Tartan, what a wonderful obsession! I love candlelight and Christmas decorations. It is so peaceful. I will always remember as a family decorating our tree while drinking hot chocolate and eating fresh-baked cookies to the sound of Christmas carols. Your videos are very calming after a busy day. I admire your ability to create such beautiful decorations and clothes. All your outfits are precious, but your tartan skirt is especially beautiful on you and for the season. My best memories are going with family to one of the many Christmas markets and eating waffles with whipping cream. Helping my mom baking cookies was also wonderful. I am making her recipe on Saturday. Spitzbuben, which are Hazelnut cookies filled with rosehip marmelade. I adore this time of the year. On the Christmas market there is here (which cannot compete with the germans ones at all in any way ), but there is a Alsacian Bretzel seller, and I yesterday I ate a praline/pastry cream Bretzel which was amazing, I will go back there before the market is over at the end of the month!! Nice sweet treats are for sure part of Christmas !!I Frohe Weihnachten !!

Greetings Laetitia. It is funny, but I actually only remember once specific childhood Christmas, when my sister and I both had the german measles. We must`ve been maybe 9 and 5 years old and we both layed on the sofa in the living room together. My sister on one end and I on the other, feet meeting in the middle. 🙂I destinctively remember the aweful smell of the powder we had to put on our bodies, but I also remember the wonderful gifts we got that year. I remember getting a beautiful doll. That was really special. The year must`ve been 1974. Love your plaid skirt and those wrist covers. So adorable. I have been so busy that I haven't had a chance to watch the vlogs. Laetitia, your home looks so beautiful, i love how you have decorated for Christmas! I, too, love tartan, and your new skirt is lovely! I find that tartan instantly makes me feel cozy in the winter. For me, some of my favorite memories always include our search for the "perfect" Christmas tree. I remember vividly walking through the rows of trees, the delicious pine and fir smells, and feeling my face get cold. Every year we would find the magical tree, and I passed that on to my kids, who always enjoyed the hunt as they grew up. I wish you a very Merry Christmas filled with much joy!
