When God snacthes something that is priceless out of your life you have to pivot. There was no reason or answers to the question why. I had to pivot and totally rely on Him to see me through. He called my 26 yr old daughter Dana into His Heavenly Arms. I return all Praise, Honor and Glory back to King Jesus for carrying me. I Love You Lord.

Literally sitting in the office fighting back tears.I always beat myself up for not trying harder and making dumb decisions in the past that has led me where I am today.I usually sit and think soo hard trying to figure out how I will get of here but hearing this made me realize that all I have to do is trust Him and not understand how.
I love your comment! I am the exact same! I use to talk about what others have done to me. How they have betrayed me. The dumb decision of giving people chance after chance to betray me... And I get hard on myself, but I am now beyond blaming others and allowing myself to know that I allowed others to do me that way, but from now on i will accept the blame myself and carry on by trusting God and his word!!!
This is from the lord! Last year I got burnout and depressed! I was in a dark place but I know God put me there to learn to love myself unconditionally! I now look back and think what an experience and how much I grew since then

From what I gather, you are rather lost and that is why you are commenting on this video. If you did not believe and were so set against God then why even click on a church sermon? Maybe God is calling you and inviting you to listen. I will pray that whatever hurt you feel from whatever happened to you, that you can come to know Jesus because He will heal you. As far as weak minded, having faith is trusting in what you can not see. That requires a strong mind because I will trust in Him and not need to know all the answers. I would suggest since you like to read, research history and see that Jesus is real. May you find peace and truth.
Pastor Steven, I just got home from a bible study. Its Ben a rough couple months. My daughter was diagonist with loops and this week my son had an accident cutting his hand at a friend's. House badly. I have been struggling with a pivotal desscion to sue the people to help with hospital bills. But I made a pivitol decision tonight to put my faith in God to take care of him and our financial needs instead. This was just a freak accident and I don't want to hurt more people. I know that this is from the lord and it is an opportunity to show Gods love to these people and also the grace and mercy I've been shown to them and to my son I thank God for using you as a tool to speak his word, bless you
@@chatti06 that was not a mistake. Even when mistakes happens along the way, God will find a way to use that "mistake" to redirect u to the purpose he created u for. Detours will happen but God always makes sure we arrive to where he wants us 2 go. We just dnt realize it bcoz we hv no spiritual eyes and ears to comprehend his plans.
There is so much societal pressure, even in the church, to "know" the plan and have "understanding" for life decisions but this message is so true to what God does when logic and analysis don't bring the answer. He is Spirit and He comes in fire with sacrifice and trust. Thank you for this message to the "planners" who make "dumb mistakes". This is from the Lord and It is beyond understanding.

3 take aways 1. The decisions you think are important are sometimes insignificant, but the ones that seem small are the pivotal (important) ones 2. Put a purpose on it, knowing that this is from the Lord and you are not going through this for no reason 3. Pray that the Lord will use all of your decisions, even the dumb ones, for His purpose in your life

I made a lot of mistakes, most of the time it felt like I was a disappointment because I could have done what's right in a situation but I did it badly anyway. This sermon just made me realized that perhaps my decisions, good or bad, were from the Lord. Perhaps I just ignored the parenthesis but now thank you because I was reminded once again that all things work according to His purpose. Praise the Lord!

