Oh Cami, there's so much to ponder here, such food for thought. Gender roles, the meaning of sacrifice, how much is enough, wanderlust and jealousy...things I've contemplated, struggled with, reconciled. With my kids in their 40s now, i continue to be amazed at the lifelong impact of conscious, heartfelt homemaking. If each home were a sanctuary, how different the world would look. "There is no success that can compensate for failure in the home" continues to be more and more evident in our world. I pray that we can turn the ship around.

This story is about staying in my own lane and delighting in feminity. It IS a game changer.❤ Thank you, Cami.

Thank you for sharing this lovely story with us. It fills the heart with hope & encouragement. Everyone is at risk of the pressure to do more than is reasonable. Social propaganda is everywhere these days. There is a push to discredit the value of a nuclear family with a father & mother at the center with love & encouragement for one another. They set the example for the children that can not be replaced anywhere or by any one else. This holds a family together and in turn holds a country together. Without this bond we are surely lost. God bless you & your family 💕

Oh Cami! I think this is really where your niche of the internet is! This was amazing. Thank you for sharing. I simply can not wait to hear your thoughts on this story. It hit me in many ways. I can relate to both women...in some sense I live both lives. I am very much looking forward to your next video.

As one of your older followers I enjoyed this story very much. I was a stay at home mom and loved it. Most of my friends worked outside the home and I have to admit there were times I thought how nice it might be to get dressed up and escape to another life. Lol I loved being a homemaker. I had my second career once my kiddos graduated high school. Now I am working my 3rd career as a Grandma. The best one yet!❤

hey girl- this was really good!😀😉We have to take care of ourselves and what God has given us and blessed us with. We all are so blessed if we just stop and look around. We have to work hard everyday and do our best. And of course help our husbands and they help us. God has given us each other. God will give us all strength. We need to trust and obey the Lord😊 Thanks Cami for sharing this story🥰

For some reason I thought of my grandma Wilson. She was born in 1903, her mother died when she was eight years old leaving her responsible for her younger siblings while her father worked. She raised them until her father remarried a woman her own age and the friction of blending the family became more than she could bear so she married a sharecropper and bore eight children at home twins of whom were lost a few hours after birth. She was never privileged to go to school and could not read a recipe but she was a queen. She was an awesome lady. You could have taken her to tea with the queen of England and she would not have disgraced herself. She was an awesome cook, accomplished hostess and so smart. I wish I could have spent more time with her 😢

If I may add to the comments here as I see it. Our wonderful God, is a God of order, purpose and wisdom. When we put the Lord first in our lives and serve in the roles that he gifted to us in His grace, everything falls into place and he will provide. Not only that, but more gets done in less time! Woman were created to be a help meet. Embrace it.💗

Thank you for sharing this. What an impressionable story indeed! I can understand why it would stir up anger, I believe I would have felt very much the same way a couple of years ago..
Now it strikes a cord which resonates in a way I hope to fully grasp once I marry. I have totally underestimated the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

I loved listening to your story time. I look forward to hearing your thoughts about the meaning behind the story line. As a 61 year old woman who has been married for 41 years, raised my children and worked full time during those years this story may have a different meaning to me. I definitely would have done things differently. 😂❤️❤️❤️
