Japanese crowds are a different beast. Their times cheering with the penlights is a staple of concert culture there, and they are overall really respectful and a great audience.

Having an almost coreogrphed dance specific to a song with vocal add-ons from crowd is different. Additionaly Japanese are just more cleaner. not only in concerts but generally. So venues don't feel as filthy and I don't have to fear of some drunk pouring beer on me every second.

Sadly the OST isn't heavy on vocals unless you count the choir, but they're just as amazing! I highly recommend MAD-NUG, Full Frontal and Unicorn!

Sawano is literally amazing with every song he makes and often too he collabs with some extremely talented singers to add the vocals. Within the Gundam unicorn ost if you compare the older songs with the newer ones you'll actually hear a distinct progression and even blending of certain songs and it's mind blowing.
Hiroyuki Sawano[nZk] also performed “Time” with ReoNa at the same event, 2022 SACRA Music Festival. It’s the S4 ending fromThe Seven Deadly Sins. They don’t disappoint with this one either.

Girls Last Tour opening and endings. They are absolute bangers. The main ending has been covered by a lot of people including in Hololive. Please don’t forget the special ending that plays in episode 5 and 12 called Amadare no Uta or the song of raindrops.
Finally. people are missing out on Unicorn even the song is a bit old now. But do check the full Gundam Unicorn suite where Sawano perform in front of that life size gundam unicorn at Odaiba, Japan. (this is similar to AoT suite, but it's outdoor, so it's slightly less epic then AOT one.) BTW, If y'all don't know - Aimer apparently didn't had this voice, but she lost her voice at age 15 and her current voice was the result of the years of therapy. Also, the lyrics is pretty harsh. If you can read the subtitle. Lyrics like : "Even the sky can't stop my weeping."
Aimer is the Edith Piaf of J-Pop. There's something in her voice that could trigger me tears EVERYTIME. Like a kitten that was mistreated and abandoned and when you find and hold her, she purrs softly because she feels safe... like an abused angel whose wings are crippled yet she's giving her all for YOUR sake. It's beyond touching. There's so much pain but also a layer of hope and joy in her singing. She's someone you don't wanna let go of. So fragile and innocent. But she inspire you to move mountains and break chains. Too pure for this world🥲
You may already know this. "RE:I AM" is an anagram of Aimer. The title was given by Sawano san out of respect for her. Personally, my favorite song of his is Avid, you can listen to it if you want. Thanks for all your great videos.
FYI the Gundam Unicorn OST was the anime soundtrack that really made Sawano huge in the anime industry in 2010. Before this, while he had done some other anime series OSTs, he was mostly famous for doing music for live-action TV series from 2006 to 2009. After Unicorn, he did Guilty Crown in 2011 which further extended his reach, and then in 2013 he did Attack on Titan... and the rest is history.
PLEASE check a Turn a gundam ost : Tsuki no mayu ( amazing song ). Also Gundam unicorn has some awesome music, and one of my favorite sawano ost : Unicorn ( if you want to check it ) , you really should check a lot more of the music on this anime or in gundam in general because this is such a huge licence that amazing music is not what is missing.

I'd love for you to hear Ninelie from Sawano, Aimer, and Chelly (EGOIST) as well! It's the ending song to Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. It's so beautiful and a bit more upbeat than this one.
Not sure if you know about this or not, but Aimer actually had problems with her voices. She first start appearing to the world with her cover song, but one day she found out that she had a tumor near her vocal cord. While it isn't life-threatning, removing the tumor with surgery might affected her ability to sing or change her voice. So she choose to get rid of it the hard way, by literally not using her voice at all for half a year, only communicate with other people through writing. The tumor is indeed gone (or getting smaller I'm not sure), but it change her voice a bit, give it that unique hoarse voice that became iconic to her. And that's why after her recovery, she doesn't do interview that much because of having not talk to people for half a year.
You gotta react to the Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans openings and WATCH the anime. It’s different from the others. If you want a comparison, I’d akin it to the Scarface movie

Hey Luke, you should react to Morbius from Gundam Unicorn. It’s probably one of the best Hiroyuki Sawano songs out their. It gives off the vibes of the opening to a 007 movie.

I'd love for you to hear Ninelie from Sawano, Aimer, and Chelly (EGOIST) as well! It's the ending song to Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. It's so beautiful and a bit more upbeat than this one.
Not sure if you know about this or not, but Aimer actually had problems with her voices. She first start appearing to the world with her cover song, but one day she found out that she had a tumor near her vocal cord. While it isn't life-threatning, removing the tumor with surgery might affected her ability to sing or change her voice. So she choose to get rid of it the hard way, by literally not using her voice at all for half a year, only communicate with other people through writing.
The tumor is indeed gone (or getting smaller I'm not sure), but it change her voice a bit, give it that unique hoarse voice that became iconic to her. And that's why after her recovery, she doesn't do interview that much because of having not talk to people for half a year.
