Great pointers!
Awesome
Thanks for the review. I ended up buying the course and very muched liked it!
That's so good to hear!🙌🏼 It was one of my favourites.
Hey there, I was thinking of buying it myself. Did you find the course useful?
Very helpful ❤️
Thanks Samik 🙌🏼🤗
i managed to get his course but I was wondering do you have any advice on how to efficiently practice the things he teaches from someone who’s somewhat a beginner wanting to draw people without getting to much into anatomy just yet.
I personally practiced by drawing lots of people from reference photos I found on pexels.com and unsplash.com. I just drew them from observation without using construction lines so that’s one way you can learn 👍🏼. You can apply his construction methods with pencil if you get stuck.
I’m ur watercolour brush is it half black and water?
Only about 5 drops of ink and rest water👍🏼
Would you recommend this for beginners?
Yes it has some great beginner basics like how to construct a mannequin. Also has some more advanced topics but still good to start to learn. 👍🏼
@@SketchingScottie thanks I'm learning how to draw and a lot of the books that people recommend on anatomy and things like that that say that they are beginner friendly are pretty complicated. so I just wanted to make sure if it was actually beginner friendly
I’m sold a easier to follow Kim Jung gi I really would like to draw like him
yea Tom has a great process to learn to draw like Kim Jung Gi👍🏼
I dident like the course I found it extremely short and underwhelming… it’s a watch me draw curse
question, do you follow along or just watch?
because it is really best if you're drawing with him and experimenting on your own, he gives a lot of breathing room for you to try stuff out. You only get better through practicing the things he shows you. I like it, but if you want a more exercise-heavy, more intensively structured course, try drawabox, it's free.
I agree with you. not really a lot of actual teaching and demonstration of concepts so they can be applied independently.
