Tupac Was A Genuine Person fighting for his people and the world at the same time! BEAUTIFUL SONG I HAVE LOVE THIS SONG SINCE I WAS A KID AND I KNOW EVERY WORD! THEY dont Make RAP LIKE THIS NO MORE! THIS WILL ALWAYS BE A CLASSIC TUPAC RAP SONG TO ME!
Tupac recorded this song before he knew his father was still alive, he first met his father in 1994 at the hospital the night he was shot 5 times in Quads Studios, NY.
Growing up without my father having a single mother to raise me and my brother this song hit me pretty hard also hearing it at such a young age, even to this day I feel it 2pac touched souls, minds, hearts he was a blessing to us 🙏
I was blessed in that I had a wonderful Dad in my life who may not have be financially rich but he was rich in character. I couldn't have imagined a better father (may he rest in peace). I certainly had a good mom to, and I am very close with her today, but unlike my Dad she grew up in a house with a father related to organized crime figures, and grew up in kind of a messed-up environment, in some ways. Gangsters were constantly in and out of the home... my grandfather was a heavy drinking WWII Army Vet, and as a kid, I thought of my mom as cold, but still a good mom... I was just not close to her until I was about 30, and now I understand she was only a product of her environment, which was very different from the one I grew up in. I'm thankful my childhood was not like Tupac's but some of my cousins *did* come up that way, but I digress. I've *ALWAYS* thought that this was one of Tupac's greatest masterpieces, especially in that, even though I *personally* had a much more fortunate childhood, myself, I could *still* always feel this song, and the pain he went through, despite not having gone through that same thing. It's one thing for people who experienced the same hardships to really be able to put themselves in that person's shoes, so to speak, but only a *truly talented* artist can make the listener feel just like *they* did through music/lyrics/poetry, without having to have gone through that experience themselves... *THAT* is what I consider a true gift! RIP, Tupac.
I'm 23 and just started getting into Tupac's music, and this song, jesus. I am now here bawling my eyes out first thing in the morning, so touching and so sad that his mother went through that immense pain of losing such an amazing man and son. Rest in peace to Pac and his mom, hope they are together in heaven. ❤
It’s interesting how my culture is so heavily researched. That strength, style, the ability to stand through every single thing can’t be denied. As we all say, it’s all love...♥️
This is why Tupac was so influential with his music. He wrote lyrics that touched lives. Unfortunately many people who are not apart of our culture misunderstand us. This song alone encompasses probably 75-80% of all black lives in America. Unfortunately drugs were shipped and placed into our communities and Tupac is echoing the results of that. It’s good to hear n see other cultures understand us better. We’re all people at the end of the day but it’s good to understand each other’s challenges!!
I love how it left you speechless. Tupac is truly one of the pioneers of hiphop. He got a horrible wrap by the media and others. His songs have more heart and more emotion than any. Going back and listening to what hiphop was supposed to be, you really see how far it has fallen. There's no one left in mainstream music that even compares to this
As I listen to this classic, my mind drifts back to the fifth command in Exodus 20:5 KJV which states: “Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.” Parents are entitled to a degree of love and respect which is due to no other person. God Himself, who has placed upon them a responsibility for the souls committed to their charge, has ordained that during the earlier years of life, parents shall stand in the place of God to their children. And he who rejects the rightful authority of his parents is rejecting the authority of God. The fifth commandment requires children not only to yield respect, submission, and obedience to their parents, but also to give them love and tenderness, to lighten their cares, to guard their reputation, and to succor and comfort them in old age. It also enjoins respect for ministers and rulers and for all others to whom God has delegated authority. This, says the apostle, “is the first commandment with promise.” Ephesians 6:2. To Israel, expecting soon to enter Canaan, it was a pledge to the obedient, of long life in that good land; but it has a wider meaning, including all the Israel of God, and promising eternal life upon the earth when it shall be freed from the curse of sin.

