- Hey, long time no see! Making these videos take a lot more work than I expected. I could pump them out back when I didn't have school or work, but with both in tow it's hard to find time to pump these out.
Moving on, this is by far my favorite work ever. Without a doubt nothing comes close to the sheer intensity that this arrangement brings out. I had a lot of fun working on this and honestly was freaking out at certain parts cause it came out better than expected. The entire idea for this was in my head. A story playing out about how the Big 3 of the Animal Realm confront and try to repel Keiki from their territory, only to be met with overwhelming resistance forcing them to retreat. As you listen to just the arrange, you can hear the story playing out. With some added visuals to help with the process.
I want to hear your guys take on this arrange. Take a listen and tell me in the description what you picture playing out in your head. It'll be a lot of fun to ready into your minds !

at the end, i like to imagine Yuuma and Saki just toss Yachie out as a distraction to fight Mayumi and her army, which is the worst idea considering Mayumi's ability is a literal COUNTER to Yachie's..

Oh wow I did not expect Joutounin of Ceramics lol. I love how well all of the themes blended into each other, especially Kurokoma's and Toutetsu's
Here's what I gathered from this video in terms of a story, srry this is kinda long
Saki and Yuuma have both sensed that the human spirits were up to something. Normally, the two of them would fight, but they put their differences aside (for now) and try to figure out what's going on. Saki just brushes Yuuma's assumption off, even though she knows somethings up. Yacchie then arrives and confirms all of their suspicions. Due to the otter spirits gathering intel, they learn that the human spirits all plan on a mass prayer to something in the Primate Spirit Garden. It was all they could do at this point. There was a strange building in the garden, and the human spirits have apparently found something from there. Yacchie makes a a plan for Yuuma and Saki to try and sabotage it. Saki and Yuuma cause a panic among the human spirits while Yacchie goes to whatever the humans are directing their faith to. Saki agrees to co-operate and while Yuuma is a little reluctant to working with someone else, she agrees.
They put their plan into motion and Yacchie makes her way to the center of the garden. On her way there, she sees less and less human spirits. It was odd, but she pays no mind to it and continues forward. She stops at what appears to be an entrance to a tomb and goes inside. She traverses the tomb until she finds and old stone casket, holding an ancient god inside of it.
Meanwhile, Saki and Yuuma are succeeding in their task of panicking the human spirits which leads to the two of them fighting over the human spirits. Suddenly, they feel a distant rumble in the ground and they both feel a pang of dread in their stomachs. They let their instincts get the better of them. They were too late.
Yacchie could only stare in horror as she realized that their plan was in vain,
and The Diabolus was upon them.

I absolutely love the part from 5:38 onward. I can just imagine the three gang leaders standing confidently, thinking Keiki will be a piece of cake (lol) to beat, when suddenly they see army of thousands of Haniwa soldiers, with Mayumi in front, waiting for orders and they realize it will definitely be not as easy as they thought.
I wish ZUN could hear this, it's fantastic!!! When fossil ebergy blends with idolattize world... AND WHEN JOUTOUNIN COMES GOTT DAYUM! stellar work, i'm blown away!

Fucking awesome. The whole WBaWC-SHoSS arc was really scary and metal. Hope we get to see more from these characters in the mangas and hifuu arranges.

Man, you did this exactly as i thought when i was researching the lore of wbawc. I really like this "beast are very strong and dangerous, but even so none of them could deafeat the art's goddess" and your medley shows exactly the same thing! I see you're man of culture. :)

I'll gladly say WBaWC is the greatest mainline Touhou game, and to see this come from it is just stunning, so good :D
Espiecially love the more powerful tortoise and the beginning of Joutoujin, also both of them with ZUNpets
Oh man this is absolutely awesome. Hearing it all finally come together in this climactic confrontation in the form of this medley -- I love it!!
You should like totally make a danmakufu based off this and I like totally wouldn't freak out over it or anything... It's honestly so surreal seeing people I've been subbbed to and been watching for years comment on my stuff. It's crazy!
What a banger! starts strong with the troublesome trio and ends up pushed back by Keiki and her army, really clever way to make this madley.

3 months ago, when I found your arrange, I watched it in loop per hours and weeks. But I forgot to save the video in my music playlist in and I lost your song.
3 days ago I was riding my bike and remembered your song and started to search for it.
I searched in all my playlists, in all my history (in all my devices and browsers), in all my liked videos and in google using tags like: "Touhou WBaWC and Gouyoku Ibun meshup" or "Touhou Memory of Fossil and Dark Pegasus meshup" but I dont finded it. Even so, I decided searched for each character theme individualy using the youtube filters and but it still not found I started to think that the video could have been deleted/private and could be one of my indisponible videos on my playlist. So I decided to use Wayback Machine in that indisponible videos, but no one was saved in.
But today (3 days later) with all my youtube recomendations being just touhou 17 relatied video remix FINALLY appeared!
Im happy a lot cause that meshup is one of the best touhou remix that I ever heard and I can acess it again!

"How come you laugh , my boss?" The beasts said.
"Keiki is such a fool that she didn`t call any one to stop us here -- that`s why I laugh. " Hachie answered.
Suddenly , plenty dolls appeared and charged to the beast Spirits-- with their captain , Mayumi.
"Wanna escape...? No wayyyyyyyyyyy ! We`ve waited for you for a long time." Mayumi laughed.
This has to be one of my favorite things to come out of WBaWC, ever. I just love how the songs flow like water (especially anything Yachie touches) and how it correlates with the sort of prologue or WBaWC. It's one of those things I can just feel it be animated, the song alone shows the whole story!
I do wish there was a bit more Mayumi after that amazingly tense moment (where the medley ends) to show us the absolute oppression the animal sprits faced under Keiki's rule (or am I getting the story a bit mixed up?).
TL;DR: 10/10 banger, Mayumi part full/extended when?

This is a really fun piece! My favorite part was probably the mix of Mayumi and Yachie's themes at the end, I'd listen to an extended version of that any day. The ending before Joutounin of Ceramics has its drop really implies Yachie had a reeaaalllly bad time, aye?

I don’t think they could win, Reimu alone has beaten several full blown gods at this point, and invading Gensokyo wouldn’t just attract the attention of Reimu. Marisa would definitely get involved because Marisa always gets involved. Kanako would definitely send in Sanae to help stop the beasts and Erin, Remilia, and Yuyuko might send in Reisen, Sakuya, and Youmu to help assuming the big bosses don’t get involved themselves like in Imperishable Night. The Buddhists and Taoists would probably get involved, and Okina, Yukari, and Erin would likely have some sort of master plan to beat the beast realm.
The beasts are tough and arguably stupidly overpowered, but so are most inhabitants of the place they’d be trying to take over.
@@InquisitorThomas remember, that Yuuma manage to taking out both Reimu and Marisa but I can't say about other (Okina could just resent Flan to beat her again tho)
