Watching them do team tasks together is hilarious. Lucy and Sam just doing whatever it is that they're doing and Julian just having this air of thinking they're both morons and only barely being able to hold it back. Whoever decided that should be the team behind the scenes deserves a medal.

I did not think that anyone else could come close to Sally Phillips for sheer bizarreness, but the more I see of Lucy, the more I think she might actually out-shine Fern Brady as the second most wonderfully wacky contestant on TASKMASTER. What an episode it would be to have Sally, Fern and Lucy competing against each other!!!
Yeah i don't know if this said before , Greg is really great at being the Taskmaster, the way he does his improv really is something to behold, at one moment he would really commit to a bit, find awesome ways to engage with the cast, has really keen observations with the tasks, and just generally coming up with things on the fly. I really can't think of anyone else to be the taskmaster other than him.
I think Terry Crews would make a brilliant Taskmaster for a US reboot if they ever decide to try again. He's funny, smart, artistic, and very physically intimidating.
I great example of this is Lucy on Would I Lie To You, in a "This is my" segment. Lucy's was the true story, but part way through she started asking a teammate questions about their story, making it seem like she was accidentally revealing that her story was false. Her innocent bewilderment at her "mistake" made it seem absolutely conclusive that her story was false, and that she'd messed up. It wasn't false and she hadn't, but it convinced everyone, seemingly including her. She has absolutely mastered the art of "is this real or an act?" (And I'm fairly certain it's both).
I think she outed herself a little with Rogan Josh after steak Diane and Quiche Lorraine. She plays the airhead magnificently well though. She kept me guessing for ages, she'd have been hilarious as a straight face with the two Ronnies.

Lucy’s a genuine sweetheart. I drunkenly messaged her once on Twitter (rarely ends well, btw) after watching Series 1 of Meet The Richardsons & suggested that they should do a wife-swap episode with David Mitchell & Victoria Coren-Mitchell. She wrote me back & said they were thinking about doing something like that & we had a nice little chat.
This is what I love about this show - these aren't bloopers. People really did want to say what they said in these clips (except for Alex, he clearly did not want to say Big D). This was all intentional. Let that sink in.
I think we all fully expected Lucy would be in this. I don't think we fully expected that it would pretty much just be The Lucy Show. And in retrospect, we were all deeply stupid to have failed to expect it.

Honestly this is the best 5 in a while. All of them have something about them that is unpredictable and I love it. Julian, Sam and Lucy all have the potential to be top tier contestants

I've watched many clips of TM but never a full series. This series was the one that finally lured me in and it's been a riot. One episode left to watch. I have adored and enjoyed each one of the contestants. I'd seen some standup from Sam and hadn't liked what he was doing but here on TM I thought he was brilliant. I also feel Sue Perkins had a chance to show really how very funny she is. And loved the Sue and Susan connection. Lucy is just too funny. Julian...I saw Julian live at the Croydon Warehouse waaaaay back in the day, so I'm happy to see that he's still in demand and still wielding his comedy like a sniper!

Having been to tge filming of one of this series episodes I can honestly say there is a trilogy shows of the Thoughts and Observations of Lucy Beaumont that won't have made the final cut
I was quite confused during the show they didn't say anything about Lucy's quiche (I'm french so it was quite obvious for me) and I was thinking Alex will just drop it in a funny way. So now I know, they just cut it ^^
This series is just wonderful. It's been quite a while since the studio section is this funny, relaxed and weird. No one is gung-ho for the points like the last two series. Everyone is just there to have a good time.

Loving this series so far - Sam and Lucy is so chaotic. This may be shaping up to be one of my favourite series.

At first I thought that Sam would be my favourite out of the bunch but now I think that it's Lucy. As others have said, just give her a series where she just flitters from one topic to another like a conversational hummingbird. It'd be aces.

Having been to tge filming of one of this series episodes I can honestly say there is a trilogy shows of the Thoughts and Observations of Lucy Beaumont that won't have made the final cut
This is as good if not better than watching the regular show. Love it. Sam is the best.
I would love an XL version of the episodes (longer episodes that include some of the cut edits).
I was quite confused during the show they didn't say anything about Lucy's quiche (I'm french so it was quite obvious for me) and I was thinking Alex will just drop it in a funny way. So now I know, they just cut it ^^

This series is just wonderful. It's been quite a while since the studio section is this funny, relaxed and weird. No one is gung-ho for the points like the last two series. Everyone is just there to have a good time.