My wife and I are dealing with a very difficult time in one of our kids life , he’s a teen .... enough said, right !?lol but he’s doing very bad in school and is sexually active. We don’t know what to do all we know is to trust, pray and seek God for direction
I have read this account so much, but hearing Pst. Steven break it down opened my eyes to something. True we only see Delilah when we talk about Samson but the fact remains that 'Our Dumb decisions when used by God produces powerful results'. I really have got to on my part, let go of all guilt like part of the message said, and focus on the purpose of God's plan for my life. I have a son out of wedlock and when i tell people he is a consolation for me from God, they act like i have insulted their Christian faith by insinuating that an out-of-wedlock child was part of God's plan and not they whole "sex is for only married people" which by the way, i don't dispute. I just know that, if i hadn't gotten pregnant when i did and become a mom, I would have fallen completely out of God's part, plan, will and purpose for my life. I truly am as i have always but with more assurance now, lean on God to let me know my 'Big decisions'. Cause i truly can't make any without him. I know this because i have tried in the past to decide for myself but let's just say now, am letting him lead me by the hand every step of the way. If y'all can take a moment to remember me in your prayers and ask God to really set me on the part he's called and predestined me for, especially with regards to be a Good mother, also praying for him to send me the right man to be both husband to me and a father to my son, I would be super grateful. I'm just finding out that what I've been watching is a year old. Today is 12Jan2020, I saw this Sermon last on Fox8 last Sunday morning!! But I really don't care. I may be out of sync but The Word Has Been Right On Time. I'm rebuilding my life from being laidoff, lost Apt, to now again having an Apt and receiving my Pension. My Continued Faith and waiting for Everything Happen In Gods Time. Pastor Steven has got me up when I didn't want to because I was so depressed from having Fibromyalgia, Eye Condition and High Blood Pressure. I missed him this morning but I'm Ok Now. Man I was holding my hands up at the end when he was praying. I was in agreement and then it cut off. Anyways I claimed the rest of the prayer I didn't hear because......FAITH in The Lord. My mom put me on Steven Furtic. Awesome. I haven't been able to go to church or take my family because I have no vehicle and have been currently unemployed been making it by the grace of God. Loved the message! Really hit home. I was thinking, what kind of message could be preached on the parents of Sampson? Your child is a gift, blessing from God but they stray from God, or what they were raised to believe. Thank God he can use the bad decisions in our lives and our kids lives!

Samson fell asleep on Delilah’s lap and woke up missing most of his hair but still had some left to repent and ask God to give him one more chance. We put our heads on this world and wake up bold unable to repent when judgement comes. Take care of your hair brothers and sisters before you fall asleep
Thank you so much for the insight about which church to attend. For my husband and I this is an important decision. Two years ago we came back from Brazil to Pensacola. When we were choosing where to leave to be close to the church we want to go, everybody kept saying but church is just on Sunday, you can’t based your decision on that. Yes I can! My spiritual life and my children spiritual life comes first. For us church is not just on Sunday, my family has to experience God in different ways. Attending and serving. Great, great word!
I have learned over my short 38 years that God is always in control even when I feel like nothing is in control or going right. I just have to wait some length of time and I can see God when I look back at the bigger picture.
It’s Pivot Week baby! I’m excited about it! I need a pivot! I needed this message! However, it can be difficult to leave our overbearing, controlling flesh behind. It wants to put us in a vice grip, but leave what we needed to repair in another garage far away... lost. I'm struggling with all sorts of sins, as we all do. It's difficult to maintain a spiritual state in a world that glorifies the carnal. And we can't do it alone. But as long as we wake up daily, realizing that in of ourselves we will fail, and accept the free gift of eternal life through the power of Christ Jesus... we will be transformed into a completely different creature. A creature of beauty and of worth. I believe that... I believe that fully.

Reading Crash the Chatterbox at the moment published in 2014 and touching me in so many ways here in 2019!It is true when the word says ALL things work for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose.It amazes me how I see him actively work in my life as well as others Lamentations 3:22-23 says "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases his mercies never come to an end they are new every morning great is your faithfulness."Amen!!I was raised a Christian but I never had a strong faith or truly knew the immense power God had until I moved to Hollywood to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a singer.During this time I realized that what I've always wanted and worked for since a child wasnt what I had imagined,I became depressed and felt extremely empty within. My mother always told me God instilled into each of us the desire to worship or praise something which is why we are always longing for something more,in all actuality we are searching for God.After a year I became homeless and in that time had someone consistently preach and speak the word over me,but I was defiant and angry with God therefore I couldn't receive his word. I believe thats why the word says dont let your hearts become bitter and of anger residing in the cap of fools because when focused on the bad you cannot recognize the blessings he has bestowed upon you but he knows us better than anyone and he has seen time and time again how humans operate.God knows us now and is also well aware of the future for who has counseled the Lord??!!HA!Ive always been passionate about music but the one thing I'm most passionate and excited about now is doing the will of my God it was never in my plan but understand it isn't about you it is his will and it is all done for his glory!I want to encourage anyone who reads this that no matter what you're going through God sees you dont be ashamed to come to him with your troubles or asking for his forgiveness he is always present and wants you to be happy thats why the scriptures say he longs to be gracious to you he truly loves us❤Thank you Pastor Stevens for your ministry,I have family and friends that have been baptized at Elevation and I am just so grateful for the work God has done through you may he continue to be upon you and your beautiful family 💕

