I think we run from the rain because we're afraid of good things happening to us. For me personally, I am always bracing myself for another tragedy to take place in my life. I don't want to get comfortable with being happy because I know it can't last long. Wow, we run from the rain because we're so used to the dysfunction that functional doesn't seem normal.
I've been running my whole life but I've been taking the feeling of running from everything else and using it to run to and in the obedience of God. Especially when I'm in error.
