Did we just have THE FIRST FROST of the Season ? 🥶 UK TROPICAL Gardening 🌴

it has started to get cold overnight in the uk and we have recently seen temperatures hovering around freezing, did we just get the first frost in my uk tropical garden lin Leicestershire ? we had 2°c temperatures for around 3 hours last night and we have had some slight damage to some of our big leaves exotic plants showing signs of frost damage on some of the leafs. we take a look at that damage and consider the idea of overwintering some plants now at the end of the season. #garden #gardening #uktropicalgarden #backyard

@@GrowTropicalMK thanks! yeah i think we should be able to squeeze a few more weeks in, although middle of November it looks like night time temps may get consistently low, gonna keep an eye on temperature and morning frosts from now and play it by ear i think 🤔🤷‍♂️ good time for working on the tropical swimming pond project, some new videos out now and a few coming soon!

Well, you got frost. Here in Atlanta, we've been dodging Huricanes and Tropical Depressions. We can expect frost after Nov. 1st. Sometimes as late as December 1st in the city.

@@DavidThompson-i8c yeah pretty common this time of year for us, maybe a week early this year but always a stark reminder winter is coming 😂🥶🤦‍♂️ yeah ive been following the storms over there its pretty crazy tbh! weather does seem to be getting more intense over the years . im hoping we should be about the same as you most years we are, and dont get any hard frosts till around then as well.👊