From what I gather, you are rather lost and that is why you are commenting on this video. If you did not believe and were so set against God then why even click on a church sermon? Maybe God is calling you and inviting you to listen. I will pray that whatever hurt you feel from whatever happened to you, that you can come to know Jesus because He will heal you. As far as weak minded, having faith is trusting in what you can not see. That requires a strong mind because I will trust in Him and not need to know all the answers. I would suggest since you like to read, research history and see that Jesus is real. May you find peace and truth.

Pastor Steven, I just got home from a bible study. Its Ben a rough couple months. My daughter was diagonist with loops and this week my son had an accident cutting his hand at a friend's. House badly. I have been struggling with a pivotal desscion to sue the people to help with hospital bills. But I made a pivitol decision tonight to put my faith in God to take care of him and our financial needs instead. This was just a freak accident and I don't want to hurt more people. I know that this is from the lord and it is an opportunity to show Gods love to these people and also the grace and mercy I've been shown to them and to my son

There is so much societal pressure, even in the church, to "know" the plan and have "understanding" for life decisions but this message is so true to what God does when logic and analysis don't bring the answer. He is Spirit and He comes in fire with sacrifice and trust. Thank you for this message to the "planners" who make "dumb mistakes". This is from the Lord and It is beyond understanding.

2. Put a purpose on it, knowing that this is from the Lord and you are not going through this for no reason
3. Pray that the Lord will use all of your decisions, even the dumb ones, for His purpose in your life

I made a lot of mistakes, most of the time it felt like I was a disappointment because I could have done what's right in a situation but I did it badly anyway. This sermon just made me realized that perhaps my decisions, good or bad, were from the Lord. Perhaps I just ignored the parenthesis but now thank you because I was reminded once again that all things work according to His purpose. Praise the Lord!

I have read this account so much, but hearing Pst. Steven break it down opened my eyes to something. True we only see Delilah when we talk about Samson but the fact remains that 'Our Dumb decisions when used by God produces powerful results'.
I really have got to on my part, let go of all guilt like part of the message said, and focus on the purpose of God's plan for my life. I have a son out of wedlock and when i tell people he is a consolation for me from God, they act like i have insulted their Christian faith by insinuating that an out-of-wedlock child was part of God's plan and not they whole "sex is for only married people" which by the way, i don't dispute.
I just know that, if i hadn't gotten pregnant when i did and become a mom, I would have fallen completely out of God's part, plan, will and purpose for my life.
I truly am as i have always but with more assurance now, lean on God to let me know my 'Big decisions'. Cause i truly can't make any without him. I know this because i have tried in the past to decide for myself but let's just say now, am letting him lead me by the hand every step of the way.
If y'all can take a moment to remember me in your prayers and ask God to really set me on the part he's called and predestined me for, especially with regards to be a Good mother, also praying for him to send me the right man to be both husband to me and a father to my son, I would be super grateful.

