Frankly, Roger's mental strength in “might lose” situations is on par with Nadal and Djokovic. In particular, his concentration on his serve under break point is excellent. However, I feel that Roger was more nervous and reluctant in “might win” situations than the other two, although I am an avid fan of him.
The best example of his mental strength was shown against Nadal in AO final 2017. not only was he down a break but Nadal also had a couple of chances to break back which he denied with incredible shots
Federer's mental strength being "weak" is one of the biggest myths ever. Sure, he probably shouldn't have lost a couple matches here and there, but some of those losses against Djokodal were more so because they're 6 years younger than him!
Not mentally weak but Wasted 2-0 against Anderson and Tsonga in WB Wasted 2-0 lead opportunity against Gulbis(40-15) , Millman(40-15) Tsitsipas, Del Potro Wasted 3 40-15s against Djokovic All of these in Grandslams😂😂😂
Some people always called him a swiss choker against Djokovic or Nadal. But you don't get to number 1, dominate for years by far, wins all these slams and stay at it for record weeks by being mentally weak... Notice Federer also rarely slacks off? You almost never see players beating him by one sided scorelines.
Federer never had such a mental weakness against Nadal. He only choked against Djokovic. Nadal always beat Federer when he played better but in many matches Djokovic beat Federer even though he did not play that good.
@soumadippatra912 Are you representative of whole Global population to speak on behalf of every human on this planet?? LoL 🤣🤣 Who knows you except your own family?? LoL 🤣 🤣
Federer also has the most wins after being match points down. He also has more comebacks from 0-2 down in sets than Nadal and Djokovic. He had the most comebacks until Murray passed him at the AO recently.
haha Federer is considered to have great mental strength against other players but if compare with Djokovic and Nadal he looks like the biggest choker in history of all sports.

I agree 👍
Yeh. And his serve deserted him Wimbledon 08 and AO09

Again age excuse. LoL 😂😂
But what about your Mr 40-15 losing a staggering 23 matches being match points up. They weren't all to Novak.

6 years younger and Djokovic almost lost. Yeah he had mental strength, but Djokovic almost lost to someone from the previous era.

LOST GOAT STATUS DUE TO 40-15 CHOKES INSPITE OF BEING MAGICIAN OF TENNIS. IF NOT CHOKED WOULD HAVE WON 5-6 MORE GSs & overall 110 CAREER TITLES.

not play that good ?, no way, you have to be 100% to beat him
Well we all know Mr. 40-15's mental strength who has lost a staggering 23 matches being match points up. 😂😂
Let me guess, your idol is Fakesurgeryovic? LMAO
That's why Mr. Covid became famous otherwise no one would pay him any attention.