When the song ends I myself have a hard time not letting the tears out but sometimes I cannot stop it the day my old lady leaves me forever I'm gonna be beyond broken
Just to put one information ,Tupac found his father finally alive when he was shot 5 time in 1994 ,Billy Garland his biological father visited him at the hospital

Tupac could get deep in his songs or just keep it raw as he was so versatile with his song selections. So many single parent household kids of every race can relate to this song. A timeless classic from Pac! Requests: Cameo- Candy. Heavy D & The Boys- Money Earnin' Mount Vernon. The Fat Boys- Fat Boys. Kurtis Blow- Basketball.
And yes. It’s similar to country song. One day I was on a road trip with my homegirl. From Ohio to Kentucky. By the time we hit southern Ohio bleeding into Kentucky, we could only find country music stations. We were r&b and hip hop lovers, and enjoyed every bit of the country music. Because the lyrics and storytelling about relationships, strife, love of cars and women, dranking the pain away…we all really are more alike than different. These types of reaction videos bring people together in the comments. Y’all contribute to joy and nostalgia. Keep going. 💕
I was 5 years old when this song dropped . I still remember my momma crying when PAC died in 96 . Till this day I get cold chills hearing his voice. He was the first music I was ever introduce to . I love PAC
As much as I love this song, I don’t like listening to it because it brings me to fight back tears. My upbringing was similar to Pac’s (as are many of us who grow up poor with single mothers). My mom struggled and no matter what, she always made sure I was ok. When this song was released I wasn’t mature enough to understand. Now in my adult life and with children of my own, it’s absolutely heartbreaking to think of the obstacles women like our mothers overcame for us. Gods love is the only thing that surpasses a mother’s love. Nothing like a mother’s love.
This song and "Brenda's got a baby "are Pac's greatest artistic achievements! And where it pertains to his screen presence check out his portrayal of Birdie in "Above the rim." He was phenomenal!
Tupac is more than the greatest rapler of all time, his songs weren't just about rapping. They were about black people and his life with racism. So I don't care what none of all say, cause tupac is the best
It's sad and tragic. What a talent he was. He wasn't just a rapper he was a lot more than that. His persona divided him from the rest. His pain changed the game. The realest to ever do it. Rest in paradise King 👑 we'll never forget 👑🙏🏽

His Dad tried suing for half of Tupacs estate thats not a real Dad.
It's sad that Tupac was deceased when this video was made , I cried everytime it came on.
Simply thank you for having an open mind country boy👍
This track always brings tears
I agree and understand 100% that is a country song. Such a beautiful song. Tupac Amaru Shakur amazes me.
I love when we learn, What divides us, also can brings us together. Thank you love, most genuine reaction I’ve seen in a long time.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
You gotta give respect to one of the greatest of all time…RIP 2pac. Man, the rap game would’ve been so different if they all were alive!
Yes, that is a very touching song.... It chokes me up and can make my eyes water everytime i hear it... Pac was a force to be reckoned with..... i only wish he were still here with us.... One love brother, rest in peace....
That was actually his mom in the video....
I love this reaction! 2pac's music is a deep story.
"That was a country song man", I couldn't agree more. Our world needs more of this, we need to recognize how alike we really are.
There will never be another one like 2pac. Waw
You said what I've always said. The greatest rappers tell a country song.
That was emotional 😭! Made think about my life!
This song and "Brenda's got a baby "are Pac's greatest artistic achievements! And where it pertains to his screen presence check out his portrayal of Birdie in "Above the rim." He was phenomenal!
Man, how America need real leader like Martin Luther King jr, Tupac, Abraham Licoln now more than ever!
You seem like such a genuine and friendly person judging by your vids. It makes me happy to know you exist. Thanks.
He was taken aback he could barley speak haha
Sooo much respect...... really understanding what the song is about ..... ur empathy is beautiful
Tupac is more than the greatest rapler of all time, his songs weren't just about rapping. They were about black people and his life with racism. So I don't care what none of all say, cause tupac is the best
Love your videos.
Peace from London
It's sad and tragic. What a talent he was. He wasn't just a rapper he was a lot more than that. His persona divided him from the rest. His pain changed the game. The realest to ever do it. Rest in paradise King 👑 we'll never forget 👑🙏🏽
watching this is 2019 I can't help to wonder what ever happend to real rap.
you can say what you want, it's dead.
"shed tears with my baby sister, over the years we was poorer than the other little kids" hits deep bruh
this is what youtube is about. nice reaction.
Life goes on tupac
Music is a big key of having people from all walks of life come together, keep up the good work man
As a person who loves all types of music, Classical, Country, Rock, Pop, Metal and Hip Hop I'm glad I found your channel. It's nice to see people who aren't afraid to try out various forms of music. I've always been open to all music and that has allowed me to form friendships with people from all backgrounds and cultures.
