And to be fair to America, the Oasis debut had charted higher than any Blur release to this point. Oasis weren't massive on the radar of the US until 1995 when WTSMG came out. And without a doubt Oasis attained more popularity than Blur in America over their career.
Why can't you just enjoy both bands? There is not a rule that says you must choose one. So stupid arguing about who's better, you can't. It's a matter of taste and opinion.
i hate oasis's personality. they are being civil now. and kind to their fans (mostly) because they are getting almost no calls in the beginning. oasis arent original and steal their sound from the beatles (thiugh their not half as good) and they say they are better. blur is way more britpop and i feel as though oasis is in the wrong genre for a battle of the bands. damon is now way more succesful and it is well deserved
