the music streaming versions but the video kept them in
aLIEz is one of my favourite from Hiroyuki Sawano. Pretty much everything is so amazing in this song, the same as how the singer is capable of putting so much emotions into the song. However, while this was good in it's own sense, I would definietly recommend checking out the original, or even the short anime version. The impact of the song is just on a different level when all the instruments are present. One of Hiroyuki Sawano's strenght is how he is using all the instruments to their full potential, that's why many people who heard the original feel this version lacking.
This was actually the 2nd ending for the show. It’s an amazingly epic song with beautiful vocals. Definitely strong enough to be used as an opening but hits like a brick as the ed
If you liked this version, you really NEED to react to the original! The first take version is beautiful but without the drums and synthesisers, it's just not the same. You're gonna love the energy of the original!
sawano hiroyuki is more well known for his music on attack on titan but i think his music in aldnoah zero, re creators and the legend of the galatic heroes are his best works to date and this is a hill im willing to die on
He is more well known for his music in Gundam UNICORN, and the mecha anime genre in general. Second is AoT, but he was already a legend by the time AoT rolled around. AoT just removed the doubt and solidified that fact in people's hearts and minds.
You should definitely listen to the original of aLIEz! This version gives a very different (but still wonderful) vibe. You should also listen to Breathless and MKalieZ as well. Unfortunately, the anime itself isn't all that good, though I still enjoyed it.
FYI the post chorus is completely in German : Leben, was ist das? Signal, Siehst du das? Räder, die du nicht weisst Aus eigenem Willen Leben, was ist das? Signal, Siehst du das? Räder, die du nicht weisst Sieh mit deinen Augen
Yes, usually Hiroyuki songs have some german (and english) in them, looks like he like the language that goes into the action/sad feeling on the anime plus german and japanese sound great if used correctly
@@treik1773 I was not a fan of the ending because Slane acted completely out of character for the ending of season 1 and then Inaho was way too op to keep the tension from the first season. The only good episodes where the first 3-6 episodes IMO
Since Luke is in a Hiroyuki Sawano vibe right now, I recommend he listens to "Narrative". It was made for a Mobile Suit Gundam movie, but the important part is... LiSA sings it! So it's an automatic 10/10
Always amazed how Mizuki is switching between Japanese, English and German in this song. The anime *Aldnoah.Zero* is about a great war between mankind on Earth and Mars. The song with its lyrics fits this really well, I think.

You have reacted to 86's music before! The ending of the first season Avid is song by mizuki and it is written by sawano. Avid is the best song I have ever heard!!
I really love the anime from the song, it's called Aldnoa Zero, a mecha anime. Another thing that I love about the song is that she sings a few verse in German. It's an underrated anime which barely are known by other people. Thank you for the beautiful reaction and greetings from Germany. Keep going your amazing reactions ^.^
Hundreds, I think, of Hiroyuki Sawano songs and soundtracks out there. Everyone listens to the same ones, but there are many more. And the male vocalists are ignored and mostly underrated.
You've heard Mizuki before. 1st ending of 86 "Avid" was done by Sawano Hiroyuki and performed by Mizuki. Sawano has roaster of singers for collaborations, Mizuki is one of them
Luke! Yes, you have heard Mizuki before. She is the vocalist for the song Avid that Hiroyuki Sawano composed for 86. Its the first ending. Also, an OST that Sawano composed and i absolutely love is EARth. Its from the movie Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway. Please give it a listen if you can. 🙏🏼
Talking about mistakes in the first take, remind me about "ないものねだり"by KANA-BOON and ネクライトーキー Top 30 from the fist take but with mistakes. They did a revenge version afterward but I really like their first take version.
Honestly, Hiroyuki Sawano's list of anime works can easily function as a top anime list. I usually go back and check to see his new works to decide which anime to watch next!
I would recommend and give a shoutout to 2 people in the back of peoples mind and bring them foward for everyone to remember. T M Revolution and Nana Mizuki. Both powerhouses on thier own Respect. Now add them together into 1 of the first songs i would recommend. Preserved roses.
Anime its from Aldnoah Zero. Featured towards the end of the first episode. And yes, you reacted to Mizuki recently on the Eighty Six OST "Voices of the chord".
5:44 Yes, that's kind of a curse for mecha anime nowadays. Most of them got overlooked (including their music) in favor of fighting anime or rom-com anime. Not knowing that *Gundam* literally started the "anime OST album industry" by selling the first anime OST album back in 1979 for people to buy & take home coz they love the Gundam music/soundtracks from the TV show so much.
This duo is the same one that gave us the masterpiece Avid (one of the 86 six endings)...and they have other great songs like A/Z, &Z, etc...and along with Aliez are part of the Aldnoah Zero soundtrack...by the way, great anime.
Aldnoah Zero OST is top tier. You should listen to the other. Also yes this is an Ending, Ending 2 if I'm not wrong. The original version is even better
You definitely need to check out more from Sawano, especially his songs featuring Tielle. I'd recommend Amazing Trees, Into the Sky, and CRYst-Alise. There's also 'Remember' which features Mizuki, Gemie, Tielle, naNami and Yosh.
I'd like to see some more music from Yuki Kajiura also because she has so much good songs and performances that are under the radar for most reaction channels. But oh boy is she an excellent composer like Hiroyuki. I'd recomend looking up Fiction Junction Live and that will start you down the Kajiura rabbit hole proper. or More Kalafina songs as well
I love Kalafina too, but they sadly broke up (retired) a few years ago. I have a feeling that reacting to their music would present some copyright challenges, simply because people rarely mention them.
@@myst0dreamer the live stuff is mostly fine, and that goes for the Yuki Kajiura Live performances also. Those are what I mainly want him to experience
Its actually used for action xD the version used in the anime is full of drums,...but i like this version a lot too ofc. Both sound great in their own way. They sound soo different. You should also react to the OST version.
This is from the anime: Aldnoah Zero. The first few episodes of the anime are excellent, but it quickly fades into just being ok. I think it's episode 3 that ends with an alternative version of this song and that version is absolutely fantastic. It's openings and endings are great throughout though, so you can't go wrong with checking those out.

