I’m dying of laughter at the outtake of Greg trying to guess ‘floppy’ in the live task. I genuinely think all of that was as good as what they aired lol. I’m so glad they got the rest of that on film. “The Rabbit was relevant” is one of my new favorite TM quotes.

That was great! I kept thinking they would force it to end; I'm so glad they let it play out as long as it did. (The beauty of having a dedicated TH-cam channel for these types of things.)
Should've counted up how many they got right instead of making it an elimination game. Weird how a minor change like that can make such a big difference, nice to see the outtakes at least.
I hope they don't consider it a failure (given that it went badly from a technical POV), because it was hilarious. I would watch a whole show of Higher or Lower.

I agree with others, a Taskmaster extended like QI XL would be amazing! There's so much content that doesn't make it into the final show it's criminal!
Aw, I love the extended higher/lower. Greg seemed so happy to get to play, too. 💗 That's the one drawback to being the Taskmaster...you get to be funny, but you rarely get to *play* - and Greg is such a playful man, it's nice to see a bit more of that this season. 😊
I think Alex said there was a song as he knows how much Greg loves the improv song & dance stuff they do before recording starts. I suppose that's what he'd always get the kids to do in his drama classes.
I genuinely don't think I laughed harder than I have at 15:44-20:00. Alex's delivery and Greg just letting him go. I was laughing so hard I might've peed a little.
I will die thinking about Greg asking of a basketball being hurled at a snare drum, "How can it be lower?!" (in volume than a party blower) and some man in the audience seemingly shouting out in answer, as if it makes perfect sense and needs no further expounding upon, *"Because it's a drum!"*
Greg is amazing when he is into a full laugh his face goes back and he holds on the the chair or life and looks around its the best laugh sequence i have seen in a while!
You know what? With Series 14 episode 3 and this compilation releasing on the same night. I think this is the absolute funniest Taskmaster has ever been. Its rare an episode gets me to actually GUFFAW multiple times. Kudos to all!
Taskmaster has fifteen seasons of genius improv material from some of the most talented comedians of our time, and somehow the funniest moment of the show to me is that photograph of Dara O'Brien with his head apparently up John Kearns's bum. I am genuinely in tears every time I watch it.
I love "in fact I put on more flippers". Gotta love the improv skills. Most entertaining contestants come from Mock (of) the Week. Ed Gamble, Russell Howard, Frankie Boyle, Hugh Dennis etc...
If you can, try and watch the New Zealand series. Series 2 they really come into their own and they did the sabotage first. Its different and has its own flavour. And its a bit more nasty.

@@mikemack9701 The word floppy is just often associated with rabbits/bunnies: Floppy ears, to flop over, “flopsy” is a rabbit name etc. It’s a cutesy sounding word and we don’t often use it much elsewhere, except maybe when describing certain dogs.
@@mikemack9701 There's a classic children's book by Beatrix Potter called 'The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies'. My mum and gran always refer to rabbits as 'Flopsy' at some point. :) It's probably less well known now though. Sarah is about my age, and Greg a few years older, so they would definitely have read, or been read, the book when they were little which is why the penny finally dropped for Greg. :)

Haha! This was wonderful. Thank you. AND I'm glad we got to see all the noise attempts of the live task - as while it was great how it all played out for the episode, I was a bit disappointed that we hadn't got to see/hear the rest of the items.
Someone commented something on the clip of Joe's potato toss, and since i had to read it, you do too: There's anywhere from 2-4 months between the tasks and the studio recording. Joe spent that whole time thinking he absolutely nailed that task, only for Greg to rip the red green out from underneath him.

I suppose that'd just be Taskmaster, though, minus the tasks.
Some of this is a lot funnier than what actually makes it into the show. The hen-do bit was killer.
