Based on the 2020 D-Max platform, the BEV concept boasts a substantial 66.9kWh lithium-ion battery.
This powers a full-time 4WD system with impressive performance: dual electric motors generate a combined output of 130kW and 325Nm of torque.
Equally impressive is the D-Max BEV's hauling and towing capacity.
it maintains a one-tonne payload and a hefty 3.5-tonne braked towing capacity, ensuring it can handle tough jobs while minimizing noise and vibration - a welcome benefit of electric power.
While exact driving range and charging speeds remain unconfirmed, Isuzu emphasizes the D-Max BEV's versatility.
It's designed to cater to both commercial and passenger vehicle needs, offering a smooth and powerful driving experience on any terrain.
The initial rollout will target select European markets like Norway in 2025, with Australia, the UK, and Thailand to follow.
