Years ago I saw one of these in a parking lot behind a shop in Glandale, AZ. The hood was propped up and I could see the engine and I didn’t recognize the car at all. Back then there was no internet and it wasn’t until a couple years ago that I found out what it was. Good luck restoring yours!
My X boss at the VW /Porsche shop turned Hot Rod shop used Brake Cleaner for starting fluid. I used it on a Movie set for 1940s cars and worked way better !
I've always wondered how people can tell when a car is only running on X cylinders. Sure, it's obvious when something isn't running right (noisy, not smooth, etc) but is there a specific sound to a dead cylinder(s)?

Pour a little caster bean oil into the gas tank and it makes the exhaust a little bit more tolerable.