You already reacted to her song called "Avid" -an Ending from 86 anime I highly suggest you make a seperate reaction for that song Its available in Sawano's channel
In the japanese music they like to implement other languages, mostly english. But this song takes it a bith further. During the refrain there are some spakles of english and, more prominent, german.
Aldnoah Zero is by no means underrated. It was the most loved mecha anime when the first season came out. But then the second season decided to go in some stupid direction and trashed all the build-ups from the first season for no apparent reason so now many people don't like it.
I'm really glad to see you appreciate Sawano's music, even if you know these videos won't get that many views. I often choose what anime to watch next based on his music alone (which is a good selling point for quite a few mediocre animes XD)

agreed
Hiroyuki sawano's song is the only songs that feels empty on the first take without all the orchestra.
I love this first take version tho so much as well
Yeah the original is something else, you really need to listen to it
A bit sad that you chose to react to this version instead of the original, but this one is still superb.
Truly, this version is good, but it's calm and lacking the energy. The original is so epic, and great, one of the best Hiroyuki's songs.
yeah it's excellent , but lacking the hype from the rythm or even the anime scene . Well someday he might check it out , or even the anime
Just what I thought. The original's impact is just too great.
I'll check out the original as well don't worry 💯
Not what a lot of people are mentioning is that the song's lyrics are written in a mix of Japanese, German and English.
aLIEz and Avid are the Mizuki's most masterpiece songs. Her voice is angelical
Fun fact : Mizuki, in the song, sing in Japanese, English and German. For exemple : the end of aLIEz (read A lie Z) is completely in German.

Full length AoT opening 6, “my war” needs to be on the channel, the other half of the song is different and funky enough to warrant it

This is the song that introduced me to mecha and hiroyuki sawano
The guy is the frickin Midas of music! 😍🤍
Welcome to the world of the mystical Sawano Hiroyuki's music. you might want to hear a lot of his songs as well!!
You should definitely check Sawano's Vigilante from the Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative OST. That one's fire.
Aliez don't get much love that it deserves.
BELONG tambien tiene un First Take, deberias reaccionar a ese, es de Sawano tambien
In the japanese music they like to implement other languages, mostly english. But this song takes it a bith further. During the refrain there are some spakles of english and, more prominent, german.
Absolutely underrated anime with an amazing OST.
Aldnoah Zero is by no means underrated. It was the most loved mecha anime when the first season came out. But then the second season decided to go in some stupid direction and trashed all the build-ups from the first season for no apparent reason so now many people don't like it.
Now, waiting for Aldnoah Zero Opening/Ending reaction
One of my favorite songs from this anime
I'm really glad to see you appreciate Sawano's music, even if you know these videos won't get that many views. I often choose what anime to watch next based on his music alone (which is a good selling point for quite a few mediocre animes XD)
More Hiroyuki Sawano music reaction please! (especially from re:creators)