I'm just finding out that what I've been watching is a year old. Today is 12Jan2020, I saw this Sermon last on Fox8 last Sunday morning!! But I really don't care. I may be out of sync but The Word Has Been Right On Time. I'm rebuilding my life from being laidoff, lost Apt, to now again having an Apt and receiving my Pension. My Continued Faith and waiting for Everything Happen In Gods Time. Pastor Steven has got me up when I didn't want to because I was so depressed from having Fibromyalgia, Eye Condition and High Blood Pressure. I missed him this morning but I'm Ok Now. Man I was holding my hands up at the end when he was praying. I was in agreement and then it cut off. Anyways I claimed the rest of the prayer I didn't hear because......FAITH in The Lord. My mom put me on Steven Furtic. Awesome. I haven't been able to go to church or take my family because I have no vehicle and have been currently unemployed been making it by the grace of God. Man I love God and I also pray he makes the dumb stuff I do for purpose. Man this was awesome. I learned allot.

Loved the message! Really hit home. I was thinking, what kind of message could be preached on the parents of Sampson? Your child is a gift, blessing from God but they stray from God, or what they were raised to believe. Thank God he can use the bad decisions in our lives and our kids lives!

Samson fell asleep on Delilah’s lap and woke up missing most of his hair but still had some left to repent and ask God to give him one more chance. We put our heads on this world and wake up bold unable to repent when judgement comes. Take care of your hair brothers and sisters before you fall asleep
Thank you so much for the insight about which church to attend. For my husband and I this is an important decision. Two years ago we came back from Brazil to Pensacola. When we were choosing where to leave to be close to the church we want to go, everybody kept saying but church is just on Sunday, you can’t based your decision on that. Yes I can! My spiritual life and my children spiritual life comes first. For us church is not just on Sunday, my family has to experience God in different ways. Attending and serving. Great, great word!

I have learned over my short 38 years that God is always in control even when I feel like nothing is in control or going right. I just have to wait some length of time and I can see God when I look back at the bigger picture.
It’s Pivot Week baby! I’m excited about it! I need a pivot! I needed this message! However, it can be difficult to leave our overbearing, controlling flesh behind. It wants to put us in a vice grip, but leave what we needed to repair in another garage far away... lost. I'm struggling with all sorts of sins, as we all do. It's difficult to maintain a spiritual state in a world that glorifies the carnal. And we can't do it alone. But as long as we wake up daily, realizing that in of ourselves we will fail, and accept the free gift of eternal life through the power of Christ Jesus... we will be transformed into a completely different creature. A creature of beauty and of worth. I believe that... I believe that fully.

What I got the most from this message was that I need to lean on God more so that he can show me daily what is truly important and my path he has chooses for me. And from that I can then learn to pivot when things aren’t going the way I WANTED THEM TOO or expected them too. Powerful message

Reading Crash the Chatterbox at the moment published in 2014 and touching me in so many ways here in 2019!It is true when the word says ALL things work for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose.It amazes me how I see him actively work in my life as well as others Lamentations 3:22-23 says "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases his mercies never come to an end they are new every morning great is your faithfulness."Amen!!I was raised a Christian but I never had a strong faith or truly knew the immense power God had until I moved to Hollywood to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a singer.During this time I realized that what I've always wanted and worked for since a child wasnt what I had imagined,I became depressed and felt extremely empty within. My mother always told me God instilled into each of us the desire to worship or praise something which is why we are always longing for something more,in all actuality we are searching for God.After a year I became homeless and in that time had someone consistently preach and speak the word over me,but I was defiant and angry with God therefore I couldn't receive his word. I believe thats why the word says dont let your hearts become bitter and of anger residing in the cap of fools because when focused on the bad you cannot recognize the blessings he has bestowed upon you but he knows us better than anyone and he has seen time and time again how humans operate.God knows us now and is also well aware of the future for who has counseled the Lord??!!HA!Ive always been passionate about music but the one thing I'm most passionate and excited about now is doing the will of my God it was never in my plan but understand it isn't about you it is his will and it is all done for his glory!I want to encourage anyone who reads this that no matter what you're going through God sees you dont be ashamed to come to him with your troubles or asking for his forgiveness he is always present and wants you to be happy thats why the scriptures say he longs to be gracious to you he truly loves us❤Thank you Pastor Stevens for your ministry,I have family and friends that have been baptized at Elevation and I am just so grateful for the work God has done through you may he continue to be upon you and your beautiful family 💕
